We stayed at the Front Village in May 2013 we had a fantastic time there the staff was the best we have ever come across. Every day always good morning Mama and Papa (we are an older couple) nothing was too much for them to make our stay there as pleasant as possible.a great pool and terrific pool bar. I have only good things to say about this hotel. It was very quiet while I was there but the service was great and the hotel was very clean. Definitely check out the Spa.

The hotel itself is pretty. The rooms were nice, and big. The pool is pretty and lush looking- very clean. The bathrooms have the plumbing issue that it seems most hotels do in Thailand- it kind of stinks and smells like it's about to back up at any second- plus every shower left tons of water leaking all over he floor. I'll just say this bc I wish […] someone had told me. No need to stay in Phuket more than a night unless you re taking daily excursions to other islands. Even still , you'd be better off just staying on other islands. And if you are single girls- avoid Bangladesh street like the plague. To get to the beach, you have to cross the street and go to public beach, and you have to walk around what looks to be a sewer retention pond. Kind of nasty. The hotel and staff were absolutely acceptable- just did not like Phuket very much compared to the rest of the trip. Devamı

The Front Village was a pleasant surprise; it is a clean, well-maintained hotel, with a nice clean pool and friendly staff. We quite enjoyed having a ground-level room in front of the pool, and the food was always good. We also enjoyed the daily morning breakfast, particularly the chief omelette maker! The shower (over the bath) leaked onto the floor […] during every shower (even with a shower curtain trying to contain the water). The walk into Karon (approx 10-15mins) followed a reasonably well-lit path with open sewers which were not pleasant smelling. If we were to return, we would stay in Kata, a bit further south; the place just seemed a bit more cleaner and polished. Devamı

Pros... wonderful pool with swim up bar. Not to scare anyone, if if another tsunami hits Phuket, this is a "safe" place to be. It is uphill from the beach, and there is a huge empty lagoon between the beach and the hotel. Cons...needs room updating, staff not helpful or too friendly, bathroom stunk like a sewer, Karon Beach is polluted like most of […] Phuket with trash all over the beach. Quieter and less crowded than Patong though. Pay the extra money and stay on a small island outside of Phuket Island. 2 Touristy! Devamı

The hotel stay was great. Located a short distance from the beach about a 5min walk. Staff were very helpful and service was always good. Room was clean and daily made with flowers on the bed. Nice touch.

The staff are lovely and really helpful though a few had difficulty understanding English. They tried though as best they could. It's not expensive and good value. However, there was music constantly being played around the pool which was disco type and the constant boom boom of the "big bass drum" wasn't conducive to peace and tranquility. We did have […] a word with management about it and it did stop. It went on whether there were people in the pool or around it, or not, and from the bedroom it was still loud. We were there for our first wedding aniversary and the maid made a beautiful arrangement of towels and flowers on our bed the second night. Petals were arranged in a heart shape and "Happy anniversary" spelt out in leaves. Really beautiful and a shame to move it to get into bed! One evening we discovered the restaurant around the bungalow end of the hotel complex, and had a very nice meal there. Don't know how these bungalows compare price-wise with basic rooms, but they looked nice and the whole area where they were was obviously more upmarket. Devamı

This is a good hotel. We were a little nervous as it was a lot cheaper than other hotels but we needn't have worried. The location is handy for the beach and far enough from the maddening crowds where the bars are located. Hiring a scooter is useful as you can easy zip up to Kata and other beaches.

If you haven't been, Karon is like the Scandinavian equivalent of the costa del sol, complete with lobster coloured tourists gobbling up the knock off wares and sipping overpriced Chang beer. That being said, this hotel was very nice, and Karon does have a lovely beach and access to numerous excursions to the excellent surrounding islands. Our room […] was well furnished with the largest bed I have ever slept on and a balcony with views of the sea. The breakfast was excellent. The pool had a swim through bar and daily happy hour and the poolside had plenty of shade for when you need to hide from the intense sun. The staff were friendly and if you found the right one (some had poorer English), very helpful. Hotel is 5 min walk to the quieter end of the beach and 10 to the center of Karon, meaning it feels much more relaxed and quieter than some of hotels right in the thick of things. It does mean you need to walk further for your evening beer though. Personally I wouldn't go back to Phuket again (it is less authentic and more expensive than other areas of Thailand) and if i did I would go to Kata. However if I had to go back to Karon, I would definitely stay here again. Devamı

A cosy and comfortable hotel, the Front village is the right kind of place for people with a mediocre budget. What really impressed me was the very polite and accomodating hotel staff, in an otherwise infamous Thai hospitality scene. Also got an opportunity to experience the Royal Spa located at the the sister hotel- 'The vilage' and it was definitely […] commendable service. We booked a pool view room on the first floor so we just took a few steps out of the room and we could jump in the pool. There was a pool bar which was nice and the beach was a 10 minute walk along a lovely quiet path. The beach was lovely and pretty quiet. The room was nice but there were not enough table space inside the room. We ordered room service […] for dinner and the tiny round table was too small. Not sure why they don't provide a desk with a chair and another table to eat and/or store your items. The mini bar was lacking as there was not much in terms of snacks or much alcohol but the 7-11 was a short walk. Lots of excellent food within a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. Overall the hotel was very nice and it was in a quiet location for those not interested in the Pattaya-like insanity of Patong Beach. It is pretty low key which is better for couples and families in my opinion. Well worth staying there. Devamı

This hotel was very nice and the location in Karon Beach was great. Our walk to the beach was only about 10 minutes along a lovely path across from the hotel. The beach itself was very nice as well. The hotel was nice overall and I'm glad I got a room right on the pool. I took a few steps and I was in the pool. The pool bar was great and the local restaurants […] served food. We went to the Red Onion twice and the food was fantastic. Overall the hotel and Karon Beach were great. I took a taxi through Patong and it was a little run down and looked kind of seedy like Pattaya where I stayed last year. I recommend this hotel highly. Devamı

Hotellet var väldigt rent och fräscht och välkomstservicen är bra. Frukostbuffén var den bästa jag haft under min 4 veckors vistelse i Thailand. 10 mins gångavstånd till Khao Laks huvudgata där de flesta restaurangerna ligger. På kvällen är området väldigt öde. Jag skulle inte rekommendera hotellet till en barnfamilj då jag inte såg några barn alls […] där under de 4 dagar vi var där. Wifi var gratis och fungerade bra. Får ett litet minus pga att jag glömde min klocka på hotellrummet och har försökt kontakta hotellet men utan att få något svar. Devamı

hotel charmant et vraiment pas cher, nous avons bénéficié d'un prix avec petit déjeuner inclus. chambre propre, rien à dire et piscine juste en face de la chambre. la plage est accessible en traversant la route et un petit pont. bien situé à 5 min à pied du centre ville de Karon. Hotellet ligger rigtig godt, centralt men alligevel ca 5 min gang fra det værste støj. Der er ca 5 min gang til den stille del af stranden. Både morgenmadsrestauranten og poolbaren var helt OK, og alt personale meget søde og hjælpsomme. Absolut et hotel vi vil anbefale.

Je ne remettrais plus les pieds dans cet hôtel! A notre arrivée, notre chambre était situé juste en face d'un marécage donc je vous dis pas le nombre de moustiques dans notre chambre. Les draps étaient sales et l'eau de la douche était jaune. Nous avons quitté l'hôtel le lendemain et avons dû nous plaindre de l'eau pendant 2 heures avec la reception. […] Une responsable nous a proposé de faire en sorte que l'eau soit clair et que ça prendrait que 20 minutes. Après mon refus, elle m'a proposé de me logé dans une chambre meilleure dans un hôtel situé en face mais j'étais tellement dégouté de l'hôtel, que je ne pouvais plus le voir. Nous nous sommes fait remboursé les 3 nuits d'hôtel que nous avons annulé. C'est inadmissible d'attendre qu'un client se plaigne pour trouver une solution à l'eau sale.... Devamı
