Pantheon Inn - Roma

We found this "Inn" through Hotels.com and chose it based on price, location and other guest reviews. Being this was our 5th time in Rome we pretty much knew where we would like to stay and the area around The Pantheon is our personal favourite. Our familiy of 5 (3 children) found the hotel to offer very good value for money. We have lived in other […] much more lux hotels, but wanted to spend more out on town than on sleeping. We decided to make use of the hotels "taxi" service and did not regret this. Polite and pleasent trip to the hotel. The hotel itself can prove difficult to find since you mere find a doorbell together with lots of other on the outside. On the 2nd floor you are met by pleasent and serviceminded staff. The hotel is tiny and an "Inn" as announced. The room was nothing fancy, but clean, free wi-fi, minibar, mini-safe and tv. The room was neatly cleaned every day. The area was peaceful and with the exception from som schreeching staircase which you might hear in the morning. This however was not a problem for us since this only starts at breakfast time. Our room (123) had window facing the street, but with little traffic this was no problem. The breakfast was simple, but good. The hotel clientel when we were there was two other parties with children, and then people in their 40 ties and above. Peacful setting. We loved the location and you are litterarly only 1-2 min away from the Pantheon walls. Based upon our needs for our stay we were positively surprised by the hotel and felt very welcomed by the the friendly staff. If (when) going back to Rome we will definitly evaluate the "Inn" as a place to stay. Devamı

This hotel has only 13 rooms and it's one of those thats converted from a residence to a hotel. This hotel is located very close to Pantheon, hence the hotel name. Staff is very friendly. Service was very good. Breakfast is very good. We got the room right below the breakfast area and since the place is very old, we heard lot of noise of people walking […] in the morning. So when we told the staff, they asked us if we wanted to move to another room but we decided to stay in the same room but that was very nice. I would highly recommend this place if you want a center location and don't want to pay too much. Just an FYI, we had to pay City tax in cash even though Hotel.com charged us Taxes and fees but I think this is very common in Eurpoe. Devamı

We felt like we were locals for the few days we stayed at the Pantheon Hotel. It has the perfect location and the staff was amazing. Don't be fooled by the more expensive hotels that are further away. You're better off staying in the middle of everything and walking everywhere.

This hotel is just round the back of the Pantheon, approx 2 mins walk from it- if you manage to get it for a fair rate, the convenience of the location will outweigh the little niggles that the hotel has. The location puts you bang in the middle of Rome and is far far easier than having a hotel out near the Vatican or Termini station-you can really […] walk everywhere on your city break. However, the little niggles do build up, so I would not recommend staying here for two weeks or so! The hotel is located on the 'second' floor (actually, the third if you don't count floors like a Roman)- there is a small lift, but we didn't use it. The exterior of the building is not marked clearly (no big hotel sign), apart from on the buzzer, so make sure that you know the address! The hotel was clearly a large apartment that has been divided into rooms, with a breakfast room upstairs in the roof space. The rooms were small, but normal size for Rome. They had been reasonably recently refurbished, I would guess around 2000-2005. They were furnished in a 'Roman' style-thing orange feature wall, dark brown wood. Not the most modern or expensive renovation, but to the hotel's credit, many Roman hotels have not been updated in a long time. Now the niggles. There was a weird smell that never quite went away-I think it was something to do with the pipes. This was in our bathroom and a toilet in the waiting area and got really annoying. We had to open the window as the air con only made the smell worse. The ventilation for our bathroom (no window) wasn't successful in eliminating it. The hotel was also relatively poorly noise-proofed-you could hear other guests in the corridor, sitting in the lounge area or watching TV. Our room was on the back, so no street noise. The noise from the hotel could be quite considerable at times: the hotel staff did not seem to realise that one person on the phone in the lounge area could be heard so well throughout the hotel, and did not try to reduce the no Devamı

The hotel was nice. The staff was very friendly. However, in the morning our room was very noise. The breakfast was nothing special.

This hotel is tucked away with no signage from street, but in a great location to walk anywhere in Rome. We emailed them and made arrangements to have a driver meet us at the airport so finding the hotel was obviously not a problem for us. There were others that didn't read the reviews to figure out how to find the hotel. Service was great. Check in […] is on 3rd floor. There is a small elevator so you don't have to carry luggage up 3 fights, so be sure to look for it to right of stairs. This second floor hotel is not luxurious, but it is clean, spacious and friendly. The entrance is not well-marked, with only a small brass sign and a panel of call buttons - once inside there is a small flight of stairs to a tiny old-fashioned elevator. Located steps from the Pantheon in a quiet neighborhood chock full of decent restaurants/bars and […] equidistant from the Vatican and the colosseum. Trevi Fountain is a comfortable 10 minute walk - we went there every evening to see it lighted at night and always felt safe. If you are visiting Rome to walk the city and see the sights, this affordable gem is worth the effort. Devamı

Take a taxi from the train station for about 10 Euros. The metro is too hard with luggage and only gets you 2 stops closer. Located right behind the Pantheon tucked away near Pantheon Internet store there are large green doors and a hotel sign on the wall to ID the location. Hotel is on 2nd floor about 4 flights up but a small elevator from the courtyard […] takes you up. Coomfy bed and sattlelight tv (if you can find any English channels, but when in Rome who needs tv) rooms have a safe too, the bathroom is nothing fancy. There is free wifi at the hotel, get the pw from the desk. Very nice employees and a basic breakfast was included. Overal comfortable hotel in an awesome building. Devamı

Interesting hotel..Not that easy to find (just a door buzzer outside two gigantic black doors!) but nice hotel for the money. Bedroom nicely furnished, bathroom modern but the mattresses could do with being a little thicker on the single beds (asked for a twin via hotels.com and after being paraded round 3 different rooms we eventually got a room with […] a double and a single bed that looked like it was designed for a children's hospital!) Breakfast ok and was as expected. The coffee however - good god it was horrible! If the owners do anything to change their service - please change the coffee machine!! Serving chicory instant coffee should not be allowed in Italy!!!! We would definitely go back (but we might skip the coffee!!!) Devamı

The worst thing about this hotel is finding it! However, once you know here it is you will be so grateful for its central location. The room was large, the furniture well-worn, but maintained. Bathroom was new and the personnel lovely and helpful. The small breakfast room made interactions with other travelers friendly and natural. Excellent location; very attentive, knowledgeable staff. Our room was in the newly renovated wing with AC and large bathroom; it was well-appointed and quiet. Although breakfast comes on plastic and with juice and coffee from machines, it is certainly serviceable--and great coffee can be had around the corner at Tazza D'oro. The Pantheon Inn has an excellent location -walking distance to many attractions/restaurants etc. Staff was extremely cordial and helpful. We chose this hotel because it was small and unique. It definitely gave one the flavor of a European "Inn".

I was very comfortable in this hotel. The concierge was friendly and gave us a map and pointed out places to go. He gave us a wakeup call and called a cab for us. Rooms are a decent size and the whole hotel was pretty clean. The only downfall is that the hotel is EXTREMELY hard to find. There are no signs outside, what-so-ever. I had an address and […] walked past the building about 4 different times looking for a sign to the hotel. The entrance is a big huge brown wooden door, and you have to find the tiny little buzzer to be buzzed in. Once inside we had no idea where to go, and finally found an elevator and figured out the hotel was on the second floor. So, if you stay here, be prepared to do a little searching. We stayed at the Pantheon Inn for our Honeymoon in Rome. It was perfect! The staff is especially nice and informative....we listened to all the advice they gave us and never had to wait in lines at any attraction/monument. The hotel is old and charming, just like the city of Rome. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome because it is so […] centrally located to everything you'd want to see. We had an absolutely great experience. We showed up around 11:00am and were able to check in early. The room was very comfortable, clean, with a great bathroom. This is a small hotel, but the staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is great. Veeru, who works in the front desk was always willing to help. Perfekt beliggenhed med gåafstand til alting. - Let at finde. - Hjælpsomt personale. - Alt i alt en anbefaling værd.

Rigtig god beliggenhed, lige om hjørnet fra Pantheon. Men ellers ikke meget godt at sige. Dårlig rengøring, aircondition virkede ikke, ikke særligt indbydende (på anden sal i en port), elendig morgenmad. Venligt, men ikke særligt hjælpsomt personale. Vil ikke bo der igen.

La chambre est très mal insonorisée , impossible de dormir au delà de 7h du matin.

i Garibaldis gamla palats finns detta lilla fina hotell placerat bakom Pantheon. Rummen är nyrenoverade och har fina badrum. Lite trångt i receptionen och trappor upp till frukostbuffén så det är inte handikappvänligt. Trivsamt, och trevlig personal. Jag kommer att bo här igen när jag besöker Rom nästa gång.

Boa localização do hotel, na Piazza Minerva, ao lado do Pantheon. Hotel simples, porém achei que meu quarto era razoavelmente grande. A recepção muito simpática, solícita, e todos falam inglês muito bem. Pantheon Inn ligger meget godt plassert /gangavstand til de største severdighetene. Pantheon Inn er langt fra luksuriøs- men tar igjen på sjarme. God frokost - hyggelig betjening- godt renhold av rommet -stille - super beliggenhet !!

Familien var på langweekend og trengte 3 rom. Vi valgte Pantheon Inn p.g.a pris og beliggenhet. Bygningen trenger opppussing men rommene var av bra standard, store, og reine. Frokosten var helt ok. Det ene rommet (nr 128) lå i trappa opp til matsalen. Rommet er stort med en deilig balkong. Ta dette hvis du er morgenfugl. Frokosten starter kl 07:00 […] og den hører du. Vi drar gjerne tilbake til Pantheon Inn PS. Det kommer city tax i tillegg til det betaler du hotels.com Devamı

Vi var 3 voksne damer på Phanteon Inn som hadde et flott oppholden en helg midt i september. Et pussig hotell med masse trapper, kriker og kroker, men desto mer sjarmerende.Noe vanskelig å finne første gangen da inngangen kun var en stor grønn dør. De hotellansatte var utrolig hyggelig og servicinnstilte og snakket meget bra engelsk. Rent og pent og […] enkel frokost. Mycket centralt lägt med ok frukost. Svårt att hitta hiss men finns till höger efter några trappsteg.

We were looking for a hotel in Rome that had the best location between the tourist locations for a reasonable price. The staff are very service oriented and they even tidy up your room if you leave it in a mess. You get the typical 3 star breakfast without any bacon or eggs. The location saves you a lot of time if you are going for the classic tourist […] locations. Walkable distance to most of them. Expect to use some time to find the hotel. Noone knows where it is, so don't ask anoyone. Bring a mobile with GPS instead. It's marked on Google maps. You must find a small doorbell and enter a door into an alley just like a normal apartment. Helt greit hotel, med sentral beliggenhet og kort vei til det meste i Roma. Noe lytt da all bevegelse i frokostsalen gikk tvers igjennom gulvet og det samme gjorde kaffemaskinen. Svært blid og hyggelig betjening!

Hyggelig betjening og veldig sentral beliggenhet. Koselig balkong tilhørende rommet mitt. Trappa til frokossalen knirket vel mye:-)

Ótimas instalações! Fomos muito bem atendidos, chegamos antes do horário do check-in mas pudemos deixar as malas e já sair para conhecer Roma. Além disso nos indicaram ótimos restaurantes, além de verificar horários de trens e como fazer para pegá-los. Muito prestativos e atenciosos. A primeira impressão assusta um pouco, pois o prédio é antigo, como […] tudo em Roma :), mas os quartos são confortáveis. A localização é ótima pois fica bem perto do Pantheon e é o centro para quaisquer outros pontos turísticos de Roma. Único ponto negativo é que falta uma placa maior para ajudar a achar o hotel. Phantheon Inn var et hotell jeg forventet litr av. Ikke fordi det så dårlig ut, men fordi det ikk ekostet en formue når det lå så sentralt til i Roma. Da vi ankom var vi 5 jenter, og som jenter flest tenkte vi ikke så mye over at kanskje vi skulle bruke heisen alle trappene opp, derfor dro vi våre 15kg kofferter opp opp opp trappene! Hotellet ligger […] inn en liten bakgård, der det er dør og hotellet har noen i resepsjonen 24/7 derfor kommer man seg alltid inn. Da vi kom oss opp trappen ble vi møtt med et stort smil, vi sjekket inn, fikk nøkler og ble følgt opp til rommene, koffertene ble sendt opp slik at vi slapp å gjøre det selv. Hotell rommene var mye penere enn jeg hadde forventet, igjen fordi hotellet var så rimelig. Vi var 5 stykker som delte et rom med 3 senger og et rom med en dobbeltseng. Sengene var store og det var god plass, rommet hadde også en minibar, vindu og et bad med stor dysj og stort speil. Hotellet har også en grei frokost, selv om jeg selv kun spiste der en gang fordi søvn ofte er nyttig etter en natts festing (frokosten er fra 7-10), var frokosten god. De hadde et utvalg av rundstykker, croissants, noe pålegg og juice og vann. Alt i alt er Pantheon Inn et flott hotell for både familier og unge. Det er ikke for dyrt, det ligger sentralt til, de som jobber der er hyggelig og hjelpsomme og det er pent og føles faktisk italianensk. Man føler seg veldig velkommen og de som vasker rommene er nøye og flinke. Vi hadde et flott opphold og vet hvor vi vil bo neste gang vi skal på tur til Roma! Devamı

Fint hotel! Intet fancy overhovedet, men rent, pænt og perfekt placeret bag Pantheon. Personalet er meget imødekommende og venlige. Værelset vi bode i var fint, med udsigt til en farverig romersk baggård, som vi fandt charmerende, slidt som den slags nu er. Væggene er ganske rigtigt papirstynde, men det er jo ikke ualmindeligt… Der er åbenbart tradition […] blandt romerske hotelindrettere for, at morgenmadssalonen på ingen måde skal afspejle antallet af mulige gæster, men igen var personlaet rigtig gode til at få det hele til at glide. To husnumre vedsiden af ligger et større - sikkert fremragende - hotel med uniformeret dørmand, stort indgangsparti og sikkert tykkere vægge (måske!), til en væsentlig højere pris…vi boede det samme centrale sted og spiste godt for pengene i stedet… P.S. Det er sandt at hotellet er lidt gemt, men der er altså et rimelig stort skilt ved døren… Devamı

Det var ganska små samt i vårt fall väldigt lyhört rum på hotellet. Frukosten hade jag oxå förväntat mig mer av. Annars var personalen väldigt trevliga samt hjälpsamma. Läget är oxå perfekt om man vill bo i "hjärtat" av Rom. Rekommenderas men förvänta dig inte "svensk" 4 stjärnig standard...

God service på hotellet. Morgenmaden var IKKE fantastisk. Små værelser. Meget tæt på Pantheon. Ikke velegnet til små børn og gangbesværet.

Our room was near a bathroom outside our door, and there was a horrid smell coming into our room. The director tried to cover the smell by spraying , however we nearly had to leave since we couldn't breath anymore. The entrance was full of trash and trashcans , some were falling over with the trash on the floor. The entrance was an old old door that […] needed painting and looked to fall down, and I can appreciate old doors, but this was a run down old door. We were very very upset and if this is they way you are going to rate a lower then 1 star hotel, then we will need to find another agent, although we have used your company for many years now. La llegada al hotel fue un poco dificil. No hay avisos. Pero una vez llegamos al hotel, la atención del personal en la recepción fue excelente, muy amables y con información útil. El lugar del hotel es muy bueno. La construcción es antigua, pero muy bien adaptada, se siente Roma en las habitaciones.

Utrolig fornøyd med dette hotellet. Eneste minus er at det er litt vanskelig å finne. Merk deg adressen... Kjempeflott rom med særpreg. Vennlig og hjelpsom betjening. Utmerket beliggenhet.
