Quality Inn & Suites Near Fairgrounds Ybor City - Tampa

Was not what I expected....room had a terrible odor.

Room was huge, bed comfortable, place was quiet. The Staff was helpful and friendly. Fridge and microwave. The neighborhood is not the greatest and it's kind of hard to find. I would recommend this place. It's hard to beat for the money.

The hotel was great! Although the hotel was in an area comprising many strip clubs and other not so attractive buildings, it was a little bit off the main road which made the outward appearance not so bad. If you are looking for a nice clean place to stay for a few nights, this hotel should be just fine.

The location and price of this hotel were great. The breakfast was surprisingly wonderful. Lots of selections of continental style but also had boiled eggs and make your own waffles. Was very impressed! The room could have been a little cleaner. You could tell the mirrors had not been cleaned, a little toothpaste spit on the one in the bathroom. Also […] found a hair on the toilet upon entering the bathroom the first time. Suppose you could find that in a public restroom. If you don't mind the surrounding neighborhood, this hotel is pretty good. This hotel appears to be only a year our two old and has won an award. Rooms, pool, building kept clean. I can only see this place doing better each year. Will consider when in the area again.

Hotel was very nice but from 1:30am till 5:30 am I was awakened at least 4 times by VERY loud guests and party goers. Management didn't seem to care. When I mentioned the situation at check out, they said "Yes, we noticed that, too." Why didn't someone correct this situation? I was very disappointed.

I was concerned about safety as we were in the second building, away from the main part of the hotel. There was not a keyed entry for the door leading out of that sectIon of the hotel. Anyone could have come into the building from outside. Many locals rode bikes through the parking lot at night, another safety concern. Our room was not cleaned nor clean […] towels provided the second day of our two night stay. When I told the clerk at check out, she discovered our room was not on the listnto be cleaned. Only given an apology, nothing else. While one clerk was helpful in providing us With directions to a local mega store, when I went to pick them up at the desk and asked for directions to a nearby state park, the male clerk just replied that he didn't know how to get there. I had to suggest to him to look it up for me on the computer he sat directly in front of....very obvious he just didn't want to be bothered. Devamı

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It's clean, the night staff is awesome. It is centrally located. The surrounding neighborhood is not the best, but it seems worlds away from the hotel.

Clean and comfortable room, friendly staff...overall satisfied. Would've liked a DVD player in the room though

The location is close to the highway and only about a 5 minute drive to cool part of Ybor City, but this hotel is in a pretty sketchy part of town. The rooms were nice, the amenities were better than expected (decent gym, ok breakfast) and I didn't encounter any problems. The hotel is not fancy but the rooms looked recently renovated and were clean and well maintained. I was with my 10 year old daughter and we absolutely loved the breakfast and in particular the make-your-own waffles.

I was in town for the day and needed a place to crash that was both reasonable in price and comfort. This hotel provided that. It was hard to find the location (passed by it twice before getting in) and the surrounding area wasn't as prestine. The check-in was efforless, room was clean and comfortable, and everything was fine. Breakfast was alright […] from what I saw, but limited in choices. Overall, it's a nice place to stay. I had AMAZING help by the workers at this hotel. They were extremely nice and they took great care of me!

You get the impression that it's close to Ybor but it's kind of a trek away and a little hard to find, the sign needs to be bigger, more visible. Other than that it is only 2 years old, clean, comfortable, nice finishes for a budget hotel.

The hotel was comfortable, the staff very welcoming and polite. I was greeted smiles and no question was too small to be answered. The hotel offered free WiFi , had a computer with printer available free at the front desk for those that did not bring their laptops and that saved my vacation since I had lost my boarding pass for my cruise on the plane […] to Tampa. The hotel is not near anything worth seeing but it is close to the freeways to get anywhere you want to go. The neighbourhood is quiet around the hotel and would not be recommended to walk in late at night but during the day, it is beautiful. The heated pool was a bonus for an early swim in the cool Tampa mornings. Their breakfast meal had a wide variety and all was fresh, their biscuits are awesome and making your own waffles is great. The staff and the hotel were excellent. No place close by to sit and eat a decent meal. All take out restaurants. Not a real good neighborhood. But absolutely nothing wrong with the hotel itself.

Very good value, low cost for high comfort, quality of service, cleanliness. Breakfast was great. The only issue is the surrounding neighborhood - a little scary. Right off of 1-4.

this hotel is a $10 cab ride to the clubs at ybor city and there is hardly any wait, the hotel staff was very polite and accomodating...some of the surrounding area is kinda hood but the actual property was very well kept up and felt very safe while there..the price was the best around, next time I'm in ybor im staying there again, also we were there […] when it was pretty cold out and the heated pool was still very warm which is rare Devamı

Rented 1 night on a leisure trip. Location seem little off, but once u get on the property, wow, clean, new building. Room spacious, very clean(even looked BETWEEN the bed n the wall, lol) ...great, great room for a great price. RECOMMENDED!

The hotel was very comfortable, even if it was slightly difficult to access because of the interstate interchange in that location. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. The service was good. It was about 10 minutes from Ybor. Overall, a great hotel to stay in.

I was up all night the night before searching for the right hotel to spend the weekend. I told my husband the next morning that i wasn't sure about the Quality Inn, but that is where I booked. I definitely made the right choice. Everything was great. The King suites- affordable and awesome. The king beds were soooo comfortable. Close to HardRock. It […] was truly a great experience. This is my third stay and i have always been quite comfortable, rooms very well cleaned, wonderful breakfast and very peaceful and quiet atmosphere.

Close to where we needed to be. Staff was great. I'd stay there the next time we are in Tampa.

Hotel was convenient to down town and other locations- Easy to find, clean, comfortable, decent breakfast in a nice clean area. Friendly & helpful staff Room amenities mentioned micro wave int he room, but there was none- did ok without it. Frig came in very handy.

My wife and I were in the other building that is not connected to the main building which at the time was fine. When we arrived later in the evening from being out, we went to bed but because of a very annoying noise we couldn't fall asleep. I tried turning off the air/heater located under the window and that wasn't it. I then checked the fridge but […] still the noise persisted. I called down to the front desk and reported the noise and a young man came over to investigate. We both at first thought it was the ice machine in the hallway but it was not. He determined that the noise was from the main air handling unit in the building. He told us if it was too annoying he would give us another room. We gave it another try but by 2am we couldn't stand it anymore. We called down to the front desk and requested another room in the main building. We finally got some sleep. I told the morning shift at the main desk about my evening and after some convincing the manager gave me a free night stay in the future. was only ther one night to go to the tampa bay buccaneers game. stadium was 5 mins away surrounding neiborhood wasnt that great but hotel was nice and clean and staff was nice

There are only fast food restaurants in the area. No good sit down restaurants anywhere close by. Did not look like a very good area. My wife would not go out at night.

Great room for the price. Hotel is new and was in great condition and very clean. Only issue was the first room we were put in the AC did not work. We called the main desk and they were up in a matter of minutes with keys to a room a couple of doors down. Great service!! Need some new equipment in fitness room. The price was right and location was central to all the places we wanted to visit. The continental breakfast was well stocked and service excellent. We'll definitely stay at this location again!!

For the low rate it was fine, but everything was pretty average. Breakfast - average or below. On the edge of bad neighborhood, but next to I-4 exit and centrally located (to the city in general - not downtown). TIP: Take GPS to actually find the exact "hidden" entrance.

The hotel is new, clean and not bad, but It’s not that close to Ybor city and the neighborhood it’s in is just horrible. We were driving on 50th, real close to the hotel and we had rocks thrown at our vehicle, almost hit me on the head and it cause damage to the car. I recommend a better neighborhood to stay in, but that’s just me…lol.

The room was clean as a pin, but at first arriving and turning on a light, the lightbulb blew. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was very satisfying, especially that it was included in the room cost. We would stay there again if were needing to be in the area again!

Quick cab ride to downtown Ybor... Just through the worst part of town to get there. The hotel was about what you'd expect, the surrounding neighborhood wasn't my favorite to arrive in at 10:30 pm

Hotel was, clean, new, and inexpensive. Very close to Skatepark of Tampa which is why we were in town. Very convenient

The hotel was new and nice. It is not in the best of areas, and security could be a little better, but it wasnt unsafe feeling. The breakfast was hot and tastey. The front desk and staff very accomodating.

Very convenient and the Staff was very helpful with the quick Check-in and Check-out. Allowed group to meet at Breakfast area until late the first night. Breakfast was excellent with many hot and cold items. Event at YborCity very close and Taxi was available until late night.

This is my second time staying at this hotel and I love it. Location is perfect, no congestion, quiet, comfortable and The price is right. I plan on making this my personal stay hotel everytime I visit Tampa!

We were attending a Women of Faith conference at the St Pete Times Forum and this was convenient for us. We loved the suite and my only complaint would be that the cushions on the sofa were stained. We loved having 2 full bathrooms (there were 3 women)!
