Hostal Jerez - Madrid

Excellent location, staffs are very helpful. The room is clean and the bathroom is clean and remodeled. I will stay there again if I visit Madrid again.

Excellent value for money very clean hotel and very central.

Pros: easy to find, very centrally located, few meters away from metro station and 3 min stroll from the Sol area, excellent room/bathroom quality and service, has air conditioner, overall better than some 3-star hotels I've stayed at. Cons: the elevators are a bit tight and sometimes won't open on the required floor but would go to some other floor, […] but that's a minor issue. Also beware that it's a red light area, hence a dozen or so ladies in miniskirts would patrol the street at night time, although they are not very noticeable in the crowds of tourists and there is nothing particularly gross or explicit going on. Is right next to Grand Via metro exit above a mcdonalds. Was clean, room had nice views and staff good. Was perfect for shopping and nightlife. Room had a/c and tv. All in all would deffinatly stop here again when next in Madrid.

Very convenient central location, virtually on top of the Gran Via Metro. This meant that Sol was less than 5 minutes walk away. Plenty of restaurants available locally including a McDonalds next door. The sign on the door says Hostel rather than hotel and so I was a little wary. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the accommodation which was clean, […] comfortable and quiet. The TV and air-conditioning both worked well and the en-suite bathroom was also fine. We were also able to leave our luggage without any charge after check-out as our flight was in the evening. Good value for a couple of nights' stay. Devamı

This is a nice hotel with friendly English speaking staff and small clean rooms but currently it has significant drawbacks which mean that I can't recommend it. The hotel is on the fifth and sixth floors of a building. It seems that the first four floors have been completely gutted and are being rebuilt. This means that during the week work (loud drilling […] etc) starts at 8 in the morning or before. Second the walls are thin which means that loud groups can wake you up at any time in the night (for us it was 5 in the morning one night and 4 the next night despite the hotel having moved us!). Third outside the entrance is a 'hot spot' for prostitution - surprisingly not as seedy as it sounds (there is a police station down the road) but you might want to think twice about who you are going with. Très bonnes impressions. La rue en elle même est assez bruyante mais d'un autre côté reflète tout à fait la vie espagnole !

Billigt hotell nära Madrids centrum. Tunnelbanan ligger bara ett stenkast bort. Rummen är små och ligger i en katakombliknande byggnad. Mycket lyhört. Den obefintliga ventilationen gjorde det omöjligt att sova i rummet utan att ha fönstret öppet, Omgivningarna är inget för en barnfamilj, men om man är på genomresa och bara är ute efter en plats att […] sova på är detta hotell ett helt okej alternativ. Hosteli oli erinomainen, ja hintansa väärti. Siisti huone, ja muutkin tilat. Henkilökunta puhui englantia ja oli varsin ystävällistä. Paikka oli muuten erinomainen, keskellä kaikkea toimintaa, mutta kävelykatu jonka varrelle hosteli oli, oli samalla "punaisten lyhtyjen katu", vaikka toisaalta oli myös läpikulkukatu kaikille ihmisille.

Små, men rene og gode værelser som ligger med den allerbedste placering centralt i Madrid. Tæt på de store attraktioner og nær ved meget varierende muligheder for spisning og underholdning,.

La posizione dell'hotel è ottima, si trova proprio al centro di Madrid. Non ho mai preso la metro per spostarmi da un posto all'altro. Il prezzo è davvero irrisorio ed è comunque ben tenuto!! Lo consiglio assolutamente a tutti coloro vogliano recarsi a Madrid...

Muy acojedor el hotel y las atenciones de lo recepcionistas ...me han dejado satisfecha ..por tanto lo podria recomendar como etancia ...

Das Hostal Jerez liegt extrem zentral - besser geht nimmer :-) Da es auch Zimmer zur Gran Via hat, sind nicht alle optimal, wobei die Fenster (und Ohrenstöpsel) den Strassenlärm schon unterdrücken! Sehr sauber und freundliches Personal. Zu empfehlen!
