Lamplighter Inn & Suites - South - Springfield

Large room with comfortable beds. Convenient location with many services nearby. Need to update TV's. Old, small screens and remotes barely operable. The lavatory area in our bath was barely usable because of cramped location; poor designe.

If you are a smoker this is not the place to be. The entire floor smells of stale smoke and the rooms are worse.

Hotel was fine. Convenience was good for what we were in Springfield for. Can't say much about the breakfast bar but it was OK. Came with the price so can't complain.

The room was not very clean and the shower leaked all the way into the room area and we had to use our towels to wipe up all the water. We checked out the next morning after having already paid for another night, but I was not going to let my wife endure another night at this hotel.

The people were very nice , very friendly. We ask for extra blanks and received them very quickly. Rooms are nice.

Workers were great. Girlie club next door was a little concerning, but the hotel did provide parking lot watchmen.

Hotel was clean and very friendly service, Close to family so will probably stay again.

I booked this hotel because it was close to the Battlefield Mall, Restaurants, and Entertainment. I was perfect for a one night stay. The pool area is very nice. Only negatives: firm matresses and musty smelling stairwell and elevator.

Was very happy with the stay. It was close to shopping ,food , and sites, there was a wonderful restraunt in the hotel that was open 24 hrs. The employees were very friendly and helpful. would totally stay again.

Comfortable bed and cool massage chair, the mini fridge and microwave are nice too. This hotel is a little older but it has been fairly well maintained and updated. It has a nice diner handy. Good location, especially if you're looking for the late night bar scene and easy to find. The price is reasonable, would stay again.

Very close to both bowling alley. Close to all shopping and eating. Rooms are clean employees were very nice. We plan on staying next year.

The Hotel was nice, but there were no boundries between the smoking and non smoking rooms.. and no real inforcment of the non smoking in the non smoking rooms. so high points taken off just on this issue... If your a smoker... youll feel right at home. While the overall point of the hotel was a place to crash after a night out with friends, I was a little set back by the lack of parking. The hotel also has a 24 hour restaurant attached to it, and shares a parking lot with a trashy strip club. So getting back to the room at 1 in the morning, took some time to find a parking lot, and avoid the drunks […] that were screaming at each other walking to their cars. Devamı

Check- in clerk was very slow about her duties and not overly friendly. The lobby was cooled, but the hallways were very warm, and had couches where the foam on the arms was coming thru. There were towels laying on the floor to catch rain water. The A/C in the room could only be set on High the whole time, b/c if you moved the setting it made a loud […] annoying sound. The hotel is an older one, has kept its maintenance up over the years. Beds were a little hard to sleep on. The most significant issue is the gentlemen s club right next door. We were stirred from our beds 12:50am Saturday morning from the sounds of motorcycles and girls cheering. Not the best for a family stay. I was not at all impressed by the hotel. The lobby was extremely small especially when everybody wants to eat breakfast. You basically couldn't eat there you had to get your food and go back to your room. The rooms were small and cramped and it had to be the most uncomfortable toilet seat I have ever sat on. This was a very comfortable hotel to stay at. My family and I had just driven in from San Antonio, Tx, the pool was open till 11:00 which made it nice to soak in the hot tub after the long drive. Ziggies cafe open all night made it very convenient to grab a regular meal at the late hour we arrived. The only negative I could have is it was not located […] very close to Hwy 44 which we were traveling on but was not too far out of the way either, just not the expected locaiton, otherwise a very pleasant stay, will return if in the area again. I stayed at this hotel because of it's location near Missouri State. Fortunately we only stayed one night. The staff were nice and perhaps the hotel is doing the best with what is has - but it was obviously built with low-end materials and is smelly through-out. Nice televisions in the rooms.
