Antanue Angkor Villa - Siem Reap

We stayed 3 nights at one of the rooms by the swimming pool. It was very nice, cozy, small and friendly hotel with many helpful staff.

This hotel is VERY good value. The staff are hard working and very nice. They do everything they can to make your stay comfortable while at the same time being the friendliest people ever! They always greet you with a smile on their face. The intimate pool setting is perfectly off the road so it is quiet. It is also spotless and very inviting. The rooms […] come in all shapes and sizes and they will make accomodations for you if needed. Every day the cleanliness of the room was very nice to come back to with free water and random times with free tea and fruit. Breakfast is included and what a feast! Very nice hotel in a good location. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very helpful and courteous. They went to the extent of packing our 'complimentary' breakfast since we were leaving at day break for the temples.

What is there NOT to like about Antenue Angkor Village?? Not only are the accommodations and amenities first rate, but the service and attention make you want to stay longer--which I did! I was traveling by myself on this trip. The staff at Antenue made me feel like I was with a group of good friends. A place to come back to for sure.

My husband and I stayed here at the end of July 2010. This hotel was absolutely lovely! Beautiful and clean decor, and the swimming pool was warmed up so after a day of visiting all the temples, you could relax and soothe your tired and aching body. And the breakfast was great and served in front of our own room. They also have a free tuk tuk ride to […] the old market area from 6-9pm so you can save an extra buck to buy souvenirs. The electricity plug-in was universal so any type of prong could get plugged in. These kind of small details show their amazing effort to accommodate their guests. I would definitely stay here again! Staying in Antanue Angkor Villa is like staying at the home of a friend in Cambodia: cozy , friendly, and comfortable. Of course you can't expect the luxury of a 5 star hotel, but neither is my home in Hong Kong, and AAV's cosy enough. I'll recommend my friends to share this "home" in a foreign country with me without reservation.

The hotel is beautiful, specially the rooms in front of the swimming pool. The staff is incredible: always helpful, smiling, they really care about you and offer a free tuk tuk (taxi) to pub street (which is a 5-7 min walking distance, by the way). But, as some other places in Siem Reap, the owner could pay a bit more attention on mantainance. I understand […] that this is a country that lives at least 1/3 of the year under heavy rain. But in the summer, a hotel have to look after its infiltrations, water systems, bathrooms (with no windows, specially) and painting. Our room have a very strong smell and it probably has something to do with the toilet system (bad attachment). But that, I believe is momentary, the overall analysis of the hotel is very good.
