Unfortunately we did not feel this hotel lived up to it's expectations. We ended up not staying there as it was not what we wanted when we booked it. It is in Meta, a few km outside Sorrento. It did not appear to us to have many nearby bars or restaurants. The beach below looked fine but very busy. The pool was small but looked fine and there were tables […] outside on a terrace, but in the kind of courtyard of the hotel so no views. Our room was an economy double, but in a 4 star (?) hotel we thought this would be fairly nice. The room was a disappointment. The bed seemed fine but the bathroom was grubby and the shower was the smallest I've ever been in and leaked onto the bathroom floor. The room felt more like a hostel than a hotel. Usually this kind of room wouldn't bother us but as we had splashed out for the last couple of days of our holiday to stay in a 4 star hotel we expected much more. The communal areas looked alright. Staff were a bit defensive at first but then booked us a taxi etc. Devamı

Problem is no ATM near the hotel. Great tours to Capri and Amalfi provided by the staff. Scuba diving requires going all the way to Positano. Train goes to Sorrento and bus. The maps do not show the bus station or train station (located together) in Meta.

Spent a few vacation days here tagged on to business trip. Wonderfull views, very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere in hotel. Got lost on tthe way to the hotel by trundling down the wrong side street with very heavy bag and they sent one of there staff with to find me with a van to take me back to the hotel. they were absolutely lovely about it and […] didn't charrge me anything ! The only good thing was views. Hotel was not cleanest, hot water was not put on till 4.30 pm & was only tepid in the morning food was nothing less than disgusting & surrounding area had nothing at all to offer Staff were very rude until last day when they shake their tips box in front of you The bar drinks were over priced & short measures. would never […] return Devamı

Unbelieveable view. Very helpful staff. Away from the main part of Sorrento and not within walking distance, but we preferred the smaller less busy area. Gave great restaurant recommendations. We would stay here again.

With a view to the ocean and the basic needed facilities in the room this was a favourite hotel. However, We missed WiFi in the room. Poor breakfast. Suggestions: better coffee and freshly cooked bacon and egg :-)

Prisvärt hotell med bra frukost, underbar utsikt (vi hade över havet åt två riktningar) Hotellet var fräscht med gratis wifi och förhållandevis nära till stranden. Vista sul mare indimenticabile. A sinistra paesaggio abitato, da cartolina. A destra della nostra stanza, roccia precipite da film a colori tenui. Tramonti colorati, albe intense e delicate, allietate dal volo riposante e tranquillo di uccelli mediterranei, tirrenici; spiaggetta sottostante la nostra finestra invitante al riposo e al silenzio meditativo.Una […] breve vacanza DISISTRESSANTE, come dice mia moglie colombiana, che da molto tempo desiderava visitare la costa della penisola sorrentina e l'antistante isola di Capri. Expedia ha consigliato in modo superlativo con una risposta superlativa della struttura e del personale. Potrò avere la speranza di un ritorno a Meta di Sorrento all'età dei miei 80 anni? Che limoni! Che vino! Che pesce! E che ragazze! A queste bellezze sorrentine del bar Palace Panorama Hotel di Meta:ho voluto lasciare un ricordo:LABOR OMNIA VINCIT. Una di loro mi ha sussurrato: ORA ET LABORA! Stayed in the hotel for 10 days in July and August 2011. It's a fine hotel, for the prize and the staff is friendly. We had breakfast included in our stay, and it was an okay, but nothing fancy, They make great coffee. It's a short but step walk to a good beach, but remember to bring money, as most of the beaches are privat and expensive to visit. The […] town of Meta is small and charming, and has a few good restuarants. If you plan to stay for several days, you should explore outside the town. Go to Pompei, Versuvia or the town of Sorrento and take the ferry to the island of Ischia, it's beautiful. There are good bus and train connection to and from Meta and it's easy to navigate. The best part at staying at the hotel was the view, which was spectacular. The wi-fi is free, but only works in the lobby area, and only some times, so if you need to be on-line most of the time, this is not a hotel for you. ;-) Devamı

Matka oli loistava. Sisäänkirjautuessamme hotelliin saimme heti hyvää palvelua ja meidät toivotettiin tervetulleeksi hotelliin. Huone oli hyvin tilava ja kylpyhuone hyvänkokoinen. Vaikka meillä ei ollut merinäköala huoneestamme näki kuitenkin viistosti merelle ja se riitti meille oikein hyvin. Aamupalallakin saimme erittäin hyvää palvelua. Toivotettiin […] heti hyvät huomenet ja kysyttiin tahtoiko millaisen kahvin, ja se tarjoiltiin erikseen pöytään. Uimarannalle mennessämme saimme hotellista alennuslipukkeen jolla saimme alennettuun hintaan varjon ja 2 tuolia rannalta. Rannalle pääsi hissillä. Rannalta huikeat maisemat. Ranta on lähellä ja rannan yläpuolella oli tasanne mistä oli kiva viinilasi kädessä ihailla auringonlaskua merelle päin. Devamı

Le panorama sur la mer et la côte est exceptionnel pour ceux qui ont mis le petit supplément deplus les chambres sont très grandes cependant la déco desuète des 70's et le petit dejeuner n'était pas à notre gout.

Läge -Lite krångligt att nå, snäva vägar. Bilavstånd till Sorrento. -Fin utsikt över bukten. -Strand nära. Hiss ned till stranden (30eurocent/pers). Offentligt strand längst bort, och helt ok med plats under veckan. Rent. Typisk italiensk strand i övrigt med mycket folk och möjlighet att hyra parasoll och solstol. Rummen Enkla med tv och utan mini […] bar (de flesta). Tunna handdukar. Ej fyrstjärnig standard. Rent. Övrigt -Hotellet har egen pool, stänger kl 19. -Gratis parkering under hotellet, mycket praktiskt. Bilnycklar lämnas i receptionen ifall att de måste flytta på bilen. -Frukost: enkelt utbud av söta och varma saker. Frukt. Varma drycker serveras vid bordet.
