Courtyard by Marriott Ocean City Oceanfront - Ocean City

There are not many "nice" hotels in Ocean City, so this hotel was a treat! We had a great oceanfront room. The room was clean, well decorated, and the beds were comfortable. We had breakfast in the hotel's restaurant and it was very good. Check in and out were quick and the staff were friendly and helpful. We will absolutely stay here again!

This hotel is, first and foremost, gorgeous. The rooms are modern and comfortable and impeccably clean. Our room had an amazing view of the ocean. It's also near restaurants and entertainment. The set-up is a little strange -- when you walk in, you need to take an elevator to the second floor to get to the hotel lobby and check-in. I had a great experience […] at the hotel, but I found the front desk staff to be cold and even a little bit rude. I got a snooty attitude at check-in, the clerk obviously didn't care to be there that afternoon and wasn't too concerned with customer service. She barely smiled. When we checked out, the front desk was unattended, and we waited a full 10 minutes (during which we searched for staff and tried to find someone to check us out) before the staff came out of hiding to help us. We didn't get any smiles, we didn't get any pleasantries, and was staff member in particular was abrupt and seemed annoyed that we were bothering her during whatever it was she was doing before she ambled up to the desk. In terms of customer service, this is one of the WORST Courtyard Marriotts I've stayed at... but even with the surly staff, the location, the comfort of the room, and the view made up for it. Devamı

Stayed here off season. Plenty of people were in the hotel. It had an upbeat fun feel as soon as we got in, with fine banter with the lady at the desk. The hotel feels very big. The room was an absolute home run -- super clean, spacious, with a big, beautiful sleep-inviting, luxurious bed. I could have holed up in there for a week. The only problem […] was very bright lights on the balcony oceanside. You have to really close the curtains tight. They should turn them off at night and let the customers enjoy the actual environment. That was actually a big deal for me. Anyway, everything else was perfect. Devamı

Very satisfied with this Marriott although quite pricey versus surrounding hotel rates. Parking lot at hotel is very crowded but there is a satellite parking lot across the street from the hotel.

great location, nice hotel but somewhat dated, clean and well maintained, close to everything, overall very good but because of location the price is high, in the future I will stay inland a bit, the short walk would be well worth the lower price

Got to our hotel and my full request was not honored until I let them know that the only reason we were staying in the hotel was to get a 4th floor room with beach views. The pool was nice but could have used some attention. And the sliding door to the room was broken. It really was not the best experience I have ever had. For the money it was not worth […] the trip. Stayed on ocean front side, hotel only 3yrs old every thing new and clean. Staff friendly, will stay again. Located about 3/4 mile north of the amusements on the boardwalk.

The hotel was great, clean, well maintained, nice appointments / fixtures. However the lobby is on the 3rd floor so if you are staying on the 2nd floor and there is a lot of foot traffic on the 3rd floor / lobby area - room 205 is very loud. This caused myself and my 3 year old daughter to take a very long time to fall asleep as the stomping and dragging […] of chairs on the lobby / restaurant floor was very disconcerting. Devamı

I found everything at the hotel. The desk clerk helped me find a good restaurant and a pharmacy when I checked in. I was offered an upgrade from my city facing room to an ocean front room. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. All the amenities you would expect in a hotel of this caliber were present. Overall a very nice stay

Great room, very clean, new hotel. Loved the balcony with enough light to read at night. Didn't try the hotel's restaurant, but it's close to many good restaurants.

The only thing this hotel has going for it is the view! Room poorly lit in bathroom. Room not ready at check in time. They advertise non smoking facility and penalties would be imposed on smokers especially on balconies. Two adjacent rooms had cigar and cigarette smokers on balconies and they did nothing about it when called twice. Pillows on bed are […] terrible. Shower heads and water pressure poor. Dust and grime on Vents. I would not recommend this facility. Certainly not up to Marriott standards. Food quality fair considering prices charged. Devamı

We got to the hotel around 11:30 am and though check in was not until 4:00 pm they had our room ready by 12:30 and checked us in early. When we got to our room it exceeded my expectation. Though the balcony was a bit small it was very well maintained, modern and pretty. Later on in the evening we had a few issues with electricity going out in our room […] (basically just the lights and tv wouldn't come on but the ac worked just fine) and when we called the front desk they sent the maintenance guy right up and he fixed the issue several times. (Later on while my mother was alone in the room and I was in the pool, I saw the maintenance guy running through the hall to get to her as quickly as possible!) Though we were only staying one night, they treated us like we were going to be there for a while! I saw the cleaning crew numerous times as I walked through the halls, constantly cleaning. No wonder this place was so clean! they never stop! When we told the front desk in the morning about our electrical problems they made it up to us as best they could thanks to Ed! Ours was a short stay but everything was fabulous. Perhaps a pickier group might have issues with this hotel but it was great for us. I will definitely stay there next time I'm in Ocean City!!!! This was far most the best hotel in Ocean City. And although it is new, I love the Marriott. The parking, rooms, resturant was 5-star. Would definitely stay here again if traveling to Ocean City again. Worth the money. Very clean!!!

We got a good (not great) price because the hotel was recently opened and it is the off season. Still, I expected better from Marriott. We were only given a one cup packet of regular coffee & one of decaf for two people (unless you count the used packet left in the coffee maker). But we assumed incorrectly that we could get coffee in the lobby in the […] morning when we checked out. Coffee was supposed to be available from 6 AM, but at 6:15 there was none. In addition to not cleaning the coffee maker, a towel used by the previous guest was left hanging on the shower curtain in the bathroom. We tried to check out in the morningas we were leaving, but there was no one available at the desk. I had to call the hotel later, when someone was available, to tell them we had checked out. As there was no on available to accept our key cards, we took them (knowing that they will just disable them anyway). I was told by the clerk who took my call that we should have left the keys at the unattended desk. I said I was unwilling to leave the keys to our room laying about on the unattended desk. The clerk completely ignored my concern that there was no one at the desk. I also told that there was no coffee even though the the sign said coffee was available from 6:00 AM. She explained that they only start making the coffee at 6:00 AM. (Perhaps they should correct the sign.) I expect this hotel will improve as the staff learns to clean the rooms properly, set up the coffee on time and have someone available at the front desk. However, the price probably be more than double what we paid as Courtyard caters to business people on expense accounts, so I don't expect to return. Devamı

Pros: The room was clean and nicely decorated. Staffs were courteous and helpful. I did not use the pool/jacuzzi or the exercise room, but they were there and looking clean. Cons: Our was a party of three, and the room has two beds. The hotel does provide extra cots. Parking is limitted to just one spot per room. We drove two cars.

I Loved being right on the boardwalk. The mornings you could sit on your personal balcony and just watch the ocean. Beds were beyond comfy. The indoor pool was set at a great temp and very clean, nice to have when it's a cloudy or rainy day.
