This hotel is in a great location; close to the main shopping in Sliema, across the road from the bus to Valletta, close to bars & restaurants, a beautiful view of the Sliema Chalet & the water.

It is a really cheap hotel, but the facilities and cleaness are bad, no better than a youth hostel. No duvet provided in the room just a really dirty blancket provided, very outdated TV with no clear vision, cracking elevator, out dated bathroom, broken safe, and no proper refund if you check out early.

Room was sufficient, a little worn and aged.. Small things like chips on the cabinets and bathroom with hair/dust, cheap shower head in bath.. Room was a little noisy from other guests talking in the corridors. Great location for getting around by foot to Valletta and St Julians and access to buses for the airport etc. TV - only had 2 English channels, […] BBC news and CNN.. No cable TV like advertised. Breakfast - very basic, egg and baked beans and fruit.. Don't expect high quality food.. Fine for people on a budget looking for a hotel rather than a hostel in a good location. Booked a sea view room, which turned out to be a great move. The room itself was clean and tidy, but perhaps a little tired, certainly big enough and everything you would need for a holiday. We spent more time on the balcony than in the room looking at the med and watching the world go by. Location of the hotel is excellant for getting around Malta. […] The food for breakfast was of a good standard, if a little limited, and would recommend not going half board as the a la carte menu is superior to the set menu. All of the staff were friendly and efficient and all in all I think the Sliema Chalet offers an excellant value for money holiday experience. I would recommend booking a fridge with the room. Devamı

Room was very smelly as we entered the room, bad smell of nectin from smoking, room was not clean, towels we get changed not cleaned properly. B,fast was same every day. Wouldn't recommend to any one. Bad experience .

I'm not going to pretend that the hotel doesn't need a little bit of an update, but if you can overlook the slightly dated appearance you should have an enjoyable base from which to discover Malta. Food was good, the room I had was adequate although possibly a bit small for a couple, but the sea view and the balcony made up for this a thousand times […] over. Really enjoyed the sun terrace for sunbathing after the sun had left my balcony in the afternoon. Plenty of loungers and space to relax. Devamı

The room was well presented with ample room and good cupboard space. Staff are friendly and keen to help, breakfast gave a wide choice of food. My only gripe was that there is a charge for the TV remote, but hey I didn't go on holiday to watch TV!

I felt more comfertable than in some of the four stars hotels. The staff were very freindly . The breakfast was of good quality and the serving staff was excellent. Minor things could have made the standards even higher ,like supplying shampoo, a hair dryer,exetra. Rhe location of the Hotel is quite handy.

We thought this was a great hotel for the price. We had a room with a decent sized balcony overlooking the sea which was just across a (busy) road. There was a nice roof terrace as well. The staff were friendly and our check-in was super quick. We experienced bad weather during our stay so we used the hotel restaurant after the first night as it was […] too wet and windy to go out. We were surprised how good it was and much cheaper than the one we ate in on our first night so I would advise anyone staying in the hotel to try it at least once. There was only one lift. This was not a problem because we were staying off-season and there weren't too many guests but if the hotel was full I wonder how long you would have to wait as there are 7 floors. Devamı

The Sliema Chalet was ideal for us. We found the room price very affordable and the position was great. Transfers to and from the airport were simple as the bus stop is located right across the road. We had a smallish double room, with balcony and sea view, on the 3rd floor. The room was basic but had all the essentials - wardrobe with hanging space, […] instant hot water and good water pressure, and a small TV. There are several cheap eateries within a minute's walk along the promenade, and It's only a 5-10 minute walk to the Sliema ferrys, shopping plaza, and many more cafes and restaurants. Public transport can be a little slow but, that said, we were able to step out of the hotel and onto a bus on day trips to every part of the island (and Gozo). A buffet breakfast is served from 0730 and the staff were always on hand to keep food options stocked and provide fresh coffee or tea. The staff are not the most naturally smiley bunch, but on every occasion we greeted them, or offered a smile, we got the same in return. All in all we were very pleased with the Sliema Chalet. We wanted a base from which to go sightseeing and it certainly provided that. Into the bargain we had a lovely view of the waves rolling in, a sunny balcony and a good breakfast each day. The mattress was of the poorest quality and had no mattress cover. The pillows were as flat as pancakes. The system of inserting your room card to access power worked only after much coaxing. There were ants in the room and the service was curt. The breakfast buffet was standard fare. There was additional cost for WIFI and for satellite TV.

i found the hotel perfectly reasonable for what we payed. the room was clean, fairly basic and in need of a little decorating to be it's best, but you mustn't judge these holiday island 's 3 stars against those in european capitol cities. staff seem friendly, breakfast was ok and used the adjoining restaurant which served good meals ; good portions […] and cheaper than many of the other places on this strip of sliema. bus stops to and from valetta right outside the front door. you have to pay for the tv remote and the room safe key but i think this is common practise here. the room was serviced everyday and you got plenty of towels and soap etc we had an inland view which looked over a construction site, but it wasn't operating thankfully. excellent view from the nice sun terrace on the roof. we got room 666 which was rather amusing ! if you're looking for a basic, clean room and a decent but not elaborate breakfast i'd recommend it. if you're really fussy or think 3 star should be top class maybe find a higher graded place Devamı

We enjoyed our stay at the Sliema Chelet Hotel and loved Sliema. Sliema is one of the quiater resorts with a range of resterants and pubs but only a short bus ride away from the night life, discos etc. It also proved to be a excelant jumping off point far all the atractions via those wonderfull old buses and thier crazy drivers. It was very hot (late […] July) and the sea was wonderfull. Beaches are mostly rocky with a wonderfull sandy beach or two up the north west coast. I hope to go back one day to sielma and would consider the sliema Chalet Hotel as it represented value for money on a buget. Devamı

Ich hab mich sooooo unwohl gefühlt. Die Aircon - Heizung - ging nicht. Alles war alt und muffig. War froh, dass ich nur eine kurze Nacht dort war.

Huoneemme ikkunasta oli upea näköala merelle ja vilkkaasti käytössä olevat bussipysäkit molempiin suuntiin löytyvät heti hotellin edestä. Asiakaspalvelusta vain osa henkilökunnasta ansaitsee täydet pisteet.

Non posso assolutamente lamentarmi di questo albergo, il prezzo più che concorrenziale, situato in ottima posizione. Io sono andato a Gennaio, in bassa stagione, ma i servizi sono stati più che buoni ed il personale gentile parlante lingua italiana. La mia è stata una camera doppia ad uso singola, non aveva la vista mare, ma no è stato un problema. […] La colazione era inclusa e per me era più che sufficente. L'hotel è situato a Sliema di fronte al mare, ed anche il bus per l'aeroporto (X2) ferma a pochi metri. Le pulizie erano quotidiane. Giudizio sicuramente positivo...Mix Devamı

Hvis du ikke går efter luksus er hotellet fint. Lidt slidt, smalle senge. Fin altan hvis du bestiller havudsigt hvilket er de ekstra kroner værd. Ligger total centralt til alt. Brug lige 5 min på et kort for alting er meget tættere på end det ser ud

Iniziamo dai lati positivi: abbiamo speso davvero poco e la camera aveva un gradevolissimo terrazzo proprio sul mare; in più proprio sotto l'hotel ci sono le fermate degli autobus per andare un po' dappertutto sull'isola. La colazione forse non è un granchè per i gusti italiani, ma perfettamente in linea con il tipo di turismo presente in quei giorni […] in hotel (molti nordeuropei), e comunque decente. Il personale è gentile, disponibile e parla italiano, ma poi resta poco altro. L'hotel è vecchiotto. La pulizia delle camere lascia davvero a desiderare (e non pretendo certo di dormire in una stanza sterilizzata!), il bagno e piccolissimo e con una finestra microscopica che dà su un muro interno, le pareti erano annerite in più punti e c'era parecchia polvere, e un odore piuttosto sgradevole. Diciamo che può andare bene se non si hanno troppe pretese, e se si cerca una sistemazione economica in un posto strategico. Ma il mio giudizio non è certo entusiastico. Devamı

Prima, wel budget hotel. Wij betaalden extra voor zeezicht - dat moet je hebben! Op kamer hebben wij alleen maar geslapen, is daarvoor voldoende. O, ja douche is ook prima te gebruiken, wel wat roest in de badkuip, maar warm water etc geen probleem. Wij hadden expedia niet goed gelezen (of het stond niet duidelijk): TV kost extra (2,50 p/dag) en bleek […] dat ze hebben maar twee kanalen (dat meldden ze keurig toen wij over de tv vroegen). Nu onze tv ook zeer klein was, zaten wij liever op het balkon naar de wereld te kijken. Ook best veel voetbal gekeken op grote scherm bij kioskjes op de boulevard tegenover het hotel. 0,5l bier is 2e, daarvoor hoef je het niet te laten. Een koelkast kost ook 2,50 / dag, die hebben we wel genomen. En Wifi was ook niet koestenloos. Ontbijt laat te wensen over. Personeel hebben wij als hulpvol en vriendelijk ervaren. Dus verwacht niet te veel, maar prijs / kwaliteit is min of meer in verhouding, want is goedkoop én op zeer goede locatie. Voor die uitzicht zouden wij zeker een tweede keer gaan... of toch maar dieper in de buidel tasten, enkele meters verderop staat een viersterren spacomplex. Je hebt zon op het balkon tot +/-12 uur, maar zeker nu wij het erg warm hadden (28-30 graden) was het juist fijn met de luwte in de schaduw 's-middags. Bijna elke ochtend hebben wij de zonsopgang bekeken! Devamı

The hotel room had not been cleaned for at leasat 1 year. The furniture was sticky to touch, and the floor was also sticky to touch, indicating that it had not been cleaned. I felt dirty when i took my socks off and put my bear feet on the floor. The walls of the room looked like a cave, and there was no ventilation in the room. OM inte hotellet hade varit så billigt skulle det ha varit en ren katastrof. Äckliga rum, dålig AC allmänt super sunkigt. Förstår inte hur anda person kan vara nöjda med detta hotell. Nel complesso buona struttura, personale molto disponibile, buona qualità prezzo. Un po' scarsa la colazione ma nel complesso decente. Ottima la posizione dell'albergo e ben servito dai mezzi di trasporto pubblico. Nel complesso anche abbastanza pulito.

bon hotel juste au dessus d'un arret de bus, il faut savoir que l'on peut faire tout en bus en payant seulement 12€ pour 7 jours mais que jusqu'a 11h du soir , hotel bien placé vu sur la mer (selon reservation) petit dej trés moyen et pas du tout varié mais personnel sympa. ho dovuto telefonare ad hotels.com e spendere 10 euro di telefonata per avere la camera che avevo prenotato a maggio e pagato 3 mesi prima!dopo che un ignorantissimo ragazzo alla reception aveva detto alla mia amica "chiudi la bocca" "stai zitta"; alla fine ci hanno cambiato camera (non funzionava l'aria condizionata sembrava di entrare in una sauna […] ed inoltre io avevo espressamente scelto una camera con vista interna per evitare il traffico della via principale, ma loro hanno ritenuto di fare un upgrade dandomi la camera vista mare: un casino inenarrabile!!!). alla fine mi hanno dato una camera vista mare, ma con l'aria condizionata che funzionava; pulizia scarsa, personale maleducatissimo della serie che quando passi davanti alla reception in entrata ed in uscita le persone presenti non ti salutano, non alzano la faccia dal computer e ti ignorano; 10 minuti per avere una tazza di caffè a colazione, peraltro colazione di scarsissima qualità; giudizio negativo, assolutamente, pe quanto la posizione è buona, fate voi Devamı

Ho soggiornato allo Sliema Chalet Hotel con due amici e devo dire che siamo rimasti stupiti dalla grande professionalità, disponibilità e qualità del servizio dimostrati dal personale dell'hotel. Lo consiglio caldamente a chiunque cerchi un'occasione di soggiorno a Malta con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo in una zona dell'isola paesaggisticamente […] stupenda e circondata da locali con ottima cucina tipica, primo tra tutti il ristorante dell'hotel. En Malta todo es lejos. Para todo hay que tomar buses. Y el hotel esta excelentemente cerca de las paradas. Eso justifica la estadía. Sliema chalet valgt p.g.a. beliggenhet og pris. Absolutt å anbefale for hotel i sin prisklasse. Serviceminded personel, god frokost, fin utsikt fra rom med sjøutsikt. Nær transportmidler, og spisesteder.
