Nice, clean but I had to call for my room cleaning ... and I had to call more than once. They flunked on that note ... however the location was very convenient for my needs and overall a nice looking hotel. Rooftop lounge opens at 5PM which was too late when needing a quiet, lounge area to work or relax.

I was disappointed in my four day stay at the Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel during the Final Four. I understand that the rates were raised over 50% from the normal rates - i don't like it - but I understand. What I don't understand is how, with over twelve (12) months of planning time available, the hotel did not have enough Housekeepers to clean […] our room on Monday - the day of the Final Four. In addition, during breakfast hours, I was disappointed with the level of service in the dining area - you shouldn't have to wait 5 minutes (2 days) before a waitress approaches your table - when there is NO ONE else in the 100+ seating capacity restaurant. This hotel was the best we have stayed at in awhile. The staff was extremely friendly. The room was comfortable and quiet. There were tons of places within walking distance including Piedmont Park and a Marta station 2 minute walk away. I would definitely stay here again! Exceeded my expectations and we travel a lot.

This hotel was modern and easy to find. The staff was very available and helpful. There were a few minor mix-ups with our package (tickets to High Museum, free parking and breakfast). The staff handled everything perfectly and even gave us a ride to the museum.

The bathroom was to die for! Only complaint is that when I made the reservation I was told that you could park you own car and not use the valet. When I checked in, there was no self park available. Only choices were to valet or park on the street.

The room was roomy, staff was helpful and.friendly. Good eateries in the area. Towels were my least favorite. The towels are very rough. Would stay here again.

I travel frequently and this hotel is the best one I have ever stayed at. The staff is very friendly, and not just in the "we have to act like we like you" way. They were funny, helpful, and very attentive. The hotel is located in midtown and a very short walk to many popular sites as well as only about 2 blocks from the midtown MARTA station.

Upon arriving until departure the hotel was spotless. Rooms were clean and well maintained. They have door men waiting for guest to arrive and will unload your luggage so you dont have to handle a thing. I took a group to Atlanta for a conference at the Dome. There is a Marta train station about 2 blocks away. There is a great breakfast brunch establishment […] a block from hotel. There is a parking lot for buses a block behind the hotel so those who are traveling with school/church groups. The hotel even has umbrella's in each room. Though not targeting the family experience, this is still a great property! Stayed for a post-holiday overnight getaway with wife and 3 kids. Excellent all around. Staff accomodated us with (2) rollaway beds for our suite. Kids are the most honest critics - they loved it.

the hotel was really nice with a modern decor. The location was amazing just two blocks away from the MARTA and there were a lot of restaurants and bars within walking distance from the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful and the best feature of the hotel is the courtesy car which took us to a nearby mall and even picked us up afterwards. the […] only complaints are the parking fee $30 a day and no free wireless internet. Staff was polite and very helpful. I did not have to wait long for my vehicle. I did put in a request through Expedia that I was allergic to down pillows. That request never made it to the hotel files. Within 10 minutes of calling the front desk, they brought me new pillows.

Good hotel. I stayed in the single king room, which was spacious and had a pretty good view of nearby buildings. Minor complaints: 1) No windows although air con was pretty good 2) Expensive WiFi at US$15 a day! I attended a conference at Georgia Tech Hotel and Convention Center, which had free WiFI. Loved almost everything about this hotel: its decor, valet staff, restaurant, bedding, bathroom items, neighborhood, etc. As others have said, the fee to valet-park is typical for Atlanta (i.e., pricey), and with no turn-around, you're parking on the street when you're waiting for the valet guy, which can be a little dangerous and hair-raising. And […] the lighting in the bathroom really is quite dim, though the good-quality magnifying mirror really helps. Still, I'd definitely stay here again, especially if I could get a good deal via Expedia, etc. I felt like I was staying where it was hip and happening, and was really taken care of. Devamı

Very nice. The $10 mini bar credit was nice. My only issue is that the valet parking is $30 and they forgot to add it to my bill so I had to go back and settle that. Slight inconvenience. Other than that, everybody was very nice and I love the hotel.

I was very dissatisfied with the Renaissance Hotel in Atlanta. Upon arrival I was told that even though I had requested a double room and my confirmation listed a double room, I could only get a double room by paying a $30 upgrade for the deluxe suite. I paid the $30, but did not find anything deluxe about.the room (it was a typical room for this price […] point). We had also booked the room for 4 people, but only had 3 sets of towels. Excellent service; staff was polite, thorough, and diverse. From the parking attendees to the front desk day staff, we were treated well. They were even awesome with our seven and three year old sons.

The hotel and room decor is amazing/super modern while still being very comfortable. I was a little disappointed in the bed. It looked sooooo soft and comfy but was very firm, almost hard. First hotel that we've ever stayed in that had valet parking (I'm from Kansas, ok?) The bell boys were very accommodating with our luggage, and when we needed our car out of the valet parking, the attendants were quick and helpful. The only problem we had was with the receptionist who checked us in - she wasn't very friendly.

Add $30.00 for parking for your stay, they came to fix the toilet and charged us $10.95 to fix it? and everyone is looking for a tip...but it was a very nice place to stay at...

I was very pleased with the hotel for the price. The hotel was extremely nice! The only thing I wasnt pleased with was the valet service. The valet to entirely to long to get the car, but the hotel was AWESOME!

This was our third visit to this hotel in Midtown. Unfortunately the staff of the Renaissance is not equal to that of the former Kimpton Palomar. We were disappointed with the front desk, lack of concierge, etc. We were told upon arrival that we'd have use of the hotel car to our nearby dinner reservation, which did not work out.No one seemed to know […] what was going on. The complimentary bottle of wine was delivered to our room too late to enjoy. On the plus side, the terrace bar was delightful and the service was prompt and courteous. We would return to this hotel for the location, comfortable outdoor terrace bar and quality upkeep of the property. Devamı

Reservation was for two double beds and we had to settle for a king bed. They had already given out all of the double bed rooms.

Did not supply all they offered (dog bed, bowls and treats) for our dog and what they supply, we didn't get delivered to the room until the following evening. Other than that, liked the area and the hotel/location for the needs of my visit (NCAA Tournament Regionals).

Ok, maybe not the most alluring review title, but that is exactly what it was an "allergy haven". I had booked a clean air room, and little did I know how high the pollen count would be the day I got there. This hotel was in a great location, had excellent service and very comfortable rooms. We would definitely stay again. The room was small, but adequate, and the bathroom dark,but the beds were super comfortable and the clean, modern decor made up for those issues. The front desk and valet service were friendly, helpful and attentive.
