Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok - Bangkok

Spent one night here. Lovely hotel, staff very polite and helpful. We booked a riverside room but were upgraded to a one bedroom suite which was very nice with wonderful views. The river boat service to the skytrain station was very convenient. We are coming back here for New Years, really looking forward to it.

Staying here is a really good experience. Good layout, friendly and helpful staff. Located close to the metro and in the daytime a shuttle boat departs every 15 minutes from the hotel to the central water bus station. The hotel have a romantic feeling and the surrounding is very relaxing. Dining by the riverside is exciting.

Great position on river. Rooms have balconies and you can open your sliding door, a rarity in Bangkok. Maintenance of hotel could be improved a little, but overall a nice hotel, good breakfast. Not much else near hotel but it is only a short boat ride to the MRT station. I would probably stay at this hotel again, good value for money.

Great staff, comfortable room. Surprised to find a mini kitchen in the room, even though we did not use it. Free boat shuttle was very useful.

This hotel for less than 1/2 the price of other five star hotels in the area I have stayed at is an excellent vakue/choice. The staff was incredible at this family friendly hotel.

The hotel and grounds are well kept. The suite was very spacious and had a walk out balcony. Great view of the river. I am surprized that management picked white sofa's, when you know that there can be high traffic to a room. Our sofa had stain on it that was a eye sore. The boat shuttle was handy to get to the sky train. Massages were cheaper in town […] than at the hotel. That said my daughter did like the chocolate detox scrub with the massage that the hotel offered. But for sure try a foot massage when your walking the streets. Devamı

Fantastic hotel with great rooms. Lovely view over the river. Ask for a room in the top, preferable with River view. Very good restaurants with live music in the evening, enjoyable pool area with good service. We would definately stay here again.

Amazing hotel, great rooms with amazing view on the city and the river (riverview is really worth it!). Nice breakfast, great gym, and amazing pool on 6th floor with a spectacular view...unmissable! Staff very professional, helpful and friendly. The hotel is maybe a bit far from the center compared to other hotels, but loads of taxi are available, […] and as the taxi rate is really cheap, this is not a main issue. Very nice hotel with good breakfast, shuttle to river taxi, etc. Has a kitchen if needed for prolonged stay or with children. Lovely pool.

Efficient but not opulent. Very attentive staff. Attractive location on the Chao Praya river with good connections via ferry boat to the Skytrain station and many destinations throughout Bangkok. Very nice pool on the 6th floor with view over the river

I loved this hotel! It was a great way to end my 1 month vacation in Thailand. It felt great to be in a place where you can relax and feel pampered. The service there was very professional, and the hotel is beautiful!

We were well looked after by all the staff at Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok. The rooms are cool, inviting and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was delicious with an amazing variety of food. It was wonderful being able to cool off in the beautiful pool after after a day of shopping and sight seeing in Bangkok. My daughter and I used the hotel's water […] ferry several times to travel to sites along the river. I returned on my own before I had to come home & I was warmly welcomed back. We stayed at the Chatrium Riverside Hotel for 4 nights. And we liked it a lot. The hotel is located by the river, so it´s not in the city center. But it´s really easy to get to the city center by boot and sky train or by taxi (both cost about 1-2€).The rooms were big and comfortable. We had a riverside room so wi-fi was included. The breakfast was good, […] but the best part of the hotel was the pool. It was big and there were enough sun chairs. It had a great view to the river, and there were no buildings blocking the sun. is an oasis in a crowded city. To sit om the balcony with great views over the river and the city is fantastic. The bed is the most comfy ever slept in in Thailand. If you find it to hard just ask them to put another bedtop on it. The poolarea has to few sunbeds and that is the only negative I can find about the hotel. At new year it was a total me […] ss. I wish I had booked it for more than a day. I loved the location and our room, we had a very comfortable stay. Perhaps the bathroom could have been slightly bigger. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Great location right next to the river with riverside dining and good food. The room was large, had a kitchenette & balcony big enough to sit out on and have a drink (we were lucky the weather wasn't too hot for that) with great views - we had a lower priced city view but we could still see some of the river- and the view was great over the city anyway! […] They have their own boat (no charge) that takes you to the Central boat station from which you can catch "the Tourist Boat" for 40 dong (about $1.25) that takes you close to all the major attractions) Hotel is also not too far from the night market. A tuk-tuk is very inexpensive to get around in - don't let them overcharge you! Be sure of the price before getting into it - and tell them "NO STOPS ALONG THE WAY" Devamı

Me and my wife spent 2 nights here during our recent trip to Thailand. We booked it because it was a great hotel right on the river from the pictures and the guest reviews and, thankfully, the reviews were accurate. What we loved about the place? It is a very nice property located on the river, a 5 min ferry ride from the central pier (Tha Sathorn). […] The rooms are huge and are very nicely done with most rooms having a balcony (I believe). The food is good and the breakfast buffet has a generous spread. The hotel has ferry boats running every 15 mins to the central pier from where you can catch an onward ferry to the Grand Palace or take the sky train to the shopping district or other places. The choice of restaurants is limited to a Chinese restaurant on the top floor and a buffet restaurant on the ground floor. The room service is fine for when you come back after having shopped all day and just want to relax in your room with a beer/wine. Overall, a great hotel and I would stay here again if I want to stay on the river in Bangkok. Devamı

Great hotel, with 5 star service for less than nearby major chain hotels. 30m long infinity pool overlooking the river is fantastic. Highly recommended.

This hotel had a great view of the river and the rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was also great, but just make sure your silverware is clean. We were given dirty dishes on several occassions. Also even if you put do not disturb on the door, they will still come in so make sure if you are in the room and hear the […] bell to be prepared for someone to walk in. Devamı

Our stay at the Chatrium was fantastic. I'm so glad we were on the river and away from the craziness of downtown. The complementary water taxi was 2 minutes from the train line and ferry to the Wats. Breakfast was first rate and our 2 bedroom suite was perfect for the family. I miss it already,

we stayed here with our 3 children, great hotel, friendly staff, fab pool, very happy.

Spent 3 nights here. Hotel has a shuttle boat that takes you to the Sky Train in 5 min and the boat runs every 15 min. Once on the Skytrain it takes only 15 min to get to the shopping district. Hotel is great. Food is great. Can only recomend this Hotel.

Affordable and very nice rooms with good very good service

Only stayed at this hotel for 2 nights at the end of our thailand trip! the service was excellent and the room was huge with a lovely river view! Breakfast was lovely each morning and although I didnt get in the pool it looked nice looking down from my balcony! Only downside is the location its a bit out of the way but they offer an excellent boat service […] to a main pier free of charge all day! Devamı

The service was really bad....it took us 20 mins to get check in even though there was no body checking in.... We ordered food at poolside...we waitied for an hour - we were starving like hell! We waited 15 mins for getting seats for the breakfast...Again we waited for the check out...I trusted the comments and thought it was a nice hotel...but i was […] wrong..I'd not recommend to anyone...poor service...The bath tub wasn't clear as well..we bought some bath salt and was planning to have a nice bath but eventually we gave up on that... I got a riverside view. It was amazing view. Gives a great start to the vacation. The hotel ambience is very good. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly. Splendid breakfast. Very good Concierge Service. Stayed 5 nights. Hotel Ferry is there every 15 mins to take you to nearby sky train station. Takes less than 10 mins. […] They skytrain is very easy to commute. I travelled mostly in taxi. It is easy to get a taxi from Hotel with the help of Concierge. But I faced some challenge in getting taxi to the hotel back from tourist / shopping spots. May have to inquire few taxis before u can get one. Stayed there for three nights in May, had a river view room (worth the extra price). The rooms are very big, but somehow most of the room space is not very well utilized - however the interior of the room is very nice with all the usual amneties and of excellent standard. The breakfast buffet is worth mentioning, it takes place at the ground floor overlooking […] the river (with the option of taking it outdoors, weather permitting). The quailty and choice of selections is of the highest standard we've ever encountered. We found the location of the hotel to be well suited to our needs, having it on the riverbank gives it a sense of tranquility (which is needed as Bangkok is chaotic), the river shuttle takes you every 15m to the next skytrain station, as there are very limited selection of places within walking distance. A Starbucks and 7-11 store are on the ground floor of the other two towers, are a real convenience. On the dining front we have a restaurant on the ground floor serving international dishes resonably priced, however the drinks are quite pricey. There is also a chinese restaurant at the top floor, however unless you are chinese you should avoid going there, as they had no knowledge of the english language and most of the dishes are chinese specialities. We were astonished as we were finishing our main course, they turned on the lights, and put out the music - it was evident that the staff wanted to go home as the clock was 10.30. We've never encountered such a behaviour in a restaurant. An the other hand, the service of the staff at the hotel was exceptional, I cannot find any fault, each and every employee did their best at making our stay the most enoyable. Overall we rate this hotel highly and an exceptional value for money. Devamı

at first i thougt the location would be a problem, but turn out we mostly travelled byt taxi anyway in BKK we booked the river view grand city room, the room is spacious and well equipped. the staff was highly attentive. All in all, it was a remarkable stay and we totally enjoyed our stay there

THE MOST COMFORTABLE BED I HAVE EVER SLEPT IN - WONDERFUL. BIG ROOMS, LOTS OF SPACE. BREAKFAST BUFFET WAS EXCELLENT.

Family of 4 arrived very itred and way too early for normal check-in (before 7.00 a.m) but were greated as if they had been waiting for us, and got right away the most incredible 120 sqm suite to 'settle in' ! The space and the standard is awsome (and for the price we got, of about the same as two mediocre rooms elsewhere it's like winning the lottery!..). […] The views from 21st floor is worth the whole trip. Service, food and everything else the whole stay was just fantastic! And for those wandering about the location and getting around: the shuttle-boat goes straight to the hub for everything. The only downside: after the Chatrium stay our rooms in Sydney and Singapore really made us want to go back. Devamı

My wife and I found this hotel very amenable and convenient for exploring Bangkok via the River Chao Phraya. The free ferry to the Sathorn pier was very convenient as you could then either access the sky train or ferry. We used both. The staff were really friendly and the concierge helpful. The rooms have a kitchenette and were adequate. We enjoyed […] eating our breakfast and dinner on the outside eating area beside the busy river. The entertainment and violinist in particular were refreshingly novel. It was excellent value for money.
