Wonderful people, great hotel. Do not reserve a standard room though because they are underground and there is no daylight coming in. We had to negotiate and offer extra cash for a decent room.In the new room, we could see Hagia Sophia, the blue mosque and bosphorus from our balcony. The roof terrace is ace. At the point of my visit it was deserted, but I think in the summer months it would be packed full. It is a wonderful place from which to hear the call to prayer - the chanting coming from all directions. Room-wise, I had one of the "Ferman" rooms and was very pleasantly surprised to find it had a large private terrace. It is […] right next to a train line, but I didn't find the trains ran too frequently, so that was fine. The bathroom had some damp, not visible but possible to smell. The cleaning staff had tried to hid this by spraying room scent in the bathroom on the first day. The room otherwise was in very good condition. I was quite disappointed to find the hotel information was wrong - massage was not available. On the other hand it "could be arranged" by someone the reception staff "knew" for as long as it was cash payment. The same was true for hotel to airport transfer, cash only. I did book this, and was pleased with the service - especially the pick up from the airport which was very efficient. However my friend booked a shuttle bus service at one of the local shops and got to the return to the airport safely at a fifth of the price. The immediate area holds masses of restaurants and tourist trinket shops. I would not recommend it for anyone wanting to experience "the real Istanbul" but for the tourists sites, it is nothing short of perfect. Devamı

The Ferman hotel is a convenient and nice boutique hotel. Easy walk to Blue Mosque etc but also the tram, to take you to other parts of the city. Plenty of nearby shops, restaurants and bars, but overall area remaining quiet (unlike the Taksim area) The staff were all exceptionally helpful and friendly, nothing seemed too much trouble and always a welcoming […] smile. Good value for money. Please note, It is near a trainline which doesn't bother us but may some people. My only suggestion to the hotel is, they could make the breakfast look more apealling, and have variety of fresh produce to better suit the guests. Plates of cheeses, spams etc left out for a few hours look pretty sad and dried up. ( Maybe I shoud have got up earlier :0) But the choc fountain, coloured beads and fake flowers make it all very tacky- unlike the rest of the hotel and rooms, which are very tasteful. Finally a very nice Hotel for a reasonable price. I have seen many of this Sultanhmet hotels and this is definitively the one I like most. A mix between modern and Turkish style, very clean, wifi avlb in the room for free and a PC at disposal at reception. Very close to the Mosques. Only negative point is railway passing behind the hotel.

The Ferman Hotel Istanbul is a little jewel boutique hotel. They upgraded us. Spoke English quite well. The roof has a strategic panaramic view of the Blue Mosque (so close) and the Haghia Sofia. The streets here are narrow, and lined with Swiss mountain like boutique hotels. Walking on the cobblestone streets with sidewide cafes offering many things […] to eat. It's a long walk to the Grand Bazaar, but it's worth it with all the shops.. This area is the place to be in Istanbul. If you are savvy to learn the streetcars, they are modern and can take you from the Grand Bazaar, to this hotel area, and to the Golden Horn port area. There are many travel shops offering Bosphorus trips, museum, palace, quick trips to the Asian side, and even on into additional sites withing Turkey. You could start here and book the rest of your Turkey expience from here without having to do it in advance. Devamı

Cute and clean hotel. Very friendly desk manager, who was amazingly considerate about my stay in Istanbul. The location was excellent for seeing the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. The neighborhood was safe with a nice selection of shops and restaurants. Minor drawback: the neighborhood had a lot of international tourists e.g. I didn't see many restaurants […] filled with Turks doing their thang. It was mainly tourists relaxing. But, given the safety, location, and cleanliness, I think many visitors would be fine with the trade-offs. Final comment about being in Istanbul - getting around it is HELLISH. A wonderful city. A big city. Tons to do and see. Great people. But, good lord, pure misery to get around. Devamı

The front desk staff are amazingly helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and beautiful. The breakfast is just OK. The Ferman is in a great location to see the tourist sights of Istanbul. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel, great location. the Reception was very friendly. the breakfast was on the roof with great views of the sea and the Mosques. the breakfast had a lot of variety and was delicious. the rooms are very spacious and kept very clean and tidy. the FREE internet was a definite plus point. Watched world cup with locals. There is so much around. Shopping very good. Everyone very friendly.Did not have enough time to explore everything but will return to same hotel again soon.

Vår vistelse på Ferman hotel var av oss mycket uppskattad. Väldigt trevlig personal och fräscha eleganta rum. Allt var till största belåtenhet förutom frukost buffén som var aningen "tunn" dvs inte så mycket att välja på. Vi känner ändå att vi klart skulle välja detta hotel igen om vi återvänder till Istanbul. Ett stort plus till den stora, sköna sängen!! […] :)) Devamı

１週間の滞在で、日本の３階にあたるフロアのブルーモスク側、フェルマンズ・ダブル・ルームにずっと泊まっていました。毎朝カーテンを開けるとそこにはブルーモスクの美しい姿が。部屋は落ち着ける雰囲気でゆったりとしています。シンプルながらもソファーやベッドはしっかりしていて、リラックスできました。バスルームも清潔にお掃除が行き届いています。 何よりこのホテルのよいところは、スタッフの皆様です。温かくて親切で、プロとして控えめな方々ばかりで、いつもにこやかに対応してくださいました。 歩いて行ける範囲に観光スポットが密集していますので、半日ごとに帰ってきてお昼寝をすることも可能です。ただ、イスタンブールのくねくねした道のクセがわからない最初は、ホテルの場所を見つけるのがちょっと難しいかもしれません。最初だ […] けタクシーか何かをお勧めします。一度場所がわかってしまえば、散策がとても楽しいところです。お散歩などで町並みを満喫できます。 長期滞在してもストレスを感じない、くつろぎの宿です。 Devamı

Stort rom og hyggelig betjening. Rensligheten i rommet var ok. Hotellet ligger helt inntil jernbanen, og denne hører du godt hvis du har vinduet oppe. Vi opplevde ikke dette som plagsomt da togene ikke begynner å gå før litt utpå dagen. Frokosten var veldig dårlig, men dårlig utvalg og veldig lite å drikke. De fylte heller ikke på med mindre du ba de […] eksplisitt om det. Hvis du er ute etter et litt rimelig hotell sentralt på Sulthanamet og kan leve med noen små ubehageligheter er dette et fint hotell. Devamı

Udmærket hotel, værelserne lever fint op til Standarden. Belligenheden perfekt for de historiske sights i Istanbul. Morgenmaden levede dog på ingen måder op til standarden - den samme buffet 3 dage i træk, æg kogt til ukendelighed med sørgerand. En anden bruger nævner at der kører et tog bag hotellet - det gør der, men ikke om natten og det har på ingen […] måde forstyrret vores nattesøvn. Devamı

We stayed in Istanbul for only one day and hence wanted to be close to all the main sights. Fermin hotel was a great choise. The location was superb, room was large and comfortable and the service was good! We had requested the hotel to provide transport from and to the airport, an extra bed for our child and in addition we requested upon our arrival […] late check-out. Everything was arranged perfectly and thgis run very smoothly. We we very happy with our stay and plan to go again! Devamı

Hotellet ligger meget praktisk og komfortabelt til ved Den blå moske og øvrige severdigheter i Istanbul. Betjeningen er meget elskverdig og serviceinnstilt. Rommet vårt var stort med flott utsikt. Bygningen generelt var godt vedlikeholdt og alt fungerte . Det eneste minus var at badet var litt kaldt da vi ikke fant noe varmekilde.

Friendly service, very comfortable bed and room, well situated (very close all the sites to see), breakfast buffet is not huge but is OK (except fruit juice wich taste not good at all), very clean, wifi internet working well, very good bathroom. Only negative point is the noise : water noise, noise from the other rooms, noise from outside (train, but […] not too much during the night). Anyway, price/quality ratio is very good. Very nice hotel situated in the center of Istanbul. What you do not know before checking in is that a railway is passing by few meters from the hotel with heavy trafic from early morning to late evening.The rooms in the hotel are very nice decorated, with nice furnitures, minibar - I looked after the housecoat, but I only found the slippers. The promised […] internet was not working (no IP adress available). The breakfast wich was included was okay - dried fruit, cheese, toast, hardboild egg and tea or coffe and fresh juice - the first morning I was a little late with the breakfast - and compared with the second morning water was added in the juice on the first breakfast.
