Acacia Suites - Barselona

Stayed for a five night family vacation. Our room for three was very nice with a king bed and sofa bed. Efficiency kitchen with dishes and silverware and cookware. Compact refrigerator. Very well located in Eixample neighborhood one block from metro station. Easy walk to many restaurants and the Passieg Gracia or upper part of the Rambla Cataluna. However […] the BEST was the service of the front desk. Whatever the request they were ceaseless in their efforts to please and accommodate. Information, directions, recommendations for eating and transportation, ticketing. The staff could not do enough for us. This is service that is rare to find in the amenities industry: a true personal touch. My family can heartily recommend the Acacia Suites for a Barcelona vacation. The only negative for some is that it is not located directly on Plaza Cataluna or the Rambla but if you want a quieter neighborhood, with a local feel it is a very nice place. Devamı

The Acacia Suites provided exactly what we were looking for. Our suite was spacious and very well maintained, the location of the hotel was convenient for access to shops, restaurants and attractions (yet in a quiet, safe neighbourhood) and the staff were uniformly helpful and polite. We were able to walk to La Rambla, the Gothic Quarter and the port, […] but there was also a metro stop on the same block as the hotel if we didn't want the exercise. We would highly recommend this hotel for the fine balance it provided between cost and quality. Devamı

We love (almost) everything about our stay at Aparthotel Acacia; the staff was so wonderful--they went out of their way to help us with whatever we needed. The location is absolutely terrific--it's steps away from the Metro (which is the most efficient subway system I've encountered--trains every three minutes), and the neighborhood is just lovely. […] We had the most amazing meals in a variety of places just blocks away from the hotel--I could go on and on...When we make it back to Barcelona, I won't stay anywhere else. The only thing worth sharing is that the beds are VERY firm--that's very typical for Europe, but it's worth noting. We left a suggestion with the hotel that they offer foam mattress pads (we took the mattress of the sleeper sofa and placed it on top of the regular mattress--I slept like a baby after that). We chose this hotel because of the good reviews and we were not disappointed. The customer care from the reception staff was first class and they could not do enough for us. The rooms were large and spacious and very clean. Only criticism the beds were rather hard. Housekeeping was absoluely superb We had to ask for a kettle at reception (fair enough) […] but it was the "boil on the hob" kind not an electric kettle so did take a while to heat. The location was very central and close to a Touristic bus stop for two different routes. I would certainly recommend this hotel Devamı

Not a fours star hotel.

Well located, good quality accommodation with helpful staff.

The hotel is located in a lovely residential neighborhood, filled with cafes and restaurants. We saw very few tourists and began to get a sense of what it's like to live in Barcelona. The Hospital Clinic metro stop is steps from the hotel and the metro is easy to use. The concierges all spoke English and were very helpful. Most area restaurants had […] some English on the menus. The regular room is a great size for a couple, with a sitting area and tiny kitchette and table. You could put a child on the sofa but probably no one much older. The bathroom was big enough for us to hang a few washed clothes. (The hotel advertises a laundry service but you can buy new clothes for what they charge/piece.) Previous reviews had not liked the breakfast so we didn't try it. The place was very clean. We had a room with windows that faced the backs of other buildings. It wasn't very scenic but it was quiet, which was more important. US citizens: They supply some liquid soap for the shower but no shampoo or body lotion, like in US hotels. Remember to leave the key in the slot near the door to activate the electricity and to angle the shower door in so it doesn't drip on the floor. Devamı

Fin lägenhet, fräsch och ren. Pentry med äldre plattor och lite utrustning. För litet för att laga mat i men OK för frukost och fika. Hårda sängar. Stort badrum med badkar. Hiss. 24 timmars reception. Vänlig personal som informerade om hur man tog sig fram, erbjöd att få låna paraply. Blev dock lurade av en personal som påstod att ett evenemang var […] en tid men då vi kom fram var det slut. Kostade tid, ork och pengar med taxi i onödan. Påstod sen att evenemanget även var dagen efter men det stämde ej heller. Surt. Erbjöd oss att lagra bagaget, Bra! Devamı

good location.clean, confortable.

Me and my wife were looking for a comfortable, clean aparthotel on the metro so that we could reach any place in Barcelona easily. Acacia is perfectly clean, reception staff very friendly and helpful, air conditioning is quiet, window glass are soundproof. The suite can divided into a living room )kitchenette and bedroom. The fridge and the electric […] cooker allow you to fix breakfast or a simple meal. We missed toaster and kettle. I would also prefer an undivided double bed instead of two beds side to side. These are really minot complaints, there is free wifi, beds are comfortable and the hotel is very, very clean. We enjoyed our stay in Barcelona tremendously. If you prefer to use public transport from the airport, you can do so - take the triain to Sants and then change to blue L5 line, (direction Valle d'Hebron) get of at Hospital Clinic station, exit Comte DÚrgell. You can use escalators and lifts and you have to walk 100 metres from the metro to the hotel. It costs peanuts compared to taxi drivers who can be diffiicult in Barcelona. Karel Czech Republic. Välskött hotell. Mycket bra bemötande av personalen. Fick hjälp med det vi frågade om. Läget inte det mest spännande, men närheten till tunnelbanan räddade oss. Ca 100 m till Stationen Hospital Clinic. Använder man den välskötta tunnelbanan ligger hela staden för dina fötter.

Très bon hotel. Chambres spacieuses et très propre. Hotel très bien insonorisé et très calme. La réception est très efficace et parle plusieurs langues (Anglais, Espagnol, Francais). Les chambres sont impeccables chaque jour. La station de métro à 100 mètre de l’hôtel est très pratique pour se déplacer en ville. Seul bémol, l’hôtel ne possédant pas […] de restaurant, il propose un room service pour des repas ou des petits déjeunés assez onéreux. Mais le coin cuisine des chambres, avec table de cuisson et réfrigérateur, permet de compenser. Le quartier est assez calme le soir, mais possède plusieurs restaurants et bars à tapas très sympas et très bon marché. Devamı

Ren og bra hotel, med god service, et lite stykke unna la rambla, men bli kjent med metro'en så blir ikke det noe problem, fryktelig dårlig utsikt fra vindue, men kan ikke klage på det storfornøyd;)
