Downstairs to the hotel, we ate in the What If?and it was incredible. Expensive but worth it. In the evening, we came to relax and sleep, the workers or guests (not sure which) were outside of our hotel room window drunk and loud and did not quiet until after 9 pm. We had an early morning so that was upsetting. The room did not include caf coffee only […] packets of decaf and the breakfast was out of coffee by 8 am. Nothing special. Was not impressed with the breakfast offered. Most of the time there was nobody at the front desk. When there was, was not very professional.

The only thing we didn't like was the noise through the walls. This was probably because the building seemed to be older and didn't have enough insulation between the walls. The bed was super comfortable. The staff did an excellent job of replenishing breakfast items. Everything else was pretty much what would be expected.

Hotel was good, fast service and clean rooms.

Found this hotel to be very nice and the rooms are very comfortable. The location was very close to all hershey attractions.

This hotel was clean and right on the main drag, close to everything!!

The Hampton is just next door, and there's a brand new Best Western right in town. We wanted to try the highly rated "What If" restaurant that is on-site. What-If wasn't bad (see separate review) but this HoJo's is just another tired, mediocre, tourist motel that seems to be getting by on the least it can do. Run the hot water 20 minutes before it arrives […] (fix your circulating pump). You know the drill; paper-thin towels, rust-spots on the tissue dispensers in the bathroom, beds with mattresses that should have been replaced five years ago. And we had one of the "new" rooms. Went to check out at 10:30--- not a soul in sight at the desk. Left the keys and good riddance. We were one of few guests in the whole place. Very well satisfied, didn't try restaurant but looked good. Good value for the money.

We were there for only a night and it was alright. I guess you get what you pay for, The carpet was not vacuumed and that bothered me. Besides that everything was fine. The breakfast is not great but again, you get what you pay for.

For the price we paid, it was a comfortable stay.

My room was perfectly clean and looked like it had been recently remodeled. The room was narrow, but there was plenty of space. Plenty of modern amenities (fridge, micro, flat screen with over 50 channels!). Our room opened to the street and the hallway which was nice since we were parked right outside. It was close to the road, so I'm sure it would […] have been a bit loud if we didn't bring a white noise machine. All the little things were done right: the shower head was high on the wall, there were extra towels in the bathroom. plenty of pillows. The AM breakfast was a little meager, but the breakfast space was as nice as any I've ever been in. In the basement of the hotel is a great restaurant called "What If..." It's not for kids, but was a classy place for adults. Really fun fancy drinks and upscale food. I can easily recommend this hotel as a place for adults to stay. Devamı

Nice people,clean but small rooms and didn't like the 2:30 am prank phone call to both my rooms, can't beat the price!

I was really surpised how clean and updated this hotel was. i would recommend this to anyone who wants a place to stay in Hershey. Friendly staff too. Only thing is i would stay on second floor, first floor had 2 doors. one to hotel inside and one to street, did not like the second, but that is just a personal preference

I had the same day booking. I'm glad to find cheaper one on the same day. The hotel is clean and staffs are nice.

The room was extremely small and the carpet wasn't vacuumed well. The heating and AC worked well. The shower was ok. The toilet paper holder kept falling off of the wall because it wasn't screwed on well. The microwave and fridge worked well. I couldn't eat anything at the breakfast because there wasn't anything gluten free. I thought thru might have […] eggs but they only had bagels and cereal. The bed was pretty comfortable. I only spent one night here, but it was clean and right in the heart of Hershey. I was a little leary because the price was so cheap. I was pleasantly surprised. I would definitely stay here again.

I have no complaints about this hotel. I would stay again and would recommend others to stay here as well. There was nothing spectacular about this Howard Johnson but I do not go on vacation to stay in my hotel room. The place was clean and comfortable enough and that is the bare minimum of what I expect at a hotel to keep me happy. The restaurant that […] is in this hotel is spectacular though. We only stayed one night and ate dinner there. I would give the restaurant five stars as the food was just that good. But you do not have to stay at the hotel to eat at the restaurant so my rating of the hotel did not include what I thought about the restaurant. Devamı

Eceptional for the price....

I only stayed here for one night while bringing my sister to visit a college in nearby Elizabethtown, but I could have stayed in this hotel multiple nights it was so clean and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and informative about the surrounding area. The restaurant in the hotel is absolutely phenomenal, which was a pleasant surprise, […] they have a great drink menu and their meals are absolutely delicious and the presentation and atmosphere is very enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Hershey area! Devamı

The hotel was nice, and the room was clean. The service at the front desk was inattentive and unprofessional. The layout of the hotel buildings is strange.

for the price of the room everything was better then expected clean and friendly

I stayed here one night with my family. It was close to all the Hershey attractions. Our room was a deluxe room with 2 queen beds. The beds had newer pillow top mattresses and were very comfortable. The room also had a microwave, coffee pot, and refrigerator. The 37 inch flat screen TV was also nice. The continential breakfast was adequate and had enough […] choices. I just needed a cheap place to sleep and shower and with a nice cheap rate staying at the HoJo was a great deal. The room was clean and relatively modern. Bathroom was a little small but served all my needs. Unless I could find an even better deal I would stay there again for sure.

If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay for a reasonable price, this is it. Continental Breakfast was very good. Room was clean and neat. Staff was friendly and helpful. It isn't the Ritz, but it worked for us.

I would highly recommend this hotel. It was very clean and very convenient. The ceiling are a bit thin we could hear bumping around upstairs. Even though it said that it did not include breakfast it did offer a pretty typical continental breakfast.

It seemed that the low cost through hotels.com will get you a room in the older building. They have a newer building but not for the low deal price. The room was clean and every thing worked but quite noisey. The heater unit crackeled all night and the traffic noise was quite loud. Ok if you are a heavy sleeper.

This HoJo is very close to the Hershey attractions and food. Our room was neat, clean and had the softest beds I have ever slept on. They were like beds you'd sleep on at a 5 star hotel. And they gave you 2 queen size beds, not just 2 doubles. They have a place to eat downstairs which is kind of pricy but worth it. The only complaint I would have is […] that the free breakfast in the morning is lacking, very small and not enough to go around. But I thought this was an excellent place to stay for the money...will stay here next time we are in town! Devamı

It's close to Hershey Outlet, Hershey Park and other attractions. Clean, quiet. I've stayed there twice, and will stay again next year.

The hotel was located within minutes of the Giant Arena on the Hershey grounds and was also near the outlet shops as well as local establishments which were located right down the street. The hotel was clean and quiet with spacious rooms. would recommend this hotel to others who would want to stay near Hershey park.

The Inn was quiet, clean and perfect for a place to sleep and relax so the family can take advantage off all of the attractions that Hershey has! Very close to All of the attractions. They also have a complimentary breakfast which was good and have a restaurant on site. We would use again. Thank you.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and had a wonderful experience and so I didn't think twice when booking a reservation for a return trip to Hershey. The rooms are a bit small but super clean and modern(flat screen TV and no tacky comforters on the bed). This time however it was the noise. From about 10PM till about midnight of my stay, it sounded […] like a frat party going on. Between my floor and the one above there were children and adults literally running down the hallways screaming and laughing, running into and out of each others rooms. I called the front desk twice and all they did was tell the people to keep it down. Which they completely ignored. I felt more should have been done. When asked when checking out how my stay was, I mentioned this and all the girl could say was 'Yeah, a lot of people complained." Devamı

I had tickets to see a show on a Sunday night at Hershey Theater and did not want to drive over 2 hours home so I stayed at this hotel and it was perfect. The continental breakfast was poor but the coffee was hot and thats all I needed. The hotel is old but very clean and comfortable rooms. I would stay there again.
