Microtel Inn and Suites Baton Rouge - Baton Rouge

We didn't actually stay. I walked in, took one look at the room and bathroom and we left. The entire hotel is run down and filthy. I would not have let my worst enemy stay in that hovel!!!!

Hotel is adequate, if you are looking for low rates and a short stay. Construction in progress. Room clean, but had stains on ceiling and door off closet. Hallway carpet dirty. Not a 3 star hotel.

the cleanliness of the room was flithy. The microwave wasnt wiped down, there was soda residue on the counter, cruumps left in the seating area, and hair left inside the vanity area.

....the day we left the hotel was totally awesome. in the first room, there were bedbugs everywhere and a broken crack pipe. in the second room there were roaches and a weed pipe. if someone were to give me a voucher for a free week totally free, there's no way on earth i would stay there. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

First the pictures are a lie! This place is a shack! I did not get cleaning service and I left the hotel before 9 am nor did i get fresh towels (so I had to go buy some) The room stunk someone was smoking marijuana down the hall because I could smell it as I walked by. My room smelled like feet. The couch had 4 cigarette burns in it. The bathroom sink had brown fluid splattered everywhere. The manager was nice enough to upgrade us to nicer suite.......but not without charging extra!

Rooms were good but customer service was horrible.

Upon arrival at the hotel which was I was supposed to be getting a queen suite with whirlpool, I learned that they did not have these kinds of room at all at the hotel. The rooms definitely did not look like the pictures. The hotel cleaning staff did not speak English. Awful hotel. Do not recommend.

My friends and I needed a clean, convenient, cheap hotel for our weekend road trip. Although we weren't in the hotel much it was fine for what we needed. Clean rooms and friendly staff. The hotel was right off the interstate and surrounded by stores and fast-food which was perfect for our fly by night vaca.

curtons were dirty the ice machine was unplugged we had i bed a i cowtch with no sheets and when we asked they only gave us 1 pillow.

The hotel was great. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms were clean & the staff was very nice & helpful. I would recommend this hotel!

The Micro-tel was in poor condition. It was not clean and our ac did not cool! We put do not disturb but cleaning crew came in and took bath map but did not replace dirty towels.

The hotel service is so blunt. Only one person on staff. They threw away my food that I had not eatin yet when room service came to my room. Its not the worst I've had, but they could do a lot better.

Room had carpet pulling up, holes in furniture, doors of furniture broken off. No iron or ironing board. Burn holes on toilet.

The manager on duty barely spoke English. The mattresses were very old, creaky, and uncomfortable.

The hotel is nice from the outside. However, the bed was very uncomfortable and the fridge made so much noise that we had to unplug it to sleep.

The man that checked us in was very nice, and the lobby looked very clean. Then we went into the room. The cover over both beds had many stains on them, did not look washed in awhile. Then when went into bathroom, at least twenty hairs on floors and counter behind toilet. Floors had not been cleaned at all. I stay at hotels for business about ten days […] a month, this is the dirtiest room I have ever been in. And the breakfast was dry cereal. Devamı

the room service was poor. The room was not made up unless we called. we also requested to have a tub stopper installed in the bath tub since it was missing upon checkin. this never happened after asking twice and during our 5 day stay. the room had numerous issues like carpet coming up, smelled horrible, and the tv was something from the 70's.

Rooms clean but very small, burn holes in cushions and curtins not attached. Do not expect your reservations to be what you reserved. I in no way recomend this hotel, however my dog may enjoy this hotel.

You get what you pay for. Well thats the exact thing in with this hotel. We thought cool we stayed at Microtel before and they were awesome, but not this one. The front desk staff was somewhat nice from what we could understand him say. We open the door to the room and OMG the most horrible smell for a hotel ever. It smelled like mold bad. We attempted […] to call the front desk but yep you guessed it the phone did not work. You had to hold the cord into the receiver so that it would not fall out. So we were all tired and just decided to see if we could stick it one night. We took a bath and the towel used to dry off had blood stains all over it. The vent in the bathroom did not work. The toliet paper holder is approximately five feet across from the toilet in the bathroom, so when you needed paper you basically had to stand up to get it. The tub was dirty and there were several left over hairs that had not been cleaned. The bathroom tiles were black in between them. So we finally get to sleep. There was about three trains that woke me up through out the night and oh yea the Saturday morning trash truck at about 5am, which apparently his friend works at the hotel because he just had to blow his horn. I woke up with a headache and packed up everything. We got the room for two nights but i decided that I could not stay in a hotel this nasty for another night. I sucked it up as a loss on my end and walked up front and talked to the clerk. I told him that I could not stay here another night and wanted an early checkout. He did not ask the reason or anything, no customer service skills what so ever, and just said okay. I stormed out the hotel off to my destination. I will NEVER, EVER stay at this hotel again and strongly encourage anyone looking at this one not to stay here as well. Thanks. Devamı

Rooms are not as they appear on the website. This hotel is very old and outdated. The carpets are very stained, the walls have patch jobs all over the place, and the smell was overwhelming.

The room was comfortable however the bathroom needed updating to replace old tub and countertops that appear worn and aged. Other than that I had no issues with this hotel.

Not the best location but for 1 male on business, not a problem. Room was nice but on the small side. Breakfast was fine, but if you need restaurants near, don't stay here. Away from everything except Cracker Barrel.

Worth the price I paid for the room.
