Listel Shinjuku Hotel Tokyo - Tokyo

Very very limited English speaking staff. No English channels, Japanese only.

Great hotel - problem was the address took us to the wrong location using google maps. The area looks like an industrial estate - but not far from the Shinjuku-Gyeon metro line which was good. Along with the Gyeon park which looked beautiful with all the cherry blossoms. Unfortunately - no wifi in the rooms. And the bathroom was a little dirty. Not glamourous, but a good, clean, no frills place to get some sleep. Very convient access to the Shinjuku Ni-Chome neighborhood, and the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden.

Get what you pay for. Room was small and dated but cozy. Bed was not comfortable (have you ever seen a beautifully dressed bed in a department store, been enticed to sit on it, and upon doing so realized the 'bed' was actually a wooden box? It felt like that). Staff were friendly. The main reason I would not stay here again, though, is it really is […] a long and uncomfortable hike from Shinjuku station and any subway stops. this hotel is conveniently located in the lively area of Shinjuku. The room was clean, pretty and spacy with free wifi. Quite pricy however,unless you find a deal like I did (4 nights for the price of 4)

The hotel is within walking distance to Shinjuku gyoemmae station on the Marunouchi Line - subway is easy to use and one can get anywhere with transfers. Hotel neighborhood is a bit downtrodden but the hotel itself was fine. Staff were pleasant, restaurant on site was adequate, rooms clean. We were there right after the earthquake of March, 2011. Hotel was a bit far from the Shinjuku JR station. Best way to get there is to catch the subway to "Shinjukugyoenmae" subway station (2 stops from Shinjuku). Follow the exit signs at the station, I think it was exit 1. Once you exit the station, cross the road, walk up about 7 blocks (until you reach the big intersection), cross the road and keep walking […] straight, then turn right at the small intersection. You should see Tokyo Business Hotel on the left, keep walking further up and Listel is located on the right hand side. Hotel was about 15-20 min walk to the main Shinjuku area, there are shops and restaurants along the way. Devamı

the title says it all - nothing like its sister hotel in Vancouver Canada. Dirty, stained bedding and very tiny.

Close to train stations, minutes to Shinjuko train terminal by bus. Close to other amenities and places of interest.

駅からかなり遠かった。 狭いとわかっていたが、ホテル入口の雑多な感じが嫌でしたが、部屋の中は十分でした。 駅から、もう少し近いとよかったのに、。

步行約10分鐘可至地下鐵 離新宿商圈步行約15分鐘 附近有吉野家 飯店內設備齊全 乾淨

L’hôtel est un peu excentré de la station de métro mais ce n'est qu'à 10mn à pied max donc normal vu la ville. Chambre petite mais je crois que c'est le standard la bas pour ce genre d’hôtel, télé 32pouces, mais il y a un canapé qui est pratique lorsque vous avez des invités de dernière minute.

I Tokyo er det svært at være langt fra noget som helst, men 15-20 minutters gå-gang er alligevel lidt for meget for mig at bære. Da jeg ankom kunne de ikke finde min reservation, og de var meget forvirrede over min ankomst, men efter det var der ikke noget galt med servicen. De snakkede oven i købet engelsk! Jeg elsker Shinjuku, især fordi det er et […] område med meget natteliv, men det betyder også, at det ikke er her et oplagt sted for en familie-ferie. Japanerne referer til Shinjuku som det "farlige område", men personligt har jeg ikke haft nogen som helst grund til at føle mig utilpas. Hvis man bare leder efter et billigt sted at bo, så er det dog ikke dårligt - jeg ville bare have foretrukket det lidt tættere på stationen. Shin-okubo, Korean Town, ligger også kun ca. 30 minutter nordvest for hotellet og er en fantastisk oplevelse! :) Devamı

Rent, fräscha rum. Nära till shopping, barer, restauranger m.m. Lugnt kvarter.

Trevligt hotell där man kan få en mycket bra utsikt över Tokyo om man hamnar högt upp. Personalen talar dock ingen engelska
