After 3 weeks I came back to Sol Y Mar and I was very satisfy again. I'm looking forward to come back again.

Just came back from my first visit to Egypt with my husband, we stayed for one week. The weather was quite warm in the day but at night cold due to this being winter. The last two days the weather was great. We ate at wonderful restaurants, Thai, home food, and even McDs. Smoked Sheesha, went to other hotels and had use of the beach which was wonderful, […] and a good time in the hot tub! Overall we had a wonderful holiday, visited Luxor, and experienced the valley of the Kings, drove a speed boat, and did the desert safari, great fun.. would bring the kids next time, because at this hotel there is lots for the kids to do with food and slides, activities to keep the little one's occupied all day, whilst you relax and enjoy. The staff at Sol Y Mar made us feel looked after. We had breakfast only which was good, and with good choice. I am definately going back. Devamı

Great place to stay. New, good service and clean. But i do think there was bedbugs at 104.

Hotel itself was good; clean, well maintained and staff/ service very good. The location is ok, but there isn't much around and we couldn't find a way to get to the beach. The time of year (late Jan) was quiet so there isn't much to do in the area. In saying that, the main town centre is only a 10 min bus ride away. The food at the restaurant is terrible […] (and I'm not a fussy eater!) so I'd recommend the large cafe garden next door or go into town or the marina to eat. If you ask the hotel to book you a taxi, ask the driver the price in front of the hotel staff because they will always charge you more than the hotel say they will. Devamı

Good value for money, ample space. If you want internet, do not beleive you will have it in your room, unless you are in 1st floor. The corner room 102 at the pool can avail you partly with internet, but there is a neighbour house with a lot of noise from playing children up to late evenings. Advised to draw a map with all details, taxi drivers have […] a severe problem to find the place. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Access to Aquamarine Blue hotel will take you 10 minutes + by taxi (or free shuttle bus) - and you pay 5 EUR for the access. It is definately worth it...... Devamı

The hotel is nice , the suite full equipped with kitchen and living room , Breakfast is very nice , price is so good

A great place for independent travellers. A lounge with yv and balcony, a bedroom, a kuitchen with all that is required to cook and a bathroom, and the apartment overlooks the pool. Free wifi available 24 hours a day. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. If there is a problem it is dealt with immediately. The bar is well equipped. the only negative […] is the rstaurant. The food is very boring and the breakfast is the same each day.But I will stay there again as it duits my lifestyle. Devamı

Excellent accommodation for those who like to be independent and do their own cooking. The staff are great, the rooms clean, the pool is in a good location, scrupulously cleran and the hotel is well maintained. If there is a oproblem they send someone to fix it immediastely. Staff are very helpful and do all they can to please. Wifi is free but in reception […] and around the pool area only as the signal is we4ak in the rooms. But it provides an opportunity to meet the othe4 guests who are going on line. . It is easy to get to the airport and to town and taxis are very cheap. The only negative comment I have is the standard of food, but as breakfast is free, as there are good eating places close by and as I can cook for myself, this is no big deal. Clearly, the investors in this hotel have spent a lot of money on construction and furnishings and don't intend to lose out by poor maintenance. The reception is attractive and spotless. The receptionist, Mahmoud, could not have been more helpful. From chefs to waiters and groundstaff, all were polite and very friendly. The manager is a charming chap. […] The room - more like a flat - was immaculate and decorations are of good taste. Food is well prepared to order and can be taken at the room's dining table if required. I chose this hotel because it is near the airport but I never heard an aircraft. The bottom line is that this establishment is staggering value. I'm booked back there for three days this month. Trust me, you can't go wrong by staying at the Sol Y Mar. Devamı

All the staff are always very friendly. It is very good to relax, because always it is very quiet. The rooms are very nice furnished and comfortable.

Friendly, claen, large room / suite and very affordable. Great location for the airport, a 10 minute walk into town, recommend the Lebonese restaurant just down the street. Need to have things to do like divuing as pools limited.

I stayed in this huge, new, beautiful suite that included living/dining room, separate kitchen and bedroom for an unbelievely low price. A nice, extensive breakfast was included. The pool area was very nice, the staff wonderful. It was in more of a residentual area, but beach was walking distance as was a major resort/shopping area. I chose to walk […] back and forth and it took about 10 minutes. A taxi to beach, airport or town was reasonable (around $2-4). I felt for all the amenities it was an amazing deal and look forward to returning.. Devamı

the best value for the money you can get, the rooms are actually a suite , its a 42 something suites, you have a bed room a living room with LCD & A/C a kitchen/clean pool BUT very small, a already know this was not a big problem

For the price, this was amazing. A full apartment, really, with a fridge, two rooms. Quite nice. The only downside is that there is not much in the neighborhood. For dinner every night I walked about 1/2 mile to the area near the Siva hotel.

Det var veldig fint opplevelse å bo der. Jeg skal komme tilbake, det er sikkert.

Cet hotel a un rapport qualité-prix exceptionnel. Personnel aimable et compétent. Nous le recommandons vivement.

Jeg har bodd litt rundt i hurghada og hvis man ikke vil høre trafikk å bråk, Da er Sol Y Mar suits hotel topp, super service,fine rom,god mat, jeg anbefaler det! Min neste tur blir der igjen.

Personeel was voorkomend en beleefd. Maar ook geïnteresseerd zoals het is in Egypte, waar kom je vandaan, hoe heet je, wat doe je, etc. etc. Als alleenstaande vrouw van 69 heb ik een ring gedragen en gezegd dat ik getrouwd was, voor eigen bescherming en van gezeur af te zijn. En super service fra personale hele tiden. Alltid blide og serviceminded. En upåklagelig rengjøring.Virkelig topp! Meget god og variert frokostbuffet som tilog med er inkludert i leilighetsprisen.

Stor lägenhet, mycket gott om utrymme. Ok möblerat. Frukosten godkänd. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Dåligt läge långt från både centrum och hav , men det kompenseras med ett mycket billigt pris. Utmärkt och billig bussförbindelse utanför hotellet in till centrum. Bussarna går hela tiden. Swimmingpoolen/solplatsen låg det mesta av dagen i skugga, […] så den användes inte nämnvärt. Hotellet har avtal med 2 st strandhotell så att man för en billig penning kan använda deras stränder och swimmingpoolar. Det är bra. Det finns några offentliga badstränder i Hurgada, men dom är inte helt lätta att hitta. Om ett billigt pris är viktigare än ett bra läge så kan jag verkligen rekommendera detta hotell! Devamı

En vistelse som innehöll alla de krav jag ställde på hotellet efter att ha sökt på nätet och "Billiga Hotell Hurghada" Att det inte låg vid stranden visste jag. Livlig trafik på gatan utanför ej störande. Frukosten superb om ej överdrivet stor. Hade frukost inkl. och åt bara några gånger dinner menu. Dyr och enkel och smaklös. Men hotellets läge med […] många rest. på gångavstånd löste detta. Personalen mycket trevlig och servicebenägen och rummet städades och sängen bäddades på bästa sätt. Ett jättebra alternativ för ett billigt boende, två rum och pentry ingick. Poolen sköttes perfekt och solen som strålade dagligen var ju gratis. Devamı

veldig koselig hotel og hotelstab-okay frokost også:) vi angret på at vi ikke hadde bestilt hele uka på hotelet.

Hôtel très confortable et calme, mais éloigné de la Mer Rouge. Personnel très chaleureux mais ne parle pas le français (ou vraiment 3 mots). Petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Piscine de petite taille. Je recommande cet hôtel.

Tres bon petit dejeuner, personnel avenant et discret

Alt man trenger i Hurghada. Rimelig og godt boalternativ. Hyggelig personale, nydelige leiligheter.Ikke strand. Men 5 min og et par dollar med taxi til strendene. Kan anbefales.

Really nice hotel. The staff is excellent, eccept for language comprehension. I asked about the weather and got the current time in reply. Close to a major shopping street and access to a great resort included.

The first thing thats meets you in Ivory is a nice staff in a very nice lobby with your welcome drink. They take all your bags to your room and they will do everything to please you 100% .its a quite new hotel and its 5min from the air port. The room is big and 100% clean and if you have any problems the staff will help you! there is wireless internett, […] a nice resturant, pool area,bar, everything you want and need can you get at ivory! its 10min by taxi from "down Town" the only thing we notised was that no taxi drivers knows where it is coz the hotel is so new. Great hotel ca 1 km away from airport, town-centre, beach & "tourist-machine". Spacious suites, tiled and very clean. Hotel has airconditioning, balconies, 2 swimming pools, the beach or town-centre just a short walk/taxi-ride away.
