Auberge de l'Aiguebrun - Bonnieux

We were only able to stay here one night at the end of a long driving day, but it was a nice/typical French boutique hotel and we enjoyed the time we had. It was already dark when we arrived, but we made our way to a “chalet” (one of the four “cottages”, on the stream, a short walk from the main building). Not much lighting there! But the chalets are […] adorable and comfortable and we slept REALLY well. The restaurant is well-known for its food, but we were too late for dinner so instead just had wine in the cozy lounge with some snacks to unwind from the long drive. Breakfast was a traditional Le Petit Dejeuner, with wonderful breads and jams and fromage blanc. The dining room is lovely, and the pool area was too, but we had to hit the road again (with some fresh chocolate muffins the chef sent out for us when we checked out!) The chalets are small one-room cottages. Each has a complete bathroom (with a shower, but not a tub of course), and satellite TV (never turned it on -- who needs a TV in such a lovely place?!) and complimentary coffee or tea. There’s a little covered porch with two comfy wicker chairs where we enjoyed our coffee. MAIN AREA OF HOTEL SMART AND RECEPTION FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT. HOWEVER THE ROOM WAS NOT UP TO STANDARD, SMELT OF SMOKE, VERY SMALL BED (HAD BOOKED TWIN) CARPET FILTHY AND CORRIDORS DINGY. BADLY IN NEED OF RENOVATION.

This is a lovely small countryside hotel on the outskirts of Bonniex ( about 4Km away). It is very tranquil with large airy rooms and a wonderful ambiance. There is no air conditioning but this should not put you off as the rooms are lovely and cool throughout the day and night. The restaurant produces wonderful quisine on a par with manny of the finer […] quality retaurants in France although as you would expect the menu range is limited. We ate their on 3 of the 5 evenings and had great food with execellent service. If you are unsure of your French the owner originally came from Chicago and all of the staff we met had some understanding of english. This is probably the most relaxing location you will ever stay at. I would recomend it to couples and families both young and old - first class! Devamı

What was meant to be a romantic stay in a charming and rustic location outside the beautiful village of Bonnieux was marred by an upsetting experience with the manager of the Inn. We had booked a triple room when that was all that was available and were happily settled into our room when we were informed that the adjoining single attached bedroom was […] to be occupied by someone else. Since the lock to our bathroom and bedroom was only from the other small room side, we found that unacceptable. In fact, we were glad that we became aware of this condition since the door was left open as if it were part of our suite. Otherwise, we might have not known. While the manager did eventually accept our point of view and sent us a complementary aperitif to apologize, we still felt that this offers a potential risk to another client. The Auberge de l'Aiguebrun is situated in a valley 4km from the hill-top village of Bonnieux. Our room was large & airy and had a great view of the Luberon mountains. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel's restaurant served great Provencal food and has a nice terrace overlooking a stream. We booked a "double cabin" but immediately upgraded to a double room in the main buiding. (The cabins are only slightly better than sleeping outdoors in a tent.) Staff is helpful, restaurant is pricey and superb. Wonderful location, if you can find it. Call ahead for detailed directions; Google maps will lead you to nowhere. bonne impression sejour de 5 nuits la carte excellente pourrait etre un peu plus etoffée.Dommage que début mai la piscine n"etait pas opérationnelle.

Très bel endroit : le personnel est adorable , l'auberge est magnifique avec son parc , la nourriture est délicieuse ( du petit déjeuner au repas du soir gastronomique) , bref un endroit ou l'on a envie de revenir très rapidement. De l'auberge on peut faire de très belles balades sans avoir à prendre la voiture . La région est magnifique .

un moment agreable dans un cadre enchanteur et une cuisine a vous couper le souffle, ce fut que du bonheur!!!

Emplacement idyllique pour qui aiment la nature, le calme au sein d'un vallon traversé par la rivière d'Aiguebrun. Accueil un peu emprunté mais qui sait se détendre. Les "chalets" le long de la rivière vous transportent au Canada. Bien décoré, on ne leur reprochera que les toilettes non séparées dans une SdB ne favorisant pas l'intimité.

Um hotel fica no campo, com uma paisagem linda um sonho.Tivemos dias maravilhosos. Fica numa localização boa para quem quer conhecer a provence. O restaurante do hotel é muito bom fizemos um menu degustação que estava maravilhoso., tem um clima romantico impecavel!

Se cercate una tappa veloce per il vostro tour in Provenza non scegliete questo albergo: qui tutto è all'insegna della quiete e della tranquillità e merita una pausa di almeno 24 ore. La campagna circostante è splendida, l'accoglienza all'altezza delle aspettative. Il personale è giovane, disponibile, gentilissimo e sempre sorridente; la struttura […] è in puro stile francese 'di campagna', così come tutti i relativi dettagli. Il ristorante non offre grande varietà di piatti, ma la cucina è eccellente in ogni caso. Si fa colazione in una grande veranda con vista sul bosco e sul ruscello sottostante e tutto segue i ritmi e le regole della natura, tranne il servizio puntuale ed impeccabile.
