The Ocean Drive - Ibiza

We were in Ibiza from March 16-19th 2012 and very much enjoyed our stay at Ocean Drive. The staff were all very friendly and provided us some great suggestions like renting a car to tour the island. Rooms were clean and very modern. We did find the lack of shelf and counter space in the bathroom a bit bothersome as well as not having a handle on the […] outside of the sliding door coming in from the balconey. Internet was not working in my room, but was working in the lobby.

Staff was extremely friendly, and very helpful. Hotel was in a fabulous location with great view of the ocean at a up charge of course. However, the beds are extremely small, unless you upgrade to a suite... And the best part in the upgrade that the website does not say is... All suites come with a SMART CAR! So, worth the upgrade. The hotel is good, but what they don't show you in the pictures of sexy rooms and Eivissa old town views, is that the full summer sun beats directly onto the full length glass windows all afternoon and early evening. Since the air-conditioning in the rooms hardly functions, this means that, if you're planning to spend any time in your room in the afternoon, […] you'll be very wilted from the blasting heat by time the evening brings respite. If you're out at the beach at that time, it may not matter, but it does take away from the "cool" sophisticated allure of the place! Add to this the noise and dust of an unending procession of heavy trucks accelerating in front of the hotel, bearing loads of rock and dirt for a harbour land reclamation project down the marina, and it can all be too exhausting for a good summer break. reception and restaurant staff very friendly and helpful (but could not do anything about these issues, which were out of their control) and they serve an unexpectedly great hamburger in the restaurant, and a pretty good breakfast. The Astro-turfed rooftop bar is interesting with great views (although only patronised by a few people, some children and a dog while we were there) - but would be so much better if they had found a way to stick a pool up there! I wouldnt suggest staying anywhere else. Staff and management were nothing short of perfect. We were treated like royalty, Rooms were beautiful, services provided daily e.g - clean towels, restocked mini bar, shampoo conditioner etc etc Would highly recommend

Really great hotel, great views to the old town from the front rooms. Staff very amazing friendly and helpful. Rooms nicely spec'd, not huge but well finished, great bathrooms. 15 minutes walk into town. Great hotel!

The hotel is located in the marina area about a 10 or 15 minute walk from the city of Ibiza. The hotel itself is quite small, with just four floors, but compared to other hotels in Ibiza it seemed like a much more modern option. The location was good, there was not much noise from the street at night and the restaurants nearby were all excellent (although […] a little expensive by Spanish standards). I would stay here agian if I had to visit Eivissa, but to be honest if you are looking to stay in a nice part of the island I would check out the eastern area, for example Santa Eulária des Riu. We traveled here during Ibiza's "winter" season just for a one night stay. The hotel was super clean & up to date. The concierge were very friendly and accomodating and gave us recommendations of where to go while we were there for our short stay I would definitley stay here again & can't wait to go back!

After searching through numerous hotels in Ibiza, I liked the look of this hotel from the pictures, however it is a smaller hotel and breakfast was the same choice every day for a week, staff were friendly enough, air conditioning in the room was not very good and we had an ocean view room which was classed as De Luxe but was very compact, no tea and […] coffee making facilities either in the room. There is no pool either which makes the price rather expensive for what you get, the views to the marina and the old town are lovely and it is about a 30 minute walk into the old town, driving is impossible sometimes. We loved Ibiza but I will definately be looking for alternative accomodation next time we visit. Devamı

Tolles Hotel, super Service, super Lage und tolle Leute (Gäste). Nachts allerdings sehr laut: Partylärm, fliegende Türen, lautes Geschrei auf den Gängen und Balkonen und laute Musik aus einigen Zimmern... Fazit: Tolles Hotel für Parypeople! Allerdings kein Wellnesshotel...

Das Hotel liegt traumhaft gegenüber der Altstadt und dem Hafen von Ibiza, was einen Traumblick speziell in der Nacht gewährt! Fast direkt vor dem Hotel (ca. 100m entfernt) legt im 30 Min. Takt ein kleines Shuttel-Boot ab, das direkt in den Hafen von Ibiza fahrt. Für einen wahrlich günstigen Preis kann man sich so hin- und retour bringen lassen. Im Hotel […] selbst wird einem jeder Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Man wird vom Personal freundlich empfangen und jeder ist immer für gute Ratschläge bereit - wir machten diese Erfahrung speziell mit den Damen der Rezeption. Aber auch der Manager ist keine Person, die sich versteckt, sondern direkt an der "Front" für seine Gäste da ist - ein extrem gutes Zeichen!!! Vielen Dank noch einmal an das ganze Hotel - es war ein TRAUMHAFTER Aufenthalt!!! Prädikat SEHR EMPFEHLENSWERT!!! Devamı

Excellent accueil dans un hotel design trés bien rénové chambre confortable, trés bon petit dejeuner, emplacement exceptionnel A recommander sans hesitation
