Super 8 Monterey - Monterey

We stopped for an overnight stay on our way south. Hotel staff was polite and helpful, room was clean and comfortable. As far as the surrounding area we arrived late and left early in the morning. Would stay again.

The hotel was nice.

We had a problem with the shower mixing valve. The water kept going cold. Overall though, it was a good experience.

This Super 8 was also super clean. We had a relaxing stay while visiting new grandson nearby. Indoor pool and hot tub were perfect for older grandchildren. Breakfast was adequate. The waffle gave you one hot choice. The fruit looked old, but everything else was okay. It was the perfect place for our quick weekend far from home.

We were very happy with this hotel, the reviews I read here before booking absolutely did it justice. It was very clean, especially considering that they are pet friendly. The decor looked new, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was good. It was right off the highway, so we had no trouble finding it. Very good value for the money.

Very nice hotel. Great value! The only complaint is they kept the hallway way too cold and the pool was very cold, too. Other than that, it was a great stay.

This hotel is located right off the freeway, but the lobby faces the freeway, so much of the noise doesn't come through. Behind the hotel there is a kind of lower class looking neighborhood, but it's quiet. The continental breakfast was somewhat lacking, consisting entirely of carbs a limited selection of fruit. We had a very pleasant experience. The motel was very clean and the beds were actually very comfortable. This appears to be a new motel. Would stay again and recommend to others.

We were so surprised that this hotel was as clean and nice as it was. We were expecting just an okay hotel but we got much more than that. The rooms were large and very clean. Breakfast was great. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

This hotel was a really nice Super 8. It is really easy to find, was clean, quiet and the staff was really nice. The breakfast was simple, but perfectly adequate. The town doesn't have much, but I was actually doing business in Cookeville--only a 10 minute drive away. The next day it was an easy drive for some recreation at Burgess Falls. If you are in the Monterey, TN area, stay at the Super 8. It is ultra clean with nice furnishings, not that ugly hotel furnishing that we have become accustomed to. Good place to stay. Rooms are clean and plenty of breakfast. Really convenient from the interstate and not hard to find.

A new hotel that is a cut above most Super 8's, but is in a small community without adequate restaurants so you should plan your meal in advance.

Great Room For The Money.

This hotel was comparable to a Hilton or Doubletree - the rooms were updated and very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in and told each other that we hoped the Hilton (where we were staying the next night in Washington DC) would be as nice as this Super 8! The flat screen TVs, comfortable beds, and very large rooms were way beyond […] our expectations. And for a great price, to boot! The hotel was very clean, my 4 year old said Mommy this place even smells nice. The pool area was clean, it could use a clock in the area though. We are actually planning on staying there again next year.

Very clean and comfortable. Didn't get any shampoo after first night. Would stay again. The cleanest hotel in Tenn! The vending machines were broke or sold out on every floor.

Super clean!!! The vending machines (soda,water) didn't work. I think it is the best hotel we have stayed at in the area. Best price too.
