Hotel Residenza San Marco - Como Gölü (bölge)

We stayed just one night. It is really a mini resort. The name on signs is Parco San Marco but we guessed correctly and had a warm welcome. We were grumpy after an unseasonally rainy cold day but started to thaw over a welcome drink at the bar. The manager came over and was surprised to find we were English. The majority of cars are Swiss and Italian […] although the staff spoke excellent English. We thought the main restaurant looked a bit formal (but lots of families were going in) so chose La Masseria/ Beach Terrace. The staff were outstanding. When we came in they had been trying to coax a fire in the upstairs room but it wasnt taking well and the room was a bit smokey, so they brought an lovely antipasti as an apology. We had a great view of the lake and a delicious meal. We felt confident enough to send the kids back to theroom so we could enjoy pudding and coffee on our own. Brilliant meal in a lovely setting and friendly attentive service. It was a bit pricey by Italian standards but worth it. The room was really a mini appartment with a sofa bed in a spacious sitting room and seperate double room. It was very comfortable with a great view, well equipped bathroom, but let down by poor lighting. Unfortunately we had to leave first thing and not tempted by the 19E breakfast which seemed steep. The facilities looked amazing but weather was so grim we didnt get a chance to indulge. Overall room was excellent value, the restaurant a bit pricey but wonderful. Would return. Devamı

We booked a Classic Room and were upgraded. Hotel facilities are really good, clean, freindly. All good so far. However, there are two things to be aware of: - "off season" half the facilities are closed. Outside pools, kids club, two out of 3 restaurants "extras" - Parking your car is not included in the room booking, and you really have no alternative […] E10, ker-ching. - Despite being a spa hotel, the very reason for existing being the pools, sauna etc. it was not included in the room rate. Another E50. ker-ker-ching! There really is not much else to do where the hotel is located, so you cough-up. - Breakfast not included. E19 per adult, E9 per child. Nowhere else to go, another E56 for the 4 of us. ker-ching, thank you very much. Then you find out that children under 12 are not allowed in the pool after 4pm, but you can't check-in before 2pm and you wonder what exactly you paid E50 for. Overall, a great hotel when it comes to facilities, ideal for couples and families in summer, but watch out for all the extras. Devamı

very very friendly staff at the reception and in the restaurant...very helpful with everything...child friendly and the most beautiful view at the lake...would come back for sure

Hotel was hard to find as the name of the hotel booked was not the same as displayed on the sign boards! The booking name should be changed to match the hotel name - then it is easy to find. Location is delightful and surroundings are maintained in a natural condition. The lake view is breath taking. The place is very kid-friendly. San Marco, let's face it - it's out of the way. You have to drive east of Lugano on a sketchy lake side road and I'd suggest if you don't have GPS you'll find it difficult to find. But it's great for a classy place to stay - probably 1/2 the price of staying on lake como and lk como is only 10 minutes away by car. Our room was a beautiful 5 star suite, […] complete with kitchen. So if you want a relaxing, classy place to stay this is it. If you want to mingle and be near restaurants then pass this place by. Don't go if you want easy access to the reception area - you need to walk outside. Devamı

Leider scheinen wir etwas Pech gehabt zu haben mit den Dienstleistungen des Hotels. Am ersten Abend hatte ich eine Scherbe im Dessert. Am zweiten Tag war der Save nicht geöffnet und die Duschseifenbehälter leer in unserem Zimmer. Am dritten Tag wurde das Zimmer nicht gemacht. Die Reception zeigte sich aber immer sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit. An ein […] Hotel dieser Klasse stelle ich jedoch höhere Erwartungen als ich bei meinem Aufenthalt erlebt habe. Fint hotell, minus på at det ligger i en fjellside sånn at det blir litt uoversiktlig(mange forskjellige bygg) og at det koster 50euro pr dag for at barn skal få bade og at frokost koster det samme.

Kohde on upealla paikalla kauniin ja puhtaan Lago Di Luganon rannalla. Huoneet ovat siistejä, samoin hotellin uimaranta on siisti ja lapsiystävällinen. Lapsi kielteisyys kosketti sensijaan ulkouima-allasta johon lapsilta oli pääsy kielletty. 50 €/päivä maksavalla puuhapassilla tosin pääsi aidattuun lapsiallas kokonaisuuteen, mutta uida ko. altaissa […] ei varsinaisesti pystynyt. Samoin hotellin aulassa olleessa Loungessa ei saanut olla lasten kanssa (ei siis kyseessä anniskelualue). Paikat oli varattu Relaxing Span käyttöön, mutta tästä spatoiminnan lapsikielteisyydestä jäi vähän ikävä maku, muuten upeasta paikasta! Devamı

Das Hotel ist traumhaft gelegen und hält, was es verspricht.Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gemütlich.Ich komme gerne wieder !

Das Hotel Residenza bzw. Parco San Marco liegt wohl an einem der schönsten Flecken der Schweiz. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und von allen Zimmern, Appartement und Suiten hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf den See. Unser Apartement war grosszügig und zweckmässig mit einem Hauch an Luxus eingerichtet. Die Defekte die wir an der Rezeption angegeben […] haben, wurden am selben Tag behoben. Wir wurden bereits sehr freundlich empfangen und der Check-In verlief sehr speditiv, aber trotzdem informativ. Da unsere Zimmerkategorie ausgebucht war, erhielten wir einen kostenlosen Upgrade. Das Zimmer war geräumig mit einem schön grossen Badezimmer. Die Angestellten waren alle sehr freundlich und es gab Details, die uns Freude bereiteten wie z.B., […] dass wir 2x täglich den Schoppen für unseren Buben wärmen lassen konnten, am Morgen waren seine Stofftiere im Bett liebevoll aufgereiht und am Ende gab es Mineralwasser für die Rückreise. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und auch hier wurden Details nicht ausser acht gelassen. Auch für Kinder hat es genügend Spielmöglichkeiten. Die Parkplätze waren sehr geräumig, was nicht selbstverständlich ist. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und werden sicher bei Gelegenheit zurückkehren. Devamı

This stay was absolutely incredible! It surpassed our expectations times 10! Beautiful surroundings, beautiful clean room, very friendly and helpful staff, child friendly, price right--really everything and beyond what we expected. Would and have recommended it to everyone we talk with!

Mein Aufenthalt im September 2010 im Parco San Marco war meine 5. Buchung dort, vor 10 Jahren habe ich das erste Mal in diesem Hotel übernachtet. Es war mal wieder ein sehr schönes Erlebnis, man wird dort wirklich noch als Gast behandelt, der Service ist einfach umwerfend, das gesamte Personal ist so aufmerksam, wie man es sich nur wünschen kann. Für […] mich ist das Parco San Marco eine Meßlatte dafür, wie Hotelgäste betreut werden sollten. Ich bin in meiner langen beruflichen Laufbahn für eine Fluggesellschaft in vielen Hotels weltweit abgestiegen, habe einen so gelebten Service wie hier nur sehr selten erlebt! Ich bin jetzt seit einigen Jahren selbst in der Gastronomie tätig, das Parco San Marco ist für mich Vorbild und Inspiration auch für meine jetzige Tätigkeit, bitte macht weiter so! Devamı
