Brandon is a residential suburb that lies east of downtown. Nearby, blue-ribbon agriculture is on display annually at the Florida State Fairgrounds. South of Brandon in Apollo Beach, manatees flock by a waterside power plant when the water temperature cools. The aquatic mammals are best seen at Tampa Electric’s Manatee Viewing Center, which is also a haven for butterflies and birds.

Very nice clean hotel for an overnight stay. Good hot & cold breakfast selection. We chose this hotel for its location close to Tampa Port before going on a cruise. They provide complimentary shuttle service to the surrounding area and to the port, but they want you to book through them for the port shuttle & free parking because they have a "cruise […] rate". We don't know if it's higher or lower than the rate we got with hotels.com. They did allow us this service even though we didn't book through them. They have only 1 shuttle bus so service is very slow during the time they are transporting cruise guests. There were 2 cruise ships docking at the same time and we waited for over an hour for the shuttle to take us back to the hotel after we got off the ship. Other than that it was a positive experience. This hotel was very clean and beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The desk clerks are awesome food was really good. Will stay at again!
"Fairfield Marriott/Tampa"
Our room was so comfortable that we regretted only being able to stay one night. The breadfast provided was second to none. Shame on you if you did not leave there satisfied.

This hotel was very hospitable and friendly. We got to the hotel early from gettting off of a cruise ship and the hotel was more than happy to get us into our rooms early. Rooms were clean. Hot tub was nice as was the gym. They have a free shuttle to the port and back and also the mall and surrounding restaurants. Very nice hotel and I would stay there […] again. Devamı

I've been traveling a lot for work lately and have stayed in @ seVeral hotels in the Tampa area over the past few months. Last two weeks I chose Fairfield Inn & Suites and it has so far been my best choice! The staff were extremely friendly + welcoming and the room was great. I would definitely stay here again...

The breakfast was awesome--loved the waffles! It was VERY convenient to the casino without the inflated room costs of the Hard Rock (not to mention the microwave and mini fridge).

"Small Rooms"
I was thinking suite, like Country Inn and Suites. Room was very small could not get work done. I usually stay at Country Inn where the rooms are large and are set up so if you are traveling for work you have room to work. Also the walls are paper thin people coming from nearby casino will wake you late at night.

This is a very nice hotel with convenience to the Fairgrounds, the Hard Rock Casino and my Tampa office -- the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good -- simple with fruits, juice, cereal, bagels and a waffle maker. I would stay again.

Great hotel! New construction and clean.. Nice stay with Hard Rock Cafe Casino a few blocks away and next to a mayor highway..5 mins to downtown Tampa, and historic Ybor City.. I recommend 100%.
