My fiance and myself stayed for long weekend. Overall we were pleased about the place but couple of issues was not up to our satisfaction. The postcode which sent it to us on our booking took us nearby village! Not exactly to place. The room we requested at booking was double bed but when we arrived to room there was one double and one single bed! And there was no much space left at the room! The room was smelling humidity heavily and the central heating was not working. Luckily we got small radiator from very helpful In-charge lady. Another surprising thing was on sunday morning we woke up with fire alarm which was strongly sounding at whole mansion around 8.30am! So we ran out the building with all other guests and stayed for 10mins. It wasn`t really pleasant to wake up on sunday morning. By the way, the mansion is perfect location for quiet, peaceful weekend. Outdoor jacuzzi at garden and walking distance forest make more attractive also. The food served at breakfast was quiet tasty and many options. We recommend to everyone.

it was certainly comfortable, neat, large rooms.and maybe more quiet if you stay outside the main building which is almost the next house. the staff was increadibly helpfull, try to answer all your questions. only a few bus stop away from the center of the city. (takes 1.20 £) , otherwise with taxi 6 or 7 £ far away. great breakfast, you get exactly what you expect from an english breakfast..

We were as a group of 13 people and really enjoyed staying here. Do not think it is far a way from the city central, it's just a 10 min bus ride and the last stop is just 100 meters from the hotel. Plus, there is a 24-hour-open supermarket that you can find everything you wish just very near the hotel. Everything was wonderful there, and I will definitely stay there again if I visit Edinburgh for the second time.

Location was quiet and good. The guy on the reception was waiting for us (we arrived very late). He gave us a lot of information about buses, attractions, he was really helpful. The room looked like tidy, but all the mirrors and carpet was extremly dirty! And the bed smelled of cigarettes. Couple from Hungary 1 night stay
The location of the hotel would be convenient if you have a car but yet even you have a car you have to hunt for a parking spot on the street. Our hotel room was on the third floor with NO elevator!! That meant we have to take our two big suitcases up 3 flights of stairs. The room looks pretty clean other than the old carpet and the shower had no problem […] though so it's acceptable. But after the first night one of us got bitten by flea so you can imagin how clean is the room. Also the staffs wasn't very hard working. Devamı

"Park View House Hotel - Avoid at all costs!"
The smallest double room ever. The bed was pushed against one wall - making it dificult for one person to get in it. Bathroom was so small it was impossible to get dressed in it. Had to pay up front before shown room which was in separate annexe. This was extremely noisy and hostel-like. Pillows were very thin. Told breakfast was 8 to 9 on Sunday morning. […] Had to wait for half an hour for a free table and then still had to share with another family. Table wasn't very clean. No cooked breakfast. Food was of cheapest type available. Staff were bossy and rude. Also one female member of staff who was clearing tables was dressed in sweat pants and slippers. A horendous experience. Devamı

Although the hotel staff are a little aloof. The general stay was adequate. The cotinental breakfast was sparse and not well presented.

Ett perfekt hotell lite utanför turiststråken men mitt i den lokala atmosfären.

Jeg bodde her med min familie under festival måneden. Her var det en helt annen pris en hvis vi skulle bodd mer sentralt, men med mange buss stopp rett ved siden av og rimelige taxier er det ingen problem. Enden av Leith Walk er ikke noe koselig sted etter midnatt, men eller ikke noe problem for som turist har man ingen ting å gjøre der. Ellers var […] det svært god service, passe dårlige senger og det var stor forskjell på rommene. Når resepsjonisten så at min mor og far var med oppgraderte han rommet så de fikk ett mye bedre og penere rom. Devamı
"Park View House Hotel, Edinburgh"
Ett dåligt hotell! Gamla dammiga spindelnät i lampan/taket. Vi fick ej nya handukar, toapapper fylldes ej på. Frukosten var väldigt torftig, även för ett sk "3-stjärnigt" hotell. Hotellet funkar även som festlokal för kvarteret, vilket resulterar i ett fasligt liv och rökande utanför hotellet. Vi hade rum ut mot gatan och fredagen samt lördagen var […] det ganska stökigt utanför. Vi beställde en taxi till morgonen efter av hotellpersonalen, vilket inte blev gjort. "Tæt på parken, en bustur fra byen"
Hotellet var ok uden særlig luksus og lidt kedelig morgenmad. Men meget venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Perfekt beliggende, når man rejser med børn, ved en park med fin legeplads og lige ved busstoppestedet, så man efter 15 min. er inde i byen.
