RIVIERA - Griante

This rather small hotel is across the road from the lake. This means that there is traffic almost 24x7 next to the hotel. Parking is very limited, so if you are driving you may want to look elsewhere. It is close to the ferry. Despite what the hoteliers said, WiFi worked for me on the top floor. This small hotel on Lake Como is a gem. It is a little off the beaten path of one of the smaller towns around the lake, but that makes it even more inviting. And it is very reasonably priced for the area. The owner is definitely friendly and hospitable although she seems to be always working! The dining area across the road from the hotel is right on […] the lake and is a beautiful spot for a glass of wine in the evening and breakfast in the morning. Speaking of breakfast, the homemade jam is wonderful! The room was very clean and even had a view of both mountains and lake from the balcony. Three relaxing nights at the Hotel Good Hospitality and very Friendly Service Very Pleased With the Hotel and Motorbike Friendly.

My husband and I stayed here 2 nights to recover from out jetlag before our major sightseeing. The room was mostly clean except for the large section of mold growing in the corner of the ceiling above the shower. The shower itself did it's job but was super tiny. The location was nice but the bed was very hard. The best thing about this hotel though […] was the staff. My husband and I had an issue with transportation and the lady working behind the counter really went above and beyond to help us out. The guy that helped with breakfast was also extremely friendly and quite a character. I would love to recommend this place but the mold grossed me out and the firm mattress made it difficult to sleep. Devamı

the hotel was a good economical choice for a couple of nights. If you are looking for frills this is not the place. the help was very cordial and accommodating, they went the extra mile in pleasing us. a negative was the tight free parking and also was not able to connect to the internet. very convenient to the ferry and sights, we would stay there […] again. The hotel staff is awesome, extremely welcoming and knowledgeable! The rooms were cute and had a spectacular view. Great attached restaurant and good breakfast. Highly recommended.

Funniest guy running this hotel. Very very friendly and overlooking Como and the belaggio in the distance. We were on a road trip so it was perfect for location for such a short stay. Would definitely stay there again. The only downfall was the road is fairly loud - but who wants to sleep in at such a beautiful location??

We stayed here for two nights in April. Although the stated check in time is 13.00 we were going to be a little early so I called up to check if that was ok and the hotel was fine with it. The hotel is a short (3 mins) walk from the ferry dock in Cadenabbia, which is very convienent. It is also easy to walk to Villa Carlotta (10 mins), Tremezzo (25 […] mins) and Menaggio (30 mins). You can also walk up the hill just outside the hotel to Griante which is lovely. We stayed in room 15 on the 3rd floor - there is a lift but we used the stairs most days. The room had two windows with glorious views out onto the lake and on to Bellagio (one in the bedroom and one in the bathroom) and we could lay in bed looking out at the mountaintops. The room was scrupulously clean with a comfortable bed, flat screen tv mounted high on the wall and a bathroom with shower (no bath) and bidet. Some people might find it a bit noisy with the windows open as it overlooks the main road through Cadenabbia, but we managed easily to take a nap in the afternoon with the windows open. The windows are very good and kept the noise out very well when shut. All the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Breakfast included meat and cheese, cereals, fruit, yoghurts and pastries, and a choice of hot and cold drinks (coffee/tea made to order) and was delicious. We ate at the restaurant attached to the hotel on the first night and it was excellent, very lively with tables both inside and outside looking out onto the lake. All in all this hotel offers exceptional value for money - it's not overly fancy but it's a very nice place to stay and we would definitely stay there again. Devamı

Udsigten er helt fantastisk,vi tog vores mad med op og spiste på vores balkon, bare for at nyde udsigten. Personalet taler perfekt engelsk og kommer gerne med mange tips til udflugter. Hotelets restaurant sælger pizza ud af huset til meget rimmelige priser og så er der gratis parkering ved hotelet. Det er kun 30km til Lugano i SCH. Rengøring er helt […] i top. Vi fik en meget varmt og personligt afsked af personalet. Det er en deglig rolig hotel. Det er nemt at tage op til bjergene og besøge de andre byer ved søen der der kører en bus der holder lige udenfor hotelet. Devamı

Hotel Riviera had a great location - there was loads to see nearby and it was easy to move around by ferries, buses.. The staff at the hotel reception was really helpful and provided us with many great tips concerning attractions, restaurants etc. Recommend warmly!

Det dyreste og dårligste hotellet vi har lagt på. Restauranten var stengt, ingen visste hvorfor. Små rom med vindu mot en veldig trafikkert gate. Hvor dette hotellet har fått sine tre stjerner forstår jeg ikke. Helt ordinær frokost.

Hotellet ligger virkeligt godt for udflugter med båd og bus til de omkring liggende byer. Værelserne på 2 sal, har alle en vidunderlig udsigt over søen Pga. hotellet ligger helt ud til den meget trafikkerede hovedegade, er der en del trafikstøj.

Hyggeligt familiedrevet hotel - typisk italiensk stemning og indretning med værelser af forskellig størrelse, kvalitet og indretning. Meget venligt og imødekommende og engelsktalende personale! En del trafikstøj ! Fantastisk udsigt over Comosøen fra balkonen er et absolut plus!

Hotel construit dans une vieille villa. Bien situé par rapport aux sites toursitiques tels que Menaggio et surtout Bellagio. En revanche, toutes les chambres sont bruyantes car tout au bord de la route qui serpente autour du lac. Malgré le double vitrage, le passage des voitures se fait entendre. Ett mysigt litet hotell med en magnifik vy mot Bellagio. Har man svårt med störande ljud kan det vara problem med en trafikerad väg som går förbi hotellet.Annars kan jag defenitivt rekomendera detta hotell

Nettes, günstiges Hotel. Zimmer war sauber und hübsch eingerichtet. Unser Zimmer hatte Seeblick. Leider etwa laut, da direkt vorm Fenster die Hauptstraße verläuft. Pizza im Restaurant war auch lecker. Leider nur zwei deutsche Sender (ZDF,ARD) Alles in allen ein schöner Aufenthalt

es ist einfach aber sehr freundlich, sehr sauber und preisgünstig, allerdings liegt es direkt an der hauptstraße. ein empfehlenswerter familienbetrieb.
