Hotel Aurora - Floransa

Other than the fact that the toilet didn't flush, there was no hot water, and the "free interenet" signal was almost unworkable, the hotel was clean, however bad the decor.

We were a little worried about noise levels but no problems on that front. Room was large with a comfortable bed. Staff were very helpful.

Loved this hotel mainly because of easy commute from the water-bus-stop (just across the street). Breakfast was excellent especially the scrambled eggs. No toast though, but lots of pastries and other options. Staff were courteous, and were happy to heat up milk and food for my 1 year old. Main building is under construction. Be aware, standard rooms are in different location, terrible entrance and elevator. Reservation goes through this party website and it is not through hotels.com. Breakfast is good. Main building is nicer and it is right next to train station.

We selected the Aurora because we wanted a hotel close to the railway station as we were arriving and departing Florence by train. The hotel is on the other side of the road from the station.From the hotel it was possible to visit historic sites on foot, although the little electric minibuses which stop close to the hotel can take you to convenient […] central points such the Signoria or Abruzzi Gallery. We stayed in the hotel's annex which is about 200 metres away in another street on the 5th floor of a building. Our room was clean, light and comfortable with a nice view towards the hills outside the city. If one is travelling by car there are probably cheaper and better locations which are less central but if like us you want to be near the station and do not wish to drag cases around the town looking for a hotel this meets the bill. Office is right across street from train station, but you have to walk around the block to get to where the rooms are, which is through a big unmarked door next to the bus stop. Elevator is the old cage-type. Rooms are pretty basic, with aging linens. Cheap place, but there are lots of nearby pensions that may be a better choice for cheap.

We had booked Hotel Aurora for 1 night at Florence. The Hotel is very close to the Rail Station and within walking distance of the city's attractions. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were pretty good and maintained very well. The breakfast was pretty decent. Would recommed this hotel for anyone to stay at Florence. hotel très bien situé au centre ville de Florence on peut visiter la ville à pieds tarif raisonnable pour 4 environ 100 euros la nuit avec petit dej Par contre parking payant juste à coté 25euros les 24hmais pas besoin de payer les transports en commun tout se fait à pieds nous avons trouvé un peu de poussière sur le sol, l'aspi ne doit pas être passé […] souvent! Actuellement en travaux de rénovation, mais ce n'est pas génant. La terrasse pour prendre le petit déjeuner est très sympa

La ubicación no puede ser mejor, justo cruzando la calle de la estación de trenes. El servicio muy bueno, el staff habla varios idiomas incluido español e inglés. Las habitaciones de lujo, realmente muy buenas y el baño ni que hablar!!! El desayuno bufete excelente y muy grande, no un desayuno continental como es de esperar. Отличный отель для путешествий. Удобное расположение, хороший номер. Завтрак слабенький. Кроме того, определенное неудобство, что пришлось ключи получать не стойке регистрации, а номер располагается в 3-4 минутах ходьбы от основного корпуса (но так не все номера). Gutes und preisgünstiges Stadthotel. Liegt nur 5 Min. zum Stadtzentrum mit allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Zimmer sollten nach hinten gebucht werden. Vorne ist der Bahnhof mit Lärm

Vennlig og hjelpsom betjening. Sentral beliggenhet i forhold til jernbane og severdigheter. God frokost. En del trafikkstøy på rom som vendte ut mot gata.

Trotz Sprachschwierigkeiten wurden wir sehr korrekt und fair behandelt. Das Personal war stehts wohlwollend und geduldig. Mit wenigen Schritten erreichten wir den Stadtkern und die Restaurantempfehlung des Hotelpersonals war goldig.
