Grand Hotel Bristol - Stresa

Lovely Hotel but the only downside was that you could hear the TVs in other rooms, conversations and toilet flushes. For such a grand building the soundproofing leaves a lot to be desired.

An extremely nicely located hotel but a bit of a turnoff that additional fees were attached to services that are usually included in the price in other same standard hotels, such as e.g. wifi (which didn't even work properly) and the sauna.

I found the hotel to be in very nice condition and found the service to be good if not great. The location was good but not great. The price I got however was great. I think it was a good value for the money. The pace of things at this hotel and in Stresa in general was very leisurely. Great for hangining out by the pool and visiting the islands but […] there wasnt much else going on while we were there.... I'm sure that this hotel is a fine place to stay if you pay the $300/room but we came on a full weekend and got one of the last rooms. The room wasn't fit to be occupied and our romantic night turned into an evening of calling and watching maintenance men come and go. Finally they pulled a huge ball of lipstick out of the tub drain but left the red […] smear all over the tub. This took us about 1/2 hour to clean and, needless to say, left us without too much energy for further enjoyment of the hotel. The hotel made no concessions to us and flatly refused to do so. Not even a "oh, sorry" from them but rather very a very rude comment about "what did you expect when you booked so late?" Well, we expected the room advertised rather than a broken down experience. Sehr gute Lage und guter Komfort. Haben ein Upgrade in eine Suite erhalten. Störend: Lautstärke des Whirpools (hörbar auch der vom Nachbarn).

Grand Hotel Bristol is a very good to stay in stresa at the lake. The location of this hotel is very very good! The room was clean, with italian good sense and comfortable. Hotel staffs were very much friendly and kind. We arrived with a car. This hotel has enough underground parking lot.

Ein super Hotel in Stresa mit wenigen Gehminuten an der schönen Seepromenade zum Städtchen. Schönen Kinderspielplatz am See. Preis/Leistung des Hotels sehr gut. Zimmer schön und relativ geräumig. 1 Erwachsener + 2 Kinder für 3 Nächte. Haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Service war sehr gut und freundlich. Pool (ungeheizt) und Gartenanlage ist sehr schön und gepflegt. Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet, wenn auch nicht sehr gross. Zum See sind es nur wenige Schritte und ins "Zentrum" von Stresa ca. 15 Min. zu Fuss. Preis - Leistung aus unserer Sicht […] i.O. Hotel de calidad con buenas instalaciones. Muy buen servicio. La habitación no muy grande. Ubicación a 10 min del centro en un entorno agradable. Es una buena base para visitar el Lago Maggiore.

Alltid lika trevligt att komma till Bristol som ligger vackert vid stranden till Lago di Maggiore. Vänligt bemötande och vacker inramning.
