Parc Suites - San Diego

If you're looking for something off the beaten path, Parc Suites offers what is basically a home base from which you can easily get to anywhere in San Diego by way of bus and trolley. When you first arrive, you are greeted at the gate by the owner, given the rundown, and then driven to the grocery store to lay in supplies. Then, it's up to you to enjoy […] the peace and quiet, read a book on the front porch, or head off to see the San Diego sites. The neighborhood, though a little run down, did not seem at all threatening, and everyone I encountered on the street said good morning and was more than willing to help guide me on my way. The hotel is basically an apartment. You have to register off-site and the rules are a little weird - they want you to clean the room before leaving. The neighborhood is a little sketchy - near gaslamp but not a nice area. The parking in back in nice but you have to manually unlock the gate every time you want to leave. It's a nice place - it's close […] enough to things in San Diego and you do get a full kitchen. It's an average place to stay in San Diego. Devamı

It was very pleasant place to stay. Everything is so near. It is different from other hotels, U don't get daily room servicing, U can't get your things or food to your door. U can live there as you live in your home. Place your stuff, clean your stuff and leave. You have very good kitchen, cook whatever you want and eat. The apartment-style room was so cute and comfortable! With your own little kitchen and basic appliances and anemities, that feeling of "I think I forgot something" quickly went away. The room was VERY clean with nice furnishings throughout. The building was located about a mile from Gaslamp which was convenient and pretty close to Balboa Park as well. […] We felt very safe there with the extra security of the screen door on the room and enclosed parking space. It was pretty quiet as well. We felt so at home and really enjoyed our stay here. We'll be staying here everytime we go to San Diego! Devamı

Parc Suites is part residential condos and part hotel rooms. The rooms are spacious and updated, and the full kitchen is stocked with dishes and utensils so is easy to store groceries and make meals. The gated, off-street parking is convenient and needed since the surrounding neighborhood is questionable at best. Directly across from a school so there […] was some noise early morning during the week. This is a quick and easy drive to highway 5 and Balboa Park, and just a few minutes by car from the Gaslamp District (but definitely not a pleasant walk down there). Devamı

know this before arriving.....your checkin is at a house a block from the actual builing you stay in.....i found out the hard way and had to find a place to check my email about how and where to check in. the building in a area of town that has been in a down slide so the area can look a bit ruff, it dosn't help witht he homeless people only a few blocks […] away. the old victorian house that has been totally renevated and is under password key gate system and a locked gate parking area for the people who live in the builing. my room was the single suit they have on the main floor, and was easy to get to threw the back. new hard wood floors new kitchen and granet counters, pplasma tv, leather couch, new small bathroom, and a double bed" which now i undersatnd to be really enough for one person" but luckely the couch had a good pull out bed in it. things to whach for, hard wood floors can make noise from upstairs......, the bathroom is a bit small and if your over 6ft maybe look into another room this one was a tight fit for the shower and i'm 5'10...and last thing clean your room...yep sweep,garbage, dishes. it's not a hotel just keep this in mind Devamı

Enjoyed my brief stay at Parc Suites ... Owner/Manager went out of her way to provide an orientation ... Room turned out to be quite nice with a bonus kitchen ... Location is within a mile of downtown San Diego ... Give it a try!

Close to everything, very comfortable bed and full kitchen. Great value.

Perfect location right next to downtown and Gaslamp district. The only thing we did not like was that the bathroom was extremely small and was hard to move in the shower. Cute and apartment like with nice kitchenette.

Prima locatie om het convention center te bereiken. In de avonduren een beetje minder aantrekkelijk, maar zelfs de evt. kosten van een taxi terug maken het absoluut de moeite waard. Een prima verblijf voor een relatief zeer gunstige prijs.
