Very convenient location

Great for a pre/post flight stay.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Accommodated a change of room request at check in as we wished to be closer to the pool. Good food and very friendly staff.

Stayed for few nights,found the stay a little disappointing. Room wasnt clean .Lots of ants crawled around and cobwebs around TV and under TV stand. Sugar and tea were not replenished and upon asking for sugar, 2 phones calls and half an hour later we had breakfast.Also, a little more education on credit cards would probably provide more convenience […] to the guests. If we use a credit card in the restaurant or the bar, staff will take you to reception desk to have the payment made...time consuming plus the look on the staff 's face the moment I'll pull my credit card out...on top of that was the surcharge. This hotels provides very convenient location, just opposite the airport, the staff provide very good service, the swimming pool is good, the general environment is quite clean and fresh. We stayed at this hotel on our honeymoon trip in April, the hotel provided us a fruit basket and 2 sulus. I would say this is a very good value for money hotel.

Right next to airport

very handy for stopover but thats all air/cons dont cool the rooms down . food was ok.

So close to airport you can walk to terminals.

We needed a hotel close to the airport after flight to smaller island was cancelled. Staff was great, food good also. If you need hotel close to the airport then this is the better of the bunch. Saw the competition down the road and looked like a dive. Free shuttle to/from airport also.

Great for a few nights befor heading of to Islands or heading home.

The Gateway is straight across from Nadi Airport - a few minutes walk and is an excellent stopover if you have an early morning flight or an excellent place to rest up if you have a morning Coral Sun bus to Suva to catch. It is surprisingly quiet given its location so close to to the airport and the Suva-Lautoka Highway. The deluxe room was comfortable […] (but alas no mini bar). The restaurant was good, breakfast and service excellent, the overall service excellent apart from the front desk staff whose too casual approach was a bit irritating to this sleep deprived traveller! The hotel's complimentary bus service to the Airport is a bonus for weary travellers. Overall I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel and would recommend it for a quick overnight stop in between flights or if catching an early morning flight. Devamı

Nice place to stay.Exceptional value for money.Conveniently located opposite the airport we walked across the main road to the hotel.Don't let the closeness of the airport put you off as all large commercial planes fly in and out over the sea due to the airport running along the coastal strip. So as you are on the mountain side of the main road you […] have no noise intrusion in your room. The great thing about this hotel apart from the cleanliness of the rooms etc is the swimming pool and acres of manicured gardens.Fantastic on the eye with mountain backdrops.The ace in the cards is the slippery slide.Great view from the top of surrounding area.We spent so much time on this slide and kicking back around the pool with fruit mocktails for energy boosts.Take a hotel taxi into Nadi for dinner at Saffrons or into Denarau. Stay away from Hotel 81, Chinatown, Singapore. A hot bed of prostitution

Our stay in this hotel was great. We only had two complaints about our stay. First we wanted to go out to town to the Hard Rock Cafe which is only 20 minutes away. The hotel staff called us in one of their taxi drivers. He treated us like tourists and charged us twice the local price. We were from Fiji and new what the local price was. We made sure […] that we reported this guy so be careful when hoping in the taxi from the hotel. Also the internet is a bit pricey. We spent an amount of money for 24 hours or 1G download. Well with in 4 hours our internet was up. Pay attantion to what programs you have running on your computer or you will end up spending another amount of money for internet all over again like we did. This hotel is right across the street from the airport but you do not hear the planes come and go. It was very quiet. We would stay here again for sure. Devamı

Great hotel if you want to stay close to airport. You can just walk across the road and you are at the airport. Overall good service, great food, clean room, nothing to complain about.

very closed to the airport, the room was clean and nice. Staff were nice. The food was good, price was reasonable as well. The only problem is there is no other shops and restaurants nearby except in the airport.

Great place to stay near the airport. Easy to get into Nadi with a bus or taxi. Very good value for money :)

Excellent Hotel

We stayed at this hotel twice on our way to Savusavu and back. It is the closest hotel to Nadi airport and only 2 min from the arrival/departure hall. The pick-up and drop-off service is very reliable, the hotel clean and staff friendly. The restaurant is ok, but wouldn't satisfy a gourmet traveller. The location is very good

The staff were exceptionally helpful & friendly, our room was very clean, well appointed & comfortable, and we enjoyed a relaxing stay for the one day transit we were in Fiji. Being right across from the airport, we expected some noise but our room was at the back, overlooking the gardens, and it was very quiet.

Very good value especially the Deluxe suite, good menu and excellent food.

The Gateway Raffels Hotel is a great spot opposite the Nadi airport. Conventient and reasonablily priced. Rooms are large clean and quiet. The swimming pool is a welcome plus. It has a great water slide for the kids and a 25 meter length pool. The food is good. Internet is user pays and is not cheap. Very convenient for airport stopover.

If you're looking for an overnight stop bookending a trip in Fiji this is the place. We stayed here mainly due to its location opposite the airport before moving on to the islands and would happily stay here again. Rooms are clean and spacious and the restaurant offers a really good selection of food at reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and […] helpful although occasionally they slip back into what the locals call 'Fiji Time'. Other than that the hotel is ideal for those looking for an easy overnight stop before departing to other parts of Fiji. Would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay there again. Friendly staffs and comfortable envirnonment! But don't take gateway in case you travel around.

We stayed at the Gateway for one night on our way to another destination. It was very comfortable, the food excellent and the service very friendly and welcoming. It is a very short walk from the airport without any noise and we would definately book here again.

This is a good hotel, only a 1 minute drive or 5 minute walk from the airport. The hotel has recently had a facelift and has that early 1900's feel to it. The meals at the coffee shop/restaurant are of a reasonable quality and size. The prices for food and beverage are competitive with other hotels and they serve good coffee. For the kids there is a […] large pool with a water slide. It will keep them occupied for hours and tire them out for a good nights sleep. The hotel also provides a 24hr pickup and delivery to the airport, which is included in the tariff. I have used this hotels several times and have not been disappointed. Devamı

We stayed twice at the Gateway - on arrival in Fiji and before leaving. For that it is an ideal hotel and my guess is that most of it's customers are doing similar short stays and probably do not venture far from the Hotel. The surrounding area is typical near airport country with nothing much to recommend it. Despite all this, the hotel is efficient, […] clean, comfortable (we had a double room with plenty of space - a small suite in effect - I gather singles are not so generous) with a good resturant and two swimming pools. The shuttle bus to the airport (less than a kilometre away) does what it says and shuttles back and forward to the front of the terminal building where you can find buses to take you into Nadi etc. and along the Sunshine coast to Suva (4-5 hours). This is the second time we have stayed at The Gateway...close to Airport...handy place to meet Fijian friends...friendly staff. When ordering a meal, make sure your order is fully understood and repeated...eg: eggs on toast should not be eggs swimming on a plate and not a piece of toast to be seen...a small matter maybe, but as it happened twice, it […] should be mentioned. Nightly entertainment by Orisi was great to listen to while dining. Front desk staff well presented and gave great service. A great place to relax after an overnight flight and handy to get to the airport for your next flight. Rembember : it is a hotel and not a resort. We will certainly stay there again. Devamı

I had an eleven day stay in Fiji for business, and the Gateway served as a great home away from home. The room was spotless and very comfortable (I stayed in Deluxe room) at a great price. The restaurant serves great variety of food at very competitive prices. only a 10 minute bus or taxi ride to Martintar area with vast selection of restaurants. The […] staff were all very friendly and helpful (one issue I had with the room phone was dealt with promptly). I would recommend this hotel for business, or families/vacationers who want to spend a few nights on Viti Levu before or after heading to resorts in the outlying islands. Devamı

Adequate,not as good as it looks on the website but handy for local bus.Ok for very short stay otherwise find somewhere else.

as someone said earlier, if you need to stay near the airport, go here. just walk across the road. :) can also bus for $1-2 in either direction.

This is extremely close to the airport and the superior room we had was excellent. Very clean and a lovely large room. Great value for the price.Swimming pool was very welcome. if you have to stay by nadi airport, this place is pretty nice - the deluxe rooms have a balcony and the grounds are fairly extensive. Staff can be a bit hit or miss - many were very friendly & helpful, but at check-in, some of the staff clearly felt overwhelmed

Nice enough hotel. Perfectly suited to our needs. The portions of food in the restaurant were beyond immense so you'd better be hungry!

Great location for transit travellers, and easy access to Nadi by local bus. Very friendly staff, food was pretty good. Abundance of fresh fruit for breakfast. Interesting menu and varied for dinners, etc. Requested a change to the other side of the hotel to get a better view since I was staying for 2 evenings, but if you are staying for a short time […] and arriving evening and leaving first thing in the morning, any room will do. I had read reviews on the slow expensive internet, and it was true, but at least there was internet! Did not notice any airplane noise. Devamı
