Meininger Hotel London Hyde Park - Hostel - Londra

Wanted hotel near to Albert Hall, ideal cheap bed for night with no pampering. Room warm and clean if sparten. Lounge was good with cheap coffee, staff very helpful. Will be better when lift installed. Convenient for tube, 5 mins from Gloucester Road, and less than 10 mins walking distance from Albert Hall.

The single room was smaller than a prison cell. Every time that I was moving around I was hitting my head or shoulders to an old fashion TV. The room did not have any closet. I was given a room adjacent to a bathroom for the disabled, enough for having a depression. The heater was not controllable. The only way to survive was to open the window to enjoy […] a November London freshness. The elevator was not working. I have never seen something like this even in Third World countries. The hotel staff were friendly and hotel was conveniently located. I was surprised to find the place full of teenager scouts but this was fine. The room was very basic and bed not too comfortable, but I Guess it was good value for london!

the elevator didn't worked for the 3 days i stay there i had to walk 5 floors to my room and it didn't bother no one of the staff

This is not a hotel, it is a youth hostel. When you call them they even answer the phone with 'Hello Meininger Hostel' so how it can be called a hotel on this site is beyond me. I booked a single room and was given a room with only bunk beds and the Boy Scout Motto on the wall! The breakfast room is just a canteen, long, metal benches for everyone to […] sit on. had to leave 5 euro deposit for each towel (they kept them at the lobby desk) Plastic cabinet bathroom Beds not made (clean sheets folded and on top of each bed). 25 Euros to park overnight STARK!

Fiquei muito satisfeito com a estadia. O hotel tem um bom serviço, ótima localização para o Hyden Park e para os principais transportes públicos além de ser muito limpo, organizado e moderno.

After reading some of the reviews about this hotel, I didn't have any high hopes. Showed up at the hotel, and got to put our luggage in their storageroom, and come back at 3 PM for check-in. The room is simple, and what you can expect for the price. If your going to London to be a tourist, and not spend so much time at the hotel, I think this is perfect. […] The beds could have been more comfertable and it's a little noisy if you are there at the same time as schoolclasses on trips (but the staff made them calm down), but youre so tired from walking all day, that it's not really a problem. Not for us, at least. The location is great, near museums and Hyde Park, Starbucks, KFC, supermarked and so on. Two subways 3-5 minutes in walking distance; South Kensington and Gloucester. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. But you if youre going to London for a relaxed vacation and chill at the room, I would maybe consider something more expensive. Devamı

Hotel Meininger er mer et Hostel. Passer bra for skoleklasser med grei beliggenhet til det meste. Rommet er OK, nye senger. + for køysenger. Badet er mer et bad du finner i en bobil, men greit nok til å gjøre det nødvendige. Mulighet for frokost mot et tillegg, og depositum for å få håndkler.

Hotellet var rent och hyfsat fräscht. Otroligt liten dusch. Sängarna var mycket hårda och kuddarna var platta som pannkakor. Sänglinnen och handdukar byttes inte varje dag. Nära till sevärdheter. Café i lobbyn. I det stora hela ett bra budgetalternativ.

Meininger -hotellin sijainti oli mitä parhain, nopea yhteys keskustaan ja lentokentälle. Aamiainen oli hyvä ja riittävän monipuolinen. Perhehuoneen kylpyhuone oli erittäin pieni, mieleen tuli lähinnä ruotsin laivan kylppärit. Huone oli kuitenkin siisti (samoin vessa) ja respan henkilökunta erittäin avuliaita.

Het was even zoeken omdat op de buitenkant van het gebouw het "Baden Powel House" staat en maar met kleine letters het Meininger Hotel. Het is een soort van multifunctioneel gebouw met daarin een kindercrèche en een Jeugdherberg. We zijn vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam ontvangen. 1 van de ramen sloot niet goed, waardoor er knap wat lawaai naar binnen […] kwam. Ontbijt is goed genoeg. Bedden iets doorgezakt, maar niet hinderlijk. Badkamertje is een eenvoudige cabine en voldoet. De prijs staat in verhouding met het comfort. Devamı
