the resort was great, the only thing that i can complain with is that they failed to inform us of any existing amenities in the resort/ they failed to promote the activities in the resort.

Had a pleasant recent stay at this hotel. Staff friendly. The hotel is set around a golf course and therefore is very spreadout with transport around the hotel found to be good. Location is very nice just a short tricycle ride or 15min walk on the North side of station 1. Internet was reliable in the lobby area. Normally i wouldnt get an inroom massage […] but the massage lady that services the hotel is VERY GOOD & experienced and at a price less what some massage places downtown would charge. The only thing the hotel could work on is its Guest services customer service which i went to to find out what activities i could do. Pulling out an activities price list that didnt cover everything doesnt cut it and when i first mentioned diving they just tried calling the diving place & booking me in. a bit of information or selling it to me next time would be good (didnt even mention 50%discount on golf for resort guests which i found out on last day). Very nice hotel and setting,couple of things werent so good though,had no hot water in room for shower,internet didnt work,and breakfast was like a cattle market not enough room for so many people,the pool was stunning and so were the views also the service into town was very good.I would stay in this hotel again.

WOW, I am glad I stayed here. I discovered this place to be, not a hotel, but a resort with several villas located along a golf course, all within walking distance or readily accessible shuttle to the main lobby. Each villa has an estimated 20 rms that include a 24 hour housekeeping staff and security officer dedicated to each villa. Every time you […] step out of your room, you are soon to be greeted by one of the staff with a genuine, "hello sir or ma'am." The security keep a logbook with them at all times and they record every person that comes and goes from the place. I quickly realized a strong sense of security knowing that this place is very well controlled and anybody that does not belong there is quickly noticed. The location of this place is a 5 minute shuttle ride away from White Beach/D'Mall, where it is extremely crowded. For us, it was nice to come to White Beach during the day and leave in the evening and get away from the huge crowds to the peacefulness of our villa at the resort. As far as the room itself, we were pleased with how large the room was. We had 2 double beds, that were like king size beds. We enjoyed breakfast each day. There is a large volume of people show up for breakfast, but we were able to able to get a seat and plenty of food each day. In closing I must say that I will gladly return to this resort on my next visit to Boracay. The value for the price, the friendliness of the staff, the peace/quiet from it's location all scored high with me. Devamı

We stayed 6 nights, and played golf 5 days. The service was excellent. The shuttle service was outstanding; the drivers went out of their ways to accommodate everyone. We had a great holiday the hotel was lovely, however at the time of our stay they were in the process of building a new reception area and two new restaurants. Any future clients will have an even better experience than us because the new building look magnificent. I would advise anyone wanting to stay at Fairways to book transport from the airport […] through them as this was a much better option and worked out cheaper. The hotel is situated out of the main resort area but free transport there and back are provided every 30 mins throughout the day which was great. We felt like nothing was too much trouble the staff were very polite and efficient catering for our every need. Apart from the fact that the reception area and dining rooms were being replaced and therefor were a bit run down the hotel was extremely clean and well cared for. We would recommend this hotel it was ideal. Staying on Boracay was a unique experience for us from arriving by boat to the transport to the hotel by motorbike and sidecar it was a great holiday would love to go back. Devamı

The resort was new and beautiful. In fact, it wasn't completely finished, and so we had construction going on all day across from our room. We requested a room that was closer to the main lobby, however when we arrived we were conveniently upgraded to a room by the road, far from the lobby, pool, etc. We had to take a shuttle every time we wanted to […] go back to our room, and this wasn't convenient. The buffet was made for Asian tastes- spaghetti, rice and salad for breakfast... Also, we booked a jet ski tour through the hotel. The staff said it was suitable for 2 people and we paid. The arranged for a guide to meet us at the beach. When we got to the beach we were not met by anyone, and we had to wait for over an hour, and were only able to get answers after speaking with the local police on patrol. Finally after another group took us out, we were told that only 1 person would be able to ride the jet ski. I let my friend ride the jetski, as I'd ridden one many times before, but it was a big disappointment for us. When hotel staff were told about this they said they would contact their manager, but nothing was done to compensate for this bad experience. Devamı

Very helpful and friendly staff including the trainees. The room were very good and the golf course exceptional and quite difficult. A bit far from the action if that is what you are after but shuttles every hour help to minimise that issue. Usually about 10 minutes to D Mall. The guests seem to be overwhelmingly Korean families or couples.

This was a birthday and pre-birthday trip for me and my sister. We were given a huge room in Villa Maria. The place is lovely and relaxing, though for some parts, there is construction, however, it's kept to minimal intrusion. The shuttle service was very efficient to take us from villa to lobby and same applies to shuttle from resort to D'Mall. The […] staff were all accommodating, smiling and assisting us whenever we need assistance. The resort is upgrading as seen on the main entrance, there is a huge construction they say as the Grand Lobby and new rooms as well on that building. The food is good, especially for Filipino taste like ours. We liked the service by the servers as well, all very hospitable. The beaches, as they have 2 of them, are good and well kept, however, due to heavy winds, are also hard to maintain. We understand that, as we also experienced strong winds and breezes. The rooms, spacious, luxurious and designed ergonomically. We also liked that they have good bathrooms and the amenities are complete. Housekeeping asks cleaning up most times and they are very friendly and honest. Activities are available in the property: 2 swimming pools, the beach, there is a Zorb and zipline and we saw some guests using the segway too. It was really a fun place to be as well. Given another chance, we would definitely come back and bring more family and friends over. We enjoyed the resort so much that we wish we could stay longer next time around. Devamı

I booked this trip because it was a resort in Boracay,home of the best beach in the world. I was disappointed. The rooms are just basic, nothing special. No luxuries. The bed was hard and I woke every morning with a sore back. They do have a pool and private beach, but they have no activities you can do at the resort except golf. Many of the buildings […] are run down. They are updating, but it might be a couple years before everything is refurbished. One word that sums up the resort....CHEAP! Cheap furniture, dining ware, towels, sheets, curtains, etc. Everything at the hotel is just basic. I realize this is a 3rd world country and if your used to living in poor conditions all of the time then this would all seem pretty nice, but not by American standards. We wanted to have a late night snack and some drinks one night. We got to the bar at about a 9:50 PM only to find out they closed at 10PM. I'm on vacation at a resort and the bar is closed at 10 PM? Really? Away from the hotel every step you take you are harassed by someone wanting to braid your hair, sell you some trinkets, get you to come to their restaurant, or get you to rent a Jet Ski, ATV or take a boat ride. It is impossible to just have a nice quiet walk on the beach. I would not recommend the hotel or even going to the island of Boracay to any of my friends. It's not worth a 24 hour flight just to see the beautiful beach. Go to the Caribbean or Mexico. They’re closer, cheaper and nicer. Devamı

The staff at the lobby/reception took a while to understand our queries in English. The activities reception staff gladly offered to call back regarding our question on bike rental rates but we did not receive the information while dutifully waiting in our room for the call to come. Security guards were friendly and helpful, greeting us every time we […] left our room and offered tips on how to get to places and where to visit. Shuttle service was not timely as stated in the schedule but drivers offered to drop us off at the lobby or right to our block as requested. Hotel cleanliness was lacking as I watched a hotel staff spray sanitizer or pesticide on the lobby cushions to chase off flies. Room was kept clean but perhaps due to lack of ventilation, the room and toilet had some smell when we first checked in. Drainage of shower was not good and water often collected during shower. Room was comfortable and quiet for restful sleep. One bad point was that we were only provided 2 complimentary bottles of water on our first day and not the 2nd day for our 2 nights of stay there. Would be good if there was shuttle for other popular destinations as well, or clearer signs to lead visitors to other recommended places to visit such as Mt Luho, Puka Beach, Bulabog beach etc. Lobby and reception area were overly crowded, rowdy, and breakfast area lacked seats to accommodate all guests. The hotel is located in a peaceful environment adjacent to a nice 18 hole golf course. Good stay for golfers. The hotel is fairly well kept and the staff is nice. The meal service in the hotels only outlet is mediocre, but ok. If you want a nice restaurant, you have to look for it at D-mall and White Beach - the hotel offers shuttle service there every […] hour. Or take a tricycle (100 pesos). On my visit the hotel was quite full. During breakfast it was very crowded, and hard to find a table. If I came late, the best food was gone. The staff is friendly. At check out I got a slight feeling of an extra hand in my pocket. Check your bill carefully, beware of additional fees, and do not accept everything they claim. Overall a quite nice experience. The check-in was quick and efficient. We were allocated a basement room that opened onto a lawn area. However the room was a little dark and when we first arrived it smelt like it had not been used for a while and was not very pleasant. Storage in the room, especially hanging was limited. On the plus side every member of the staff was friendly and courteous, the overall setting, the beach, pool etc were beautiful. The on site shuttle service worked very well. The resort is perhaps 2 or 3km away from the main Boracay beach area, but hourly hotel shuttles to the centre of the 'action' didn't restrict us at all and taking a tricycle ride back after the last shuttle at 10pm was fun and there were on-site shuttles when we arrived back at 1 or 2am!!! Don't let the lobby area fool you, the rooms are much more modern. The hotel grounds are very spread out but there's an available shuttle always to help you get around if you aren't as mobile. Walking is great too. This hotel is very north of the main white sand beach so you have to shuttle to the middle part of the beach the but the hotel makes it […] very easy and frequent. I was a bit bummed not to be right in the action (those hotels weren't available) but members of my family enjoyed not being in the middle of the hustle and bustle. You can also take a tricycle to a northern part of the white sand beach for dirt cheap and walk along the beach. The kids and grandparents very much enjoyed the two lovely pools as they have an amazing view of the ocean. It's the eastern side of the island so it's a bit windy but gorgeous nevertheless. The staff are plentiful and very pleasnat and accomodating but can be overwhelming if you aren't use to it. They quickly learned my daughter and nieces names which was a very nice touch. The restaurant food wasn't anything to write home about and they couldn't seem to time the food to come out simultaneously. But the breakfast buffet was more than sufficient for everyone's tastes and complimentary for two people per room. The bar doesn't know how to make a good cocktail but I found that to be true throughout the Philippines island. I learned unlike us lushes founds in America a lot of counties don't put a lot of emphasis on alcohol. Devamı

If you don't like crowds and are looking for a quiet beach to relax, this place is good. The biggest problem with the hotel is the food, it is terrible and you are forced to go into town to eat lunch and dinner. A small annoyance is that the hotel does not provide any new toiletries beyond the first set of shampoo, soap... and you are forced to go into […] town to buy bottled water, shampoo, soap and others as you run out at the most inconvenient times. No free internet. Seems like the hotel owners or management have forgotten than good service extends beyond the initial booking of the room. When we first arrived at the hotel we had a little problem with checking in but the issue was quickly taken care of by the desk manager at the check in counter. The staff was very friendly and willing to help you with any issue or question you may have. WARNING, the tricycle drivers make up there own rates. When we asked why the change in price within 2 hours, he agreed to the 70P. It seems if you are an American and in the Philippines the price always doubles with taxi and tricycle drivers, unless you know the rates and challenge the unfair targeting of foreigners. Resort is huge with free shuttle service which is prompt and courteous. This place is amazing, great value for the money. Private beaches and a few very nice pools to swim and relax in. I would highly recommend staying at this place to my friends and family.

The hotel is a large complex of villas so you can take long walks to get to the restaurant or pool or ride the free shuttle cars that drive around the resort. The hotel is far from the central beach district of Boracay so you need to ride the free hourly shuttle to the main town where the restaurants are. There are some great qualities about this hotel, the golf course, pools, private beaches and security, free shutlles to and from the resort on the hour until 10pm. The down side is some rooms dont have phones so in our case we would have to catch a shuttle to the lobby( we were almost a kilometre from the lobby) as it is a very large area and we were […] right at the entrance. The staff seem to know nothing about what occurs or where anything is outside of the resort complex and the beautiful beaches were littered with rubbish considering there is an over abundance of staff. There are alot of extra charges wifi, towels if you choose to leave the resort for excursions, the golf course, room service, penalty charges if you stain or damage the bed or bathroom linen, their transportation outside of the shuttle runs are 3 times more expensive. We went to the spa and it was closed but a lady in the office next to it came out and got us a list of services that had no prices and said to choose what we wanted done and she will get back to us with pricing and organise for staff to come in. The hotel looks lovely on the net, but the rooms weren't very clean mostly the bathroom needed attention. The beds were a little more comfortable than another hotel we had to leave because of false description. The pool needed a good scrubbing, the spa wasn't available when required, breakfast was rubbish, coffee was just warm the so called juice wasnt […] worth drinking. Very disappointing. We had breakfast twice out of 10 days. We went into white beach and found a great cafe for brunch. The staff were very nice, the shuttle drivers were great. The shuttle only runs every hour, it's not enough needs to run every 20 mins. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. I would advise people to spend a little more and go elsewhere. I had a great stay at this resort. The staff are courteous and quite attentive to our needs. I was particularly impressed with the front desk receptionist Kim., he is courteous and earnest. Our flight that morning was quite early, he asked if we'd want to have packed breakfast as we'll miss the buffet. We had the superior room and it was huge. It was […] much larger than the average hotel. The amenities (rented a snorkel) are reasonably priced. The food at the restaurant is quite good and reasonably priced. the private beach is in a cove, the water is crystal clear and calm. Ideal for children and those preferring privacy. White Beach is crowded and the waters may have large swells. We arranged for transportation on our way back to Caticlan which included a chartered boat ride all to ourselves for a reasonable price. I'm quite impressed. I will think about going back to the same place when I'm in Boracay. The only downside is the distance ( about 5-10minute) from White Beach, that you will need a ride. We were pleasantly surprised! The rooms were big and the views were awesome. The beach we basically had to ourselves and the pools were clean and beautiful. The staff was superb, somebody's always around to cater to your needs. Shuttle was never an issue but because of the scenic views we usually opt to walk to the clubhouse for breakfast and the breakfast […] buffet was delicious. We also had dinner when we arrived and that too was great! We lucked out on this property since the white beach side has turbulent big waves during the months of june to august, on this side of the island the sea was calm and quiet. The beach did not have the annoying vendors that white beach has, so relaxing was never an issue....To sum it up,if you want to relax this is the place for you! overall the experience was pleasant...i rented 2 rooms...and the service was very good...however i had booked 2 rooms...one for 2 adults..the other for 2 adults and 2 teenagers...when checking in i was told i would....even though i had finalized paperwork and confirmation that for the 2 kids we would have to pay 700 pesos per day for them in addition […] to what we paid when we booked..i argued the point saying we had an agreement...that should be honored..after waiting 20 minutes...the gentleman ( young boy) came back and said they could wave the room rate but for the kids to eat breakfast...since it was supposed to be complimentary...their breakfast would cost 700 pesos each for each day...i laughed and said that's fine they wont eat breakfast here...waited another 10 minutes until the gentleman returned and informed me that was fine...but that the room would be inventoried and if anything was ordered regardless of the cost or they were seen eating breakfast we would be charged 700 pesos per day...regardless. Not a very warm welcome...complete jerks...we are fighting the current credit card charges because we took the kids 1 day down to breakfast but were charged 2100 pesos...700 for all 3 days...NOT HAPPY at all....:( Devamı
