Hostellerie du Pape - Eguisheim

We stayed here in November 2011 so were not able to make use of the patio area. The room was OK, nothing special but the hotel is considered one of the most expensive in town. The bed was not that comfortable and the toilet kept making a noise all night long. The entire hotel area just seemed a little dumpy, and not the charming kind of dumpy. We ate […] in the restaurant the first night and while the food and service were good, the atmosphere was sterile especially considering that there are other restauants in the village which have better atmosphere. The village is great and we will return in the summer time to visit, but we will not stay at this hotel. Devamı

Clean, comfortable, low drama, cheap, and well located in a great spot to spend an evening while traveling through Alsace. This is a great alternative to staying in uber-dollar Colmar.

We had the most wonderful 6 night stay at this Alsatian Hotel and Village . Hotel superbly situated in the centre of the Village. Extremely quiet. Very courteous and helpful staff. Dinner at the hotel was exceptional - approaching Michellin standard. Another Alsatian food restaurant that was also excellent was the Auberge des Trois Chateaux. There's a restaurant right in front of the hotel. Outside and inside tables, with reasonable prices. We walked through the village and noted the other restaurants were either too casual or too fancy. It was perfect knowing that after we ate, we didn't have too far to go to get to our room! Our room was right off the main courtyard, in the corner. It […] was sooooo cozy! Lovely, comfortable hotel, with the feel of a big log cabin. We had a quiet room at the back and there was a chilled-out terrace at the side. The location was fantastic, in the stunning medieval village of Eguisheim, close to 'Colmar, packed with local wine-makers selling delicious Muscat... We will definitely be back.

This is a really nice hotel. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Food excellent. Eguisheim is a hidden gem - really old and quaint. Whilst restaurant service staff are nice the service is laughably (on reflection we did find it very funny and will always remember this hotel) inefficient to the point of being clueless. Een gemiddeld hotel met een gemiddelde keuken. In het (mooie) dorpje zitten wel een paar Grand Cru's d'Alsace.

Très bien il y avait beaucoup de rénovation lors de notre séjour très prometteur pour l'avenir

We stayed in this hotel when autumn temperatures dropped below zero. The leyout was very good, the surroundings nice, the hotel very quiet. Good restaurant, excellent parking conditions, behind locked gates. However, the cleaning of the room was bad - one used contact lens on the bed table, the previous inhabitant's papers left on the room table, […] the floors dirty, No automatic refill of toiletries.
