The hotel room and servives were very good.I think there were bed bugs in my bed although others did not experience any discomfort. The staff is friendly and helpful.The food and the room service is pretty good.The view from the tiny balcony is refershing.All the popular places to eat,drink and shop are nearby.The sofa-bed was very comfortable. When I was looking for a hotel near to Gateway of India, I found this one. Good price, excellent location. But when we get there... Oh, God! The hotel is very old! The room I stayed is too small. The staff is not attentive and will try to get some extra money from you as always as they can with some extra charge, one "special taxi", a plug adapter that […] would cost half price... I can also mention how that bed was unconfortable - they use to join two single beds to have one "double bed". If you interested to watch tv... maybe you can find problems with it, too. The elevator doens't stop playing a terrible song day and night - you are sleeping and you will be awakened several times by that kind "lambada" song when someone enter it (and there is always someone entering it - believe me). After all, I couldn't describe it is a hotel in fact, but several small hotels into one.The only advantage I saw on it... it's the perfect view to the sea (if you book a room with this view) - It's the only thing that make me have good memories of this hotel. Mumbai is also fantastic. Find another hotel! That's my advice. Devamı

Great location, same street as the Taj hotel in the tourist Colaba area. Clean and spatious by Indian standards, with helpful and accomodating staff. Cosy and lively roof terrace for breakfast and/or meals and drinks in the evening.

Upon arrival they gave me a Standard room when I had booked a Deluxe room. Simple error or "let´s see whether does not complaint...". Anyway, I complained and they gave me the room I had booked. Room was generally clean, although with humidity patches and paint patches in the walls. Linen sheets looked like they needed a more thorough cleaning. Continental […] and English breakfast were disappointing. Service was good, although they were quite obviously expecting tip for everything, and clearly showed disappoinment when not getting it. Location was really good, close to some bares, restaurants and the Gateway of India. View was not brilliant though. The upstairs terraced restaurant was very noisy. In the mornings expect to be woken up quite early by either the bloody crows or the guys in the restaurant doing the preparations for serving breakfast. Price of the hotel and the meals looked to me excessive, although in fairness I dont really know whether they are actually competitive. Devamı

The hotel is appropriate for the location and reviews. Staff is nice and friendly. Overall, a good value for the price and location.

The hotel is in an absolutley fantastic location - short distance from the Gateway to India and the Taj Hotel. But - and its a big but - the reception we recieved on arriving at 1am was downright rude and insulting. We have travelled extensiveley - particularly in Asia and this was disgracefully insulting. The noise at night is fairly loud from chairs […] or whatever scraping on tiled floors. On the positive side th rooms are nicley furnished and kept spotlessly clean. The rooftop restauraunt has a fantastic view and the food is actually quite nice. But the noise, and the downright insulting receptionist makes it impossible to reccomend this hotel - which is a shame as otherwise it has a lot going for it. Devamı

Loud, smelly and staff not at all friendly. Do yourself a big favor and pay the little extra and stay in a top end hotel. Taxis are so cheap that it really does not make a difference which part of the city you stay in.

Very basic hotel. hotel was on the 3rd floor (above Strand Hotel). Room was clean, and linen seemed to be fresh. bathroom was basic, but that is to be expected in a 3* (ish) hotel. AC was working, but not great. Location was fantastic, and great for getting around the area.

I was surprised about the quality and appearance of this hotel given its price point. I understand that Mumbai hotels are more expensive than most in India, but nevertheless, I expected better. The hotel is on the 3rd and 4th floor of a building that is shared with another hotel. The room was clean and the A/C worked well. The staff were friendly enough. […] Although I didn't try many item, the restaurant food was delicious. The Internet access was a computer at the front desk that is shared with all other guests--and employees, it seems. The location is convenient to the Colaba area. One last complaint. I had inquired about the airport tranfer that the hotel offers. While I had no difficulties with the transfers themselves, there was a misunderstanding about the price. I was quoted a price that I believed covered transfer from and to the airport when, in fact, it was only one-way. The additional fee to transfer back to the airport was an unexpected expense at the end of my trip. Overall, I wouldn't discourage people from staying at this hotel as it was clean and safe, but it is not a very good value for the money. Devamı

Een klein, eenvoudig hotel. Nette kamer met AC, goede bedden, schoon en fris douche en toilet. Receptie en roomservice behulpzaam, vriendelijk en toegankelijk. Prima locatie voor uitstapjes door Colaba. Het dakterras waar je tot laat in de nacht goed kunt eten en drinken, biedt een fraai uitzicht op de haven en de Gate of India. nadeel is dat het wat […] geluidsoverlast kan geven in de onder gelegen hotelkamers. La posizione dell'Hotel è molto buona, vicino al Gate of India, il servizio è adeguato e la prima colazione al roof restaurant molto piacevole, per la bella vista sul mare; considerato il costo, non ha nessuno spazio per soffermarsi, a parte il roof restaurant

Goede locatie, verwacht niet te veel van het hotel qua comfort maar voor de rest prima te doen.

Skvělej hotel, umístěný nedaleko Gate of India na pobřeží Arabského moře...a za (na bombajeské poměry) výbornou cenu. Doporučuji. Martin

Das Hotel liegt super günstig. Man kann zu Fuss alles erreichen. Die Dachterrasse ist eine Oase in dem lauten Mumbai und das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. Man hat einen wunderschönen Blick auf das Gate of India.

Ett helt ok hotell nära Gateway of India, hotellet erbjöd sköna sängar, var förhållandevis rent och snyggt, låg bra till och hade en trevlig utomhusrestaurang uppe på taket med utsikt över hamnen. Jag väljer gärna detta hotellet om jag kommer tillbaka till Mumbai igen.

This hotel actually locates on the 3rd and 4th floor of the building while the Strand Hotel takes others. A little bit tricky to find the reception desk. Try to avoid rooms on the 4th floor where the restaurant and kitchen is just next door. Noise will cease after 00:30. Room needs renovation especially the shower and commode. Vi trivdes alldeles utmärkt och fick ett mycket gott bemötande. Kanonläge vid strandpromenaden och alldeles nära Gateway of India och lyxhotellet Tai Mahal. En underbar takterass med god mat och utsikt! Kan varmt rekommenderas.
