I booked this guest house expecting 4 star, I would not give it 2 stars. The room was a reasonable size but the ensuite was too small to even dry yourself after a shower. You need to have the hotels phone number for them to pick you up from the airport as it is not displayed at the airport with the rest. The goal was to find a cosy hotel of reasonable price near Gatwick airport. The Grove Guest House seemed to be that. Appeared to be a nice building, parking, breakfast, etc. The premium double room was really spacious but with furniture was not really matching the style. The bathroom also of decent size, but with very poor quality finish. Lots of noise […] from the road. The (cooked) breakfast just average. Host not too friendly either. The room was somewhat small for a superior the en-suite had been added into the room thereby reducing the size. Although the room was clean with clean linen and towels there was a distinct smell of stale water probably as a result of the shower dripping water onto the floor and underneath the poorly fitted plinth beneath the shower. The breakfast was […] adequate however the dining room also had a distinct aroma best described as the drains in a hairdressing salon. The car park at the front of the guest house was not really sufficient for the guest house and the adjoining flats. I would say that the stay was adequate and the facilities basic, and I could not recommend it. Devamı

Our room had two large windows which made it lovely and light. It was a large room with two single beds and made for a very comfortable stay. The cooked breakfast was made from high quality foods and I would definitely recommend it!

Das Hotel liegt unmittelbar an einer stark befahrenen Bundesstraße. Das gebuchte Zimmer liegt direkt zur Straße, die Fenster sind lediglich mit Einscheibenglas ausgestattet - dem entsprechend hoch bewerten wir die Lärmbelästigung. Die sonstige Ausstattung (ZImmer, Bad/WC) und Qualität der Oberflächen/ Einrichtung hat uns im Zusammenhang mit der angegebenen […] "4-Sterne Qualität" nicht überzeugt. Der Vermieter war freundlich zurückhaltend und hat unsere sofortige Abreise nicht weiter kommentiert. Devamı

WIr waren mit dem Auto angereist und ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass es anderst möglich wäre. Die Ausschilderung war nicht sonderlich gut und wir hatten erstmals Probleme es überhaupt zu finden! Zusätzlich, war bei unserer Anreise das halbe Hotel im Umbau. Der Besitzer des Hotels war jedoch sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend!! Im Preis inbegriffen […] war ein feines Englisches Frühstück. Mit dem Auto ist die Zugstation Three Bridges schnell zu erreichen und von dort ist man mit dem Zug innert 45 Minuten im Zentrum von London. Devamı
