Great hotel, some areas a bit dated but its not brand new so what do you expect. Pool could have done with a bit of cleaning, water didn't look all that inviting! Reception very helpful

We had a 2 bedroom suite in the Place on the Bay. we found the staff very accommodating, the suite was massive, comfortable and very clean and the view was stunning. It is perfectly placed just down from the bars and restaurants but I didn't hear any noise from them in the room.

"Place on the Bay" is ideally situated at Camps Bay and we choose it for this and also the friendly and efficient staff. We have stayed there many times over the last 10 years.

The hotel has a lovely location. You can have breakfast listening to the breakers on Camp's bay beach. The staff were pleasant and helpful.The rooms are a bit dated but quite cute. Fantastic location, ideal for a first time visit to Cape Town. Parking is a real bonus. Rooms were very clean and the balcony view was great. Would highly recommend to a family or couple. Staff were friendly too.

Everything very very good but refuse to have a guest put in room 307! Extremely noisy during the night as the water heater/pumps next door. The manageress was helpful and did move us to quieter room even though the hotel was very busy. I suppose that really 307 should be taken out of use permanently.

Hotel in great location, can see the beach from most rooms. Staff were warm and friendly. Very helpful. Only things to improve are quality of the showers, free WIFI codes as most other hotels we visited in the area offered complimentary WIFI. Finally the quality of the food offered in the restaurant was not that great, when ordering room service food […] would come up cold and in 3 or more stages. It's an OK hotel, byut very impersonal with no common areas and a reception that's tucked away. The studio rooms have no real view and are not good value. Go for a bigger room and get a better view. A lot of maintenance needs doing too - plugs missing, wonky lift etc. And why did the most epxensiveSouth African hotel we stayed in charge for wi-fi while […] all then others gave it ot us free? The hotel was great, the ocean views amazing! Nothing like falling asleep to the sound of the ocean a hundred yards away! I had thought, and hoped, it would be closer to V&A, as well as other conveniences. It was at the base of table top mountain, though!

Overall we were very happy with the hotel. Rooms were good, service friendly, location excellent. However, when it came to checking-out, we were rather disappointed with the hotel's attitude. On the morning of check-out we asked the front desk for a late check-out (our flight was late afternoon) and they were unable to accommodate us, saying that the […] room was needed. We found this to be unusual as there were about 3 or maximum 4 rooms occupied the whole time we were there. the place was generally nice, but for the money I came away hesitant to recommend to others. Service was generally lacking, but the room was nice and had a kitchen, if that's of interest. Bed was great. Location was across the street from the water. The restaurant is fantastic, though somehow partially disassociated from the hotel, which I didn't understand, […] so you have to pay separately. perhaps I was a bit picky, b/c the place was nice enough, i just don't think it warrants the price tag. Perfekt am Beach von Camps Bay, zwischen Sand und Hotel nur die zentrale Strasse, Lärmbelästigung ist aber nur mässig und kein Problem, dafür ist man mitten in der Bar/Restaurant Szene; nach Kapstadt 20min Pool ist allerdings ein Witz, ein 4 Meter Becken, wer also im Hotel baden und sonnen will geht besser in The Bay Hotel, aber das kostet dann auch […] 3mal soviel Devamı

Great location. Good service. Spacious and clean room. Wish the interior was better. Lighting in the living room/bath room was too bright. Style/color of the furniture was not matching. Towel rack in the bathroom needs to be moved closer to the sink.

Die Zimmer müssten mal wieder technisch grundüberholt werden (Duschtüren klemmen, Klodeckel aus altem Holz etc.) Küche dagegen sehr gut eingerichtet. Lage traumhaft, Service mittelklassig.

Ich kann nur sagen: SCHAADE! Wäre ein super gut gelegenes Hotel. Zimmer waren sehr unpraktisch eingerichtet. Badezimmer war eine Katastrophe! Meeressicht war nur durch die Eingangstüre sichtbar. Von Sauberkeit keine Spur...der Boden war nicht gut gereinigt. Vor dem Hotel war eine Baustelle. Somit mit Lärm verbunden. Fenster waren nicht dicht und zum […] Teil nicht verschliessbar gewesen. Jeg er veldig fornøyd med hotellet. Både standard, beliggenhet og service! Vi fikk beskjed om at hvis det var noe vi ønsket, skulle vi bare si ifra. Vi fikk hjelp til alt vi hadde behov for. Må bare nevne den fantastiske utsikten til solnedgangen fra hotellbakongen!
