This Is a nice enough hotel but we had a few problems that the front desk wouldn't help with like the heater being out the whole 4 days we stayed there and the housekeeper not leaving us any towels. One of the elevators was broken so the guests had to wait for the staff in the mornings to roll carts of laundry etc. on and off the elevator apparently […] what they needed to do was more important than the concenience of the guests and it happened every morning. Good convenient location, excellent staff, clean room but could be more updated and a bit larger for a family room.

Ticked all the boxes for an overnight stay.

Greeted (eventually) by reception telling me that I would get a parking ticket automatically even though I had just paid them £6 and that I would have to contest the charge - all because their ANPR was not working. Nice hotel,the staff are polite ,good location to London center from wondsworth town train station (10 mints ),but there wasn't cupboard in the room and the family room wasn't comftable for 2 adults 2childs,good Valois to the price ,the breakfast is good

Polite stuff, clean room and hotel in general. Not very big selection in breakfast. Generally an OK hotel for the one night we spent there.

Stayed 2 night family of two adults and children age and 8. The room was spacious even with four persons in the room. The room and hotel in general was clean. And the complementary breakfast was ok. Great value for money.

Reasonably priced room and parking rates, clean, good location (close to train station), good breakfast choice, M&S food next door (as part of BP forecourt)for late sandwiches, wine, treats etc. Ideal base for a family trip to London in my opinion.

Perfectly servicable hotel and not the worst location for central London. Business users beware because WiFi is an outragous £15/€17 and parking is £7.80/€8.85 so add £22.90/€25.65 to the room rate if comparing it to an alternative with free WiFi and parking.

My parents stayed here recently on the sad occasion of the passing of my Uncle. They went to visit him in hospital but he did not survive. They were happy with the hotel but there was one very disappointing aspect. The breakfast was terrible. They stayed for 4 nights. They had busy and stressful days arranging to bring Pat home to Ireland. The hotel is okay, a fair deal. A good thing is the bus station close-by (about 100m from the hotel) where you can take bus No 39 to the city centre (Victoria station, about 20 min bus drive).

room clean and comfortable, but would not stay here again as breakfast not of good standard, all self service and hot items on cold side, no bacon, poor choices. felt it was overpriced for services offered. receptionist very friendly but could have done with some help as long wait to be served, she had to deal with bar as well as booking in and out […] of clientelle. Overall: We only used the hotel as a base and was adequate for that purpose. Travel to/from centre of London is around 30 mins. It's a fairly typical budget hotel experience. Travel: Not an easy reach by train if you have cases. Tube will only take you to East Putney. Turning left out of tube station, you have a 5-10 min walk to the overground Putney […] station for a 1 stop ride to Wandsworth station (which is in a state of disrepair at the exit). Turn left out of the station and go under the bridge. The hotel is over the (very main) road. I'm not sure I would recommend arriving by train at night if you were female travelling on your own. Bus travel is a much better way to reach this hotel. Catch a 44/N44 from/to Victoria train station - it's between 15 and 30 mins depending on time of travel). Buses run 24/7. Going into London, catch bus outside the McDonalds next to the hotel. On the way back to the hotel the bus stops opposite the McDonalds (look out for the Battersea Reach housing development, you need the next stop after it's gone round the roundabout). Hotel: Staff were pleasant and helpful. Room was clean but basic as you would probably expect. We were staying as family of 3 - so room was very cramped - virtually no walking space with sofa bed in use. Little things like mould on the bottom of the net curtains, poorly mended broken toilet seats just mark it out as a typical budget hotel. Breakfast: Typical of the Holiday Inn Express, is that they don't do a full English breakfast. Fine for me, there was just enough choice, but didn't please hubby or son. I have noted other reviews that breakfast is chaotic and would agree with that. Few staff. No cutlery available on our first morning straightaway - had to wait. Refilling of food and drink trays/machines seemed slow. Facilities You have the use of a nearby pool and gym - just need to show your hotel card. Great location, 2 minutes walk from Wandsworth Town rail station. The only complaint I have about this hotel is the breakfast. Make sure you get down for breakfast as early as possible. The Holiday Inn Express is greatly located, with Wandsworth Town station a few minutes walk and with access to Clapham Junction one stop away. Our only complaint is that the room is small for a family of four (2 adults, 2 kids 4 and 7) and the sofa bed was more comfortable than the bed. The hotel is very conveneiently located, just 4 minutes walk from Wandsworth train station. You stay in zone 2 of buses, undergraound and tube region and use your weekly Oyster card to go and come back to any part of central London and Westminster. The hotel is a middle quality hotel offering room in discrete condition. Service and breakfast are quite below average; food in the morning is a low cost, poor quality stuff. Avoid the hotel if you can afford a little extra expense.

Only 3-5 min walk to Wandsworth town station. You can use zone 2 ticket for national train, tube and bus. There is Supermarket (M&S) next to the hotel which opens 24 hours. Very convenient location and you can also use a lot of buses. Hotel's Staff are friendly. Reasonably good hotel. Good access to Gatwick Airport.

Chose to stay in this hotel because it was close to the location of a friend's wedding reception. I couldn't have made a better choice. It was convenient, clean and well priced. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, lovely to chat to. I would definately come back here and recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place to stay in the area.

The location of the horrible extremely convenient for catching a train that will take you to Waterloo station (central London). The neighborhood itself is nice and wandsworth town is definitely worth walking around in itself. The staff is extremely helpful and very nice. We booked this hotel as it was well-priced and reasonably easy to get to Central London from. Check-in was quick, room was clean and comfortable. The only thing we were a bit disappointed with was the 'hot buffet breakfast'. The only cooked food available was sausages, and we were hoping for eggs, bacon etc! Otherwise, it was a good stay.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during august and whilst the staff were both pleasant and helpful the noise level was terrible. It's right beside a filling station that seems to be open 24/7 and from about 5:00am the trains start to rattle. We stay in this hotel traveling from Mid-west region of U.S. for a family vacation in London. There are four of us staying in one room , our children are teenagers. The hotel location is much more convenient than we expected. There are train services on a regular basis, plus, Victoria station bus #44 runs near the train station. We saw that this hotel had 4 stars on th web. its more like 2 stars. Room was very small, no microwave, clock, or iron. They would not even give you extra pillows! The breakfast was nice though. Location was ok, and there is a train station right next to the place. overall frustrating.

Great family friendly hotel. The service was great, promptly brought up a baby crib upon request and helpful with our other needs. The staff was very patient with my young boys during breakfast and at other times. Great location to train into London. I'm so glad we chose this hotel.

I was looking just for a bed for a night, and this has been good stay. Maybe I would wish to have a better breakfast, I was missing ham and eggs :-)

Great hotel with the added bonus that they didn't hike their prices during Wimbledon weekend. Late check in was efficient and the clerk informative about places to eat nearby. Beautifully clean room with the added bonus of tea and coffee in the room. More than adequate breakfast.

This hotel is a bit off the beaten path, but very accessible. The train is no more than 200 meters from your door. It leaves every 7-8 minutes and takes 15 to get to Waterloo. They have two grocery stores, a couple nearby restaurants, and a pub all very close. Breakfast isn't much and you have to pay for the internet....nbut the rest is great.

Mycket bra hotel men utanför City. Buss 44 tar du dig in i centrum på 20 minuter. Rummen är små för familj på 4 men därav bra pris. Frukost OK men inte mer. Sängarna var dock ingen bättre kvalite, I närheten provade vi en mycket trevlig resturang som heter The Thai - mycket lyckat drag.
