I was so very very happy with our stay at the hotel, all was very comfy, from the bed to comforter to pillows. I also thought the breakfast was very generous, and the chef made you your eggs or omlett according to your wishes. The facilities and all of the staff were so very helpful! We wanted to stay down the hill so we can go up to Big Bear in daytime. It was lots of fun & a nice hotel. Weather was perfect, we spend 2 days in the hotel pool & 2 days up in the mountain.

Overall, this is a terrific bargain and satisfying hotel experience. This is my 4th or 5th time staying at the Ayers Hotel, Redlands. I especially appreciate having breakfast included in the price for staying at the hotel. I find there needs to be a small night light in the wash and shaving area. Very pleasant lady at reception, nice room with very comfortable bed. The free breakfast was as good as the expensive buffets in more pricey hotels.

Very comfortable and clean accomodations. Easy access to freeway, restaurants and stores.

Friendly staff, lovely, updated rooms. Due to it's proximity to the highway, however, it was a bit noisy. Also...the cell connection and internet connection weren't the best. However, if you're looking for easy access on/off Hwy 10...perfect place!

Great location to U of Redlands. Staff was great, Internet connection was very poor, pooll was perfect. Very green hotel. Very safe.

still in fairly new condition, although when we went into our room, there was a strong scent of deodorizer, either someone smoked there before, or housekeeping used too much of it. there was a fire alarm at 1 am (false alarm), but everyone was widely awake. It was a very satisfying stay. The hotel is beautiful and comfortable. The pool and patio very clean and inviting we spend the whole day relaxing and enjoying the surounding setting. The breakfast is great the chef Pedro is polite and a good cook the food is delicious. From now on we will be staying in this Hotel always.

A couple were smoking heavily around the pool area. This made for a very unpleasant experience while swimming and sitting in the hot tub. The rooms were very nice and the breakfast was outstanding! I would probably stay again as I suppose the smoking was a rare event and not likely to happen again.

Excellent experience at this hotel. The rooms are pleasing in decoration and layout. I am temporarily in a wheelchair and/or crutches and the folks here were most accommodating in arranging for an accessible room and bathroom setup. Thanks!

Have stayed in a few hotels in Redlands, and this is certainly the best of the ones currently available.

Very clean , comfortable( especially the beds ) . Nice stay .

We had a great experience staying at this hotel. We were in town for a funeral. We ended up staying a second night to be with close friends and family. Many of us stayed at this location. We were able to sit and visit with each other comfortably by the pool and outside fireplace. The rooms were perfect for us and the breakfast was amazing! Would stay […] here again in a heartbeat! I stayed here with my family for two days over from Dec 30th - Jan 1st.. The breakfast area was too small and over crowded so my family and I had to eat in the room after I went and got the breakfast stuff. Only one waffle maker and I was making 4 waffles for my family and a line formed behind me. A jerk started yelling at my saying there should be […] a one limit waffle per person so he didnt have to what you want to deal with when on vacation. All the hotel room are open to the outside and not an interior hallway (I thought that meant the place should be called Motel and not Hotel... but I could be mistaken... anyway..) since the hotel room door was to the outdoor, there were a ton of people outside for New Years Eve until 2-3am and lots of people complained but no one sent anyone away so me and my family were up all night. This was truly the best conditioned hotel for the money I have ever stayed at. The amenities including spa, fitness room and free made-to-order breakfast was amazing (main entree changes daily). Only word of improvement is very limited cable channels and no pay per view movies. Staff were eager to help and cheerful. Best stay at any hotel for this price […] ever! A great stop for travelers. Location is perfect for our purposes. We travel often between our home and Phoenix and this is the midway point.

Despite the long wait for toilet paper, the hotel and guest service was great! Amazed on what services were offered at this hotel. My family and I felt like we were staying at a luxury resort with the complimentary full breakfast bar & beverage/snack at night. I would take my family here again when we visit Big Bear again.

The breakfast person Mr. Pedro is one that makes the hotel special in the area.

Newer property. Beds weren't lumpy or worn out. Large rooms. Close to freeway, but didn't hear the highway noise in my room. They have those silly compact fluorescent lights in the room so everything has that weird yellow look. You have to put your room key in a slot by the door to get your lights & TV to go on (an over engineered energy saving device). […] Its really stupid b/c if you check in after dark, you can't turn on the lights to see into the dark room until you feel around and find this ridiculous slot & figure out how to put your key in it. Then you have to leave your key in the slot or the power goes out. This dumb system means you have to remember to take your key out of the slot when you leave the room. So, no matter where you normally keep your room key (desk, wallet, purse, backpack) this "brilliant" system forces you out of your routine and gives you one more thing to remember (as if traveling isn't hard enough already these guys need to make it even more confusing). Fortunately, these's an amazingly simple workaround which the super-nerds didn't foresee; at check-in, just get an extra key and then leave it in the slot. Problem solved & engineers out smarted. The Breakfast is cooked to your order, there is a bed that makes you wish you could sleep late in clean and spacious room.

The entire area was pristine with blooming Agapanthus and Lilies and was outstanding. Our entire experience was exceptional. The morning breakfast chef was restaurant quality.

Our entire stay was perfect! It felt like a resort stay for a fraction of the resort cost. The staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful, clean grounds and rooms. Convenient access to freeway and choices of dining locations. Our rooms were extremely quiet even though they faced the freeway. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. We were more than pleasantly surprised when we checked in- the room was beautifully decorated and incredibly clean. The staff was great- everyone was very friendly and accomodating. We highly recommend the Ayers hotel in Redlands!

This is a terrific place to stay! Even though it's right next to the freeway, the rooms are well insulated and you hear nothing :) The front desk people have always been friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I love the wine, fruit, crackers and cheese reception in the evenings (Mon-Thurs) and you really can't beat the included breakfast […] in the morning! Not a continental breakfast, but a full out omelet, potatoes, sausage, waffles, pancakes, fruit, cereal...I stay here every time I need to stay in the Inland Empire. The hotel was clean, the staff curteous. Our room was spacious and well appointed. There was an included breakfast each morning which was wonderful. This is a great hotel for anyone, even small families. The best place to stay in Redlands.

I and my child enjoyed the hotel's good looking and clean room with a flat TV (HBOs but no Disney or Nick), clean hallways and facilities, heated outdoor pool (swam in late November) and well-functioning spa and hot breakfast. The location was right off the freeway (so it is not a resort), but was quiet. The fastfood restaurants were at the next intersection […] (but Tri-City mall should be taken off as an nearby attraction. It is not a typical big indoor mall - a group of stores in the neighborhood.) Devamı

Based on all the great reviews I saw on this site, I was expecting a nice comfortable night at the Ayres Hotel. I figured it would be a pretty standard business class hotel, and it was. The room was larger than most and the bed was pretty comfortable. But after I got into bed and turned off the TV the noise from the freeway - literally RIGHT next to […] the hotel, and practically on top of the room I was in - became horribly apparent. It was so loud the walls vibrated whenever a truck passed by, which was about every 30 seconds. At first I thought a helicopter was circling the hotel. There was no way I could sleep in that room, so I requested to switch, which they did within 15 minutes. I was moved to the other side of the section I was initially on, and could still hear the noise from the freeway, although much more quietly. Luckily that room also had a ceiling fan which helped drown out the noise from the freeway. Although the rooms and staff were decent, I would NOT stay at this hotel again due to the noise level. Nice clean room, somewhat boring in decor. You really should "lose" those down comforters - way too hot! I have an issue about them not being inside a duvet cover as well. Down blankets would be a much better option. The hot breakfasts were a real treat. Great selection and helpful staff. Having a few "smoking allowed" rooms would be much more hospitable […] than having guests relegated to an area that can only be described as an uncomfortable, pitiful place that demonstrates utter disdain for those who smoke. Obviously there was no thought given to the comfort factor or making these "types" of guests feel like they are welcome human beings. Devamı

I was very pleased with customer service and the attention to detail.

The room was clean, comfortable, spacious and well-appointed. Only complaint was a limited selection of cable channels (Bloomberg but no CNBC). A real bonus is the complimentary breakfast including waffles and cooked-to-order omelets.

What a beautiful hotel! Great location to the freeway, grounds were very well upkept, complimentary breakfast was amazing, nice pool and the room was beautiful & comfortable. Nice bed and bedding! Nice flat screen TV too! I would absolutely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.

My husband and I were in town for a reunion and didn't want to drive far from Redlands but from experience knew we weren't going to have much luck finding a nice hotel nearby. We were in luck. Not only was the hotel very nice, seemed brand new even, but it was very decently priced. Nothing negative to say. Plenty of room, no noise, very comfortable beds, looks newly built/renovated, staff was great....we will stay here again!

We stayed here while attending a wedding in CA. THe rooms were very nice and clean and comfy. The hotel staff was very accommodating! The breakfast was awesome - Hi Pedro! I would give this place 2 thumbs up and stay here again in a heart beat!

We stayed one night during a two-day orientation for parents of new students at the University of Redlands. Very nice rooms, and the staff was attentive and friendly. It's right by the freeway though, and while the rooms shut out the noise, the ambiance isn't the best. They've done a lovely job with the courtyard though. Unfortunately, our room faced […] west toward a parking lot and the stairs leading down into the courtyard and lobby seemed a million miles away.
