The Best Western Tropics was pleasantly surprising! We didn't know what to expect but had a lovely stay for 6 days - the staff were always so friendly and always nearby to serve you. We had a room on the top floor (the stairs were annoying but good exercise) The room was exactly what we needed, modern, comfortable, and the air conditioning was really […] good! The beds were comfortable and the room was always cleaned up every day. There was also a tv with many channels. The bathroom was modern and really nice. The pool is lovely to lie beside and relax and also we enjoyed swimming in it. The breakfast was buffet, quite a variety of food every morning. The location is good because it is not noisy and it's a good walk to D'mall and anything you need is in walking distance or you can get a tricycle if you don't want to walk. The Hotel was in great compound and has a great variety of rooms to suit your purpose. My only concern is that some of the de-luxe rooms are too close to the road and you couldn't even open your balcony door/window because of the noise. The toilet also kept getting blocked after using it a couple of times during the day and we didn't get moved to a […] new room till our final day in Boracay. But when we did get moved to a different part of the hotel the view was amazing and I am glad this hotel is a compound on its owm but only took 3-5 minutes walk to get to white beach and all the ammeniites it has to offer. I stayed with my wife for 13 days. Overall we happy on this stay except upon check in we had several difficulties such as room was not ready and not the one we requested. We have booked for deluxe king size bed and instead they gave us a superior after 3 hours waiting and discussing we got deluxe but with 2 separate beds. Best Western Boracay Resort has its good ammeities and rooms are clean. There only fall back is the wifi connectivity is really bad. Unless you are planned to be totally 'cut-off' on connectivity and solely on vacation-this is a perfect place and resort. There is no 24hrs room service and the no variety of food serve at the restaurant.

we've stayed at 6 different hotels in Boracay now and this one ranks #2 on our list. The rooms are small but nice enough and make you feel a bit like you are staying in a tree house in the jungle, even though you are only 5mins away from the beach. The staff is friendlier than in other places and the food (breakfast) was good. It's a fairly small hotel […] so the pool isn't great, and they don't offer room service but with so many great restaurants very close by you don't wanna have food in the room anyway. I stayed 8 nights in this hotel. I cant praise it enough. There was some mix up initially with my airport pick up but that was the only problem i encountered. The room i stayed in was clean, large and comfortable, it was cleaned every day . The hotel is like a little oasis around a nice inviting pool. The gardens are lovely and well maintained. Breakfast […] was very good with a great selection. Free wifi was handy although a bit slow from time to time. I did eat at the restaraunt a couple of times. I cant rave about the food but it was ok and value for money. The hotel is centrally located. About 5 mins walk to the beach and then you can head right to DMall or for a quieter stroll/day turn left and head down towards station 3. There are plenty of good value restaraunts close by on the beach. Across the road is a little supermarket which comes in very handy. Like any beach resort town, anything you buy at the shops on the beach can be at a greatly increased price, best you stock up at the supermarket.. Staff all very friendly with warm welcomming smiles. English is widely spoken and understood by all the staff. If there would be a chance for me to go back in the island of Boracay I will still consider this Hotel on my probable list of refuge while still in the Island... We spent 5n here and overall we were v.happy with the hotel. The location is excellent. It is a very short walk to the beach, there is a discount store/supermarket across the road (Price Rite) and an ATM just a minute away. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly. Great Happy Hour deals too :D My ONLY neative point is small (and a little […] fussy) is that the room was a little 'tired'. The furniture was the daggy cane variety and detracted from the room. But the biggest down-fall was the air-con. It was a hole in the wall variety that even on full (all day and night) only just managed to take the edge of the heat. To make it worse, the housekeeping staff would turn it down when they cleaned the room. The pool is not large by any means BUT it is cold, has beautiful gardens, was not busy (most people at beach I guess) and has a gradual entry at one end which made it good for my 4yo. The pluses: Restaurant and porter staff were very helpful and upbeat. Location is good, a short walk from beach and lots of restaurants nearby. Minuses: Shower had no hot water (though bathroom sink tap was working normally) - complained to reception staff who said maintenance would fix it but nothing done and no follow up. I would give Best Western Tropic a solid B. The room was ok,the pool area was very nice,and the breakfast buffett was good. Room serivce was very good. My only complaint was that the bed was too firm,but this seems to be a problem at all Filipino hotels,even 4 star hotels in Manila.

We stayed at this hotel for six nights and had a great time. Let's start with the good things: the hotel is quite large with a nice swimming pool in the middle of the garden. Our room was facing the swimming pool, so we had no problems with the surrounding traffic. The room was large, nice bed, tv with lots of american and international channels, nice […] bathroom and lots of shelves to keep your things on. There was also an in-room safety box, which we highly appreciated. The room was clean even though we constantly kept bringing in sand from the beach. We tried out the breakfast buffet a couple of times and have no complaints, there was a large variety of different foods and drinks. The staff was very friendly and helpful when needed. Housekeeping tried waking us up early on our first day, but they learned that we like to sleep longer so they didn't come knocking anymore. The bad things: the aircon was probably slightly faulty and was very very loud. We had to turn it off during the night to be able to sleep. The hotel is not located directly on White Beach, you actually have to walk for a few minutes. We didn't mind because we wanted to have a hotel with a swimming pool, but the street leading to White Beach was always very dark and smelly. We didn't feel unsafe, but uncomfortable. Especially after rain when there were big puddles all over and you had to look down all the time to try to avoid them. It might be good to carry a lamp or torch of some kind. The Best Western Boracay Tropics Hotel is a modestly priced, well-run hotel which is unfortunately located on Boracay's "Main Road". This means that there is road noise 24/7 because of the non-stop parade of trikes which move tourists from one end of the island to the other. Indeed, (Boracay is a victim of its' own success because of the unchecked, […] over-development which has reduced Boracay's appeal as an idyllic island paradise. The "Boracay Tropics" Hotel, as the locals call it, also suffers from the fact it is sent back away from the beach. It is only a five-minute walk to the beach, however, you will be dodging motorized vehicles which will emit carbon monoxide exhaust for you to breath the entire entire way to the beach. For all its' hype, Boracay's streets lack sidewalks. If I wanted to choke on smog, I could just visit Manila. Btw, the Boracay Tropics Hotel lacks an elevator, so be prepared to climb stairs (four floors)! Devamı

Changed hotels from Crowne Plaza Prince because of better reviews. Cost an extra 20 USD or so per night but was not really worth it. The breakfast was only marginally better but I still wouldn't eat it. It's about 5 minutes or so walk to the beach. Decent pool area with some grass. A bit dated. Would not stay again unless it were a better rate. My family and I recently stayed at the Boracay Tropics hotel and from the moment we walked in it was just perfect. Friendly,helpful and smiling staff,all willing to go the extra yard to make our stay memorable. The hotel is just a 3 minute tricycle ride from D Mall in Boracay (where the action is) and the tricycle ride itself is part of the appeal of […] the place,so, no hardship there. With a buffet breakfast,beautiful gardens and pool,wonderfully comfortable and well appointed rooms,we thought it was just perfect. The staff get ten out of ten from us. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel to my friends and I intend to go back there myself.From an Australian perspective Boracay is almost an undiscovered treasure. Yes,quite a few Aussies go there but I think there are many who are almost unaware of this Island treasure....The Island and the Hotel will hold many fond memories for our family. Hotel is located about 3 minutes from White Beach. Be prepared that the walk is not very scenic, though. It is down a potholed brick road that floods when it rains, and you'll be dodging tricycles and motorbikes. However, that description applies to most of the hotels near White Beach. There are lots of restaurants, etc., within easy walking distance. […] It's also easy to hire a tricycle at the the hotel's front entrance. These will take you anywhere on the island for a few dollars. The hotel provided a convenient airport transfer from Caticlan, which is a good idea if you've never been to Boracay before. For the price we paid, our room was ok. We had a pool view, but some of the rooms overlook what is literally a huge dirt pile. Breakfast was also good for the price we paid. The spa staff were very friendly and professional. You can get a cheaper massage on the beach, but it's more relaxing to get it at the hotel since it's air conditioned and quieter. The front desk staff was friendly, unless you did not follow their policies precisely. For instance, you have to leave a deposit for beach towels. Fine, but they got very upset that we didn't return our receipt with the towels. It seems unreasonable to ask people to carry a receipt around the beach all day. We also didn't have our Expedia printout when we checked in, and they were very annoyed, even though I had my credit card, ID, and itinerary number. We also inquired about snorkeling, and they were not helpful at all. Devamı

Hotel is in a great location. Close to the beach and shopping. Massage is cheaper outside the hotel and is great! We ate at the restaurant in the hotel and they were very accomodating to special dietary needs of our group. Only complaint is they kicked us out early - at Noon and shuttled us back to the ferry to go to airport way too soon. It only takes […] about 15 minutes 30 minutes tops so use your time wisely! D' hotel was amazing. We did'nt know what to expect. D' boss & d' manager are great. My wife Adel, met the owner in a very unusual way, my wife thought she was a guest alone having breakfast & introduced herself, d' rest was history! She was awesomely lovable, very conscientious & very respectable amongst her peers. This hotel instill to their employees, […] camaraderie is always in process. Home growned services was excellent, derived from no other than the staff continual motivation to excel owners' expectations. Thus; what then! Able to attend their yearly Christmas party: dance numbers, games, singing, prizes, etc... .A surprise # announcement, as expected, from an almost forgotten ritual of giving, so many to share... THERE yearly BONUS! Motivations among them are contagious, down to each family, no one is left behind. We could never imagine the services/accomodations/coordinations given us upon arrival in Kalibo. This is our 1st time - Boracay Tropics, we will be back soon, hoping no showery forcast, our second time around. I would like also to mention, D' manager, a valuable asset sa BWBTropics, keep it up!
