Quality Suites Downtown - Colorado Springs

My wife, kids and I were all very impressed by the size and comfort of the room. There was more than enough room to fix six of us comfortably. 2 bathrooms and 2 TV was quite a surprise. In addition to the room satisfaction, we were also very please with the complimentary breakfast. I didn't have time to carefully select my hotel option. I glanced & saw wifi - but it's not available in the rooms. This was very inconvenient & I will drive further to have convenient access to wifi.

We stayed there just recently with our 4 kiddos and we were very pleased with our stay. As a miltary family we have stayed in quite a few hotels and we will def. A very convenient location for taking my son to the OTC. Extremely helpful staff. Great breakfast. I even enjoyed the free pass to the YMCA while he was training. We would stay here again.

The hotel was fine, but there are a few things you should know before staying. There is no smoking in this hotel and I could not smell anything in my room, but the hallways and main areas of the hotel smell smokey and stail. Also, the two rooms are open to one another, so you can't close a door to make bedroom seperate. There are cupboards on your kitchenette, […] but they are empty. Our family was passing through Colorado Springs on vacation and found this place. The suite as more than spacious enough for our five family members, and the hot breakfast the next morning was far better than most hotel breakfasts! The hotel was ideally located for me as I was traveling south on I-25, looking for US-24 the next morning. The hotel was easily visible and accessible from I-25, and just one exit away from US-24. The lobby was ok, so I was surprised when I walked to my room to see how old and outdated the hall and stairways were. I was wondering what I had gotten […] myself into, only to be pleasantly surprised by my spacious, clean room. But that's where the pleasantries ended. When I walked into my room, the sliding glass door to the false balcony (I was on the second floor) was open. I called the front desk, and he said that sometimes the housekeeping crew leaves the doors open to air the room out, but still, it was very unsettling to find my room "unsecured." To be honest, after checking all the closets and looking behind the shower curtain about 3 times, it still creeped me out. I was in a suite with 2 bathrooms, and the "master" bathroom, next to the beds, had a leaky toilet that ran non-stop all night, and wouldn't flush. Between being creeped out and having to listen to the toilet run all night, I hardly slept at all. And since all that put me in a bad mood, it was easy to pick on other things, like small lumpy pillows and small bathtubs with shower heads that were too low. I think if the door hadn't been left open, and the toilet hadn't run, I would be giving a glowing report about this hotel. But I had a bad room that left me with the impression that it was way overpriced. (I should add here that I'm sure I could have requested a different room, but I was too tired to go through the hassle.) Overall, it was one of MY worst hotel experiences, but I would still recommend it to other travelers, as long as they get a better room! Devamı

Card access had all kinds of trouble...breakfast was good though...but they make u walk out of hotel to access the Clarion breakfast area....which can be cold, windy during morning No HOT water!!!

Front desk staff was very helpful, rooms quite comfortable & a lot nicer than we expected (especially for the price). Room was nicer in person than in the pictures. Will stay here again. Really enjoyed the hot breakfast buffet in the mornings.

Room was good but smell was obnoxious. Water temp dropped mid shower and fixtures were loose. Over priced for the condition. Good at half the price.

The hotel was nice for the price, I really enjoyed that we had 2 bathrooms in our suite! The neighborhood was a bit scary though. My husband walked to the store across the street and it was a bit scary, bars across the windows, all items behind locked doors.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and they had a shuttle that will take you anywhere downtown and to/from the airport. The location is great and the restaurant food is delicious. The breakfast buffet was also great, with a full spread of hot breakfast items. Worth the price.

The room was on the freeway side of the building... third floor... excessive freeway noise even with the windows closed. The room (and hotel) is obviously old/dated... The hotel is combined with another hotel equaling the size. Felt like a labyrinth! On the positive, the breakfast was good.

Easy to get to - right off I-25 in Colorado Springs. Located far enough away from downtown to avoid parking issues but close enough to still get there easily. Hotel did show its age in some places, but the room was nice and comfortable.

Best Breakfast around! Gourmet chef made homemade salsa from scratch every morning. Breakfast burritos, fresh fruits, not to mention the eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, biscuits, gravy, waffles...I rest my case! Homeless shelter nearby. One guest had car broken into on our first night. Thief stole precious family momentos in a closed up box. Had to make […] sure NOTHING in cars at night. Room was a suite and very large. Happy with size. Last two days there (we stayed 5 nights) no-one cleaned the room! Did not change sheets (we marked them). Just made up beds and left! No coffee, no cups, no towels, etc. It was crazy and we had been tipping well each morning and leaving it on the bed. Maybe different staff??? Front desk very slow to respond to things we needed. After 2 hours went to front desk myself to try and collect items. Finally delivered them in another 30 minutes or so. Overall still a great value for money and the breakfast was amazing! Friendly staff working the breakfast as well. Would stay there again more than likely. Devamı

While the hotel was very nice and the room suite exceeded our expectations finding it was another story. There was no directions with the confirmation and the only number was not the hotel but reservations who kept putting us on hold then dropping off. Great place to stay for us (family of four). They just completed the indoor pool and spa (salt water though). Large spacious rooms, very clean. Breakfast was great (the biscuits and gravy were top notch). Will definitely stay there again when in the area. Surrounding area is fine, I don't know why people are saying the area is the not the greatest. […] While there go to Phantom Canyon brewery for some good beer and food. Or for lunch go to Trinity brewing company on Garden of the Gods Ave. Both are excellent!! Bathrooms are right out of the 70s with a chocolate colored bathtub and toilet. Groovy! Devamı

this hotel is being renovated so with that in mind, it is not fair to be too hard on them. Our room was nice and clean, we had plenty of room for the 4 of us and the building was quiet at night. It was a good deal for the money we paid, esp because we had a suite and the 2 bathrooms were great. there was a major problem with the shower water temp -- […] one minute it was freezing the next, scalding hot. the breakfast was great and the people at the hotel were very friendly and accomodating. the surrounding neighborhood isnt the greatest but the hotel itself is very close to many attractions, restaurants etc. overall, its not the nicest place ive ever stayed but as i said, its a work in progress and great for the price. This hotel was awesome, price was great, room was huge, two bathrooms made it even more awesome, and beds were really comfortable. Great Hotel!!! Highly recommended. Only approx 10 minutes from the US Air Force Academy!!

My fiancee and I had three kids with us and were planning to swim at the YMCA with vouchers that we would get from the hotel since the pool was not scheduled to be open. We loved the room! It was so spacious. The suite had two FULL bathrooms, two TV's, a king bed, a pull out couch and two separate rooms. It was great. Our kids got to watch their movies and play in the living area while my husband and I got to plan our next days activities or just laze around in the bedroom area. The only two drawbacks were the lack […] of lighting in the rooms and the size of the elevator. (our family of 5 barely fit in it.) We also would have liked the pool to have been open, but, to be fair, they are in the middle of a large remodel and the new pool was opening the following week. The breakfast was always delicious and the location was wonderful. Within a few minutes of most locations. And the staff was always helpful and extremely polite. Highly recommend this hotel.
