Flagship Oceanfront - Ocean City

The hotel is a little older, but right on the boardwalk, so the location is excellent! What impressed both my husband and I was the friendliness of the staff. The front desk members, 2 of them, went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. One gentleman even used his cell phone to call around for us to find a restaurant with all you […] can eat crabs, behavior that is seldom observed from our area. We are planning on returning to OC in 2 weeks, and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else but the Flagship Oceanfront! Devamı

I stayed on a Friday-Sunday weekend. Both nights we had a group of kids next door blaring music and being very loud (banging doors, running up and down the hallway, etc.). I called the front desk and next thing you know, quiet. I had to do this twice during our stay. I was pleased with the customer service at the front desk. They took care of it quickly. […] I was not pleased with the fact that we were put in a room with a connecting door to the other room where the kids were...this was the main problem. The front desk people were nice. It is at the end of the boardwalk so its a little far but it was a lot quieter and not as crowded. There was a bar right below the hotel so that was nice. They had to shut the water off in the middle rooms, so they moved us to a beach front room instead of a side view room at no additional charge, so that was very nice […] of them. We had a great time here at Flagship Hotel. I came during the Susan B. Komen Breast Walk on April 22,2012, Even though it rained throughout the day, My daughter and I enjoyed an relaxing swim in the indoor pool here @ Flagship . Great Value for the price I paid :)

Convenient, EXCELLENT front desk service, beds ok, clean. Older styling (green bathroom, vanity front screwd closed, limited outlets, several lights but dark for reading-bring a book light). Good water pressure Kitchenette older feel cabinets but functional. No storage space for food Only steps to boardwalk but you can't take luggage trolly to room-only […] up & out of elevator. Hotel is older and is probably in need of of renovation in certain areas. Furniture is outdated. I would however tell anyone of what it have written. It certainly is not the wrose hotel I have stayed in.

We stayed 2 nights at Flagship Oceanfront and was pleased with the overall "quaint" experience. This is an older hotel but is well maintained and clean. We would be happy to stay at this location again as the boardwalk is right there and all you might want or need (dining, events, etc..) are all reasonably near by.

I stayed in your hotel for reach the beach cheer event so was unable to take advantage of the many enjoyable activities and it was cold but I imagine there is a lot to do and the set up seems fun

The hotel was average in appearance, nothing spectacular, but very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to help whenever asked, and were very polite. The location was perfect, on the board walk, and close to alot of great places. I would definetly stay again, and recommend it to anyone who wants a nice place to stay on a limited income. Had a great time. Our children and grandchilderen were able to visit and play on the ship. We were able to get up early and walk the beach and see a wonderful sunrise. The motel is a little older with the carpet worn in spots; but overall the motel was great.

elavator small and slow. When we got to our floor we could not walk side by side. very narrow and carpet looked very worn. Was not told boardwalk was closed in front of the hotel.

Our stay was ok. Loved the convenience to the beach and boardwalk. Only wished there was a way to expand the parking lot. Because it was the tail end of the season, I believe is the only reason we were able to find parking in the lot.

Overall hotel experience was positive. Nice and clean; reasonably priced; could do with minor upgrades.

Nice pirate ship play set surrounded by walls so kids can't escape, which is nice. The pool is 24-hours which is great because we never seem to make it to the pools that close at 9pm. The hotel is right at the stop for the tram, so if you want to take that down and back (3$ a person) it's real convenient. We only stayed a couple nights but the hotel […] served its purpose and was big enough. We had an ocean"front" efficiency. It's not really ocean front, but ocean view because most of the rooms are not parallel with the ocean so you have to turn right or left to see it off your deck. The room was kept up enough and the cleaning lady stopped by and provided as many towels as we needed. The efficiency has dishes, oven, microwave, fridge, sink, etc. The room was dated, and the beds were VERY worn in. Layout is a bit cumbersome in places because you have stairs (2 or 3) on the same floor. Outdoor pool was closed because it's after Labor Day. Overall, was a nice stay, relaxing, good enough. Next time I will get a place closer to the action, on a lower street (this one is 26th) for the same price, since their were tons of vacancies. Devamı

Very pleasant surroundings, but poor soundproofing in walls and door to hallway. Annoying when someone uses the hallway outside your door to hold meetings or to have loud cell phone conversations at 6 am. Overall liked the room and location.

We chose the hotel for the great price and were very pleased with the location and the service. We enjoyed the outdoor pool, the indoor pool, and the hot tub. The hotel was within a short walking distance to good restaurants and a bike rental company. We had a wonderful time and had absolutely no complaints about anything at all.

The hotel is rather outdated but they provide bath & body works products and it was a good location. The staff was also very nice. Well worth the price!

Hotel Flagship Oceanfront is the great place to stay!

Rooms were nice, great view, bathroom was decent. Front reception could use some work, but the facilities were nice. Hotel is literally on the boardwalk and you can chill by the pool or use the indoor facilities...

Hotel was tidy, the staff was helpful and for the money, you couldn't beat the location. Right at the beach and boardwalk, plenty of things to do and places to eat and drink. I would stay again.

Location good for Fishtails and Phillips!

This hotel was really one of the worst. It was the actual room itself. The picture presented on the site did not represent the room at all. The amount of money that I paid was in no reflection to what I received. There was a bug crawling on my floor and once I pulled the covers back on the bed, there was a bug leg sitting right there to greet me. A […] complete mess! I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. I thought it may be a hole-in-the-wall but since my son and I were only staying two nights I took a chance. The room was large and clean, as long as you don't look under the air conditioner. The bathroom was clean and stocked with soap, shampoo, mouthwash, etc... The kitchenette has dishes & glasses. The only […] problem was the 2nd day, the pool suddenly closed around 3:00PM and everyone had to leave. The maintenance man said the water was "not good for our health." My son and I went back to the ocean and sat for another hour or so but then decided we needed showers and food. When we got back to our room there was a note under the door that the hot water was out of order for the next few hours. We sat around for a few hours...unshowered. Unfortunately, hours went by and after several calls to the front desk we decided to bath in hot water from the stove, microwave & coffee maker. Sweat, sand, suntan lotion and bad pool water make for a REQUIRED shower at the beach. We finally made it out for dinner some what clean. We returned home at 11:30PM. Still no hot water. Called the front desk and were told we would have it back by morning and that our room would be reimbursed for the night. I was impressed. The next morning we had hot water and when we checked out we were told we were only charged for the first day of the two. I was happy with the comp. Unfortuantely, I have been home for quite a few hours and yet to see a "refund" for my second night. I may have been too quick with my initial good feeling about this hotel and the management. I'm reserving my feelings until I get my refund. Teaching your son to take a bath out of a pot of hot water is not a good vacation experience. Devamı

Service & location were good. There was a smell i the hallway & the toilet leaned to one side. Maintenance is needed to this room & the hallway which was on the first floor.

Close to the ocean that is the only advantage. Others like rooms with flies as soon as enterd. Bathroom sink water logging and can be rectrified before checking in. Front desk people has a vow that they should not smile or talk nice. Requested for early checkin which was around 2:15 when we reached and informed that we have to wait till 3pm. They take […] hardly any time to clean, I don't know why they can be polite. Since I booked through hotel.com, req for a bill when checking out. You didn't book through us, go and ask where you booked they will give you the bill. I have done hundreds of time this is the first time I was harassed. If this is the case why we have not been informed earlier and paying enormous amount and getting harassed for none of our mistakes. This is not it, We were unable to sleep for couple of nights due to the next room party and wild behavior which was informed to the front desk. He was polite and thanked us and took care of the issue. One thing they have to understand in the front desk, that they are in the hospitality industry and they have to be polite and nice because we are their guests not a customer. Devamı

Had an issue with a gentleman who was not in favor of interracial relationships. His balcony was directly across from ours. He tried to stare us down so we would go in. Instead I went down and told the front desk. Manager came to our door wanted to check out who it was. He knew of the man. I wanted our room moved. That didn't happen. Disappointed. The Hotel is in dire need of repair. You can smell urine when you walk down the hallways, and the floors in the hallways feel like they are not far from caving in. As far as close to Ripley's, and the amusement park, well I really don't consider myself being at the other end of the boardwalk close especially when the other end is about 2-3 miles away. […] I can say though I will for certain and this is at 100% that I will never be staying at this hotel again. The Flagship is close to beach and boardwalk area. The hotel is a little dated but the staff was very pleasant and the room was clean. There was an open hole in the ceiling of our bathroom. I was apprehensive about booking this hotel after reading some of the reviews, but the price was right so I took it. I was pleasantly surprised. There are numerous amenities, from a microwave and fridge in the room to an awesome hot tub and pools both indoors and out. The boardwalk is right behind the hotel, which was also a nice surprise. Paid $364 for two nights on a weekend; not bad rate for ocean view, boardwalk hotel. Service and employees were great- very friendly and responsive. Conditions of the room were a little lackluster the first night. Air conditioning would not work, due to someone having stolen the sensor off the door. Additionally phone and remote were both gone. Didn't […] have those until next day, but air was fixed that night after second complaint to front desk. I have no complains at all about this hotel located right there by the boarwalk , nice view of ocean too in the middle of everything however the beds are small size ones and also wish they have HD tv common this is 2011 and technology is taking over overall nice hotel I recommended it n would stay there next time

Nice room- efficientcy with micro/stove/frig very easy and quiet in early may

The hotel is nice from the outside looks maintained, and entering the lobby is well kept. The rooms are colored nice, but the carpet could have been cleaner. The bathroom was clean and fresh , you could see though there was corrosion around some of the fixtures where water was dripping. Otherwise the room was very nice had an ocean view and pleasant. […] The boardwalk in front of the hotel was a nice surprise. It took us to where we wanted to be along the shore and at the inlet. The Flag ship ocean front was great had wounder full service its located at the very end of the board walk has a pool hot tub and tanning bed meet all my expectations would love to return there soon. Reviewed by Country!

Upon entering my room for the first time, I was greeted by a dirty wash cloth in the bathroom sink. Although everything else in the room appeared to be clean, this finding immediately caused me to question how well other areas in the room had been cleaned. A great location with a WONDERFUL and responsive staff. The pictures on their website are a little outdated; however, everything was open and accessible even though we went prior to the summer season. The one major issue we had on our stay was that the sound proofing/insulation between floors and between rooms is very poor. You could hear people running […] in the halls and loud TV's and voices of inconsiderate neighbors until the early hours of the morning. It is because of this reason, we will not choose this hotel again. With younger children, it is hard to get them settled and to sleep with neighbors yelling and TV's up loud until 1:15. Devamı
