This hotel was very convenient being at the 'loop' and so we could easily get to many of the best sites especially Grant Park and the Millenium Stadium for the Blues festival. Also Sears tower and many of the Art Deco bulidings nearby. The staff were very helpful with all our queries about sightseeing etc etc. Nothing was to much trouble. The facility […] to print off our boarding cards was another useful and welcome convenience. The Elephant & Castle 'pub' next door was also very convenient for all meals which were good pub fare. Only stayed one night- location was good. Near to Millenium Park. Room very basic, no extras, however very clean and as we only needed bed for the night was adequate. Do not feel would have suited for a longer stay however. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

The hotel was perfect for my needs. Business, right location, etc. The room was small, but that wasn't an issue. The food is great in the restaurant!

I was in town for a conference. This was close to the train to the airport and lots of food options even late night. Everyone was nice as well. The room wasn't huge but it was perfect for a quick stay. I had room to workout and keep all my things safe.

This is an excellent hotel in a very central location making it very easy to get to numerous sites in the downtown area. The staff was very accommodating and knowledgable making for a great stay. It's also very reasonably priced for what you receive and the location. I'd stay there again, no doubt about it!

The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Chicago. The hotel rates are very competitive and parking is only $22 per night. Jackson subway station is only minutes away. I will definitely return to this hotel if I come back to Chicago.

I stayed at this hotel when it was under the "Club Quarters" name and promised to never return, so it was a disappointment to realize I booked the same hotel under a different name. My fault for not looking past price and convenient locations which are the two great things about this hotel, plus they have an above average workout facility. Very good service and the location of the hotel is fantastic. Service was very good and the employees were friendly. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The only minus is the room was incredibly tiny. All in all it was a very good weekend get away.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Central Loop Hotel for a weekend getaway for my birthday. We had most of the typical tourist-y things planned, like the Shedd Aquarium, Willis Tower, shopping, etc. The hotel on it's own was great, just not the best location for us. The staff were wonderful. The room was small and no chairs in it. After a long day sitting on the bed was not at all relaxing. The bar was a blast. Very close to the theater.

This place was great..before checking in I was a bit concerned about the size of room based on some reviews. The good news was that the room was not that small. Very comfortable for 2 people in a queen size standard room. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Walked about 4 minutes from Union Station.

Great location, attentive staff, convenient bar and food. Reminded me of a dorm room - complete with the rowdy guests. Dumpsters being emptied just outside our third floor room on Sunday morning added to the experience.

Never stayed at a club quarters before so didn't know what to expect. While things felt a little small, it was everything I needed in a business trip... clean, quiet, easy internet connectivity, filtered water available, gym,... all in a great location.

I stayed at the hotel for business. I took the train into Chicago, so convenience to Union Station was great. Had decent, but not great restaurant selection within a block or two. The hotel restaurant was quite good. My only real complaint is no outlets by the side of the bed. That is a common complaint I have with many hotels. I don't know how this hotel had a four star guest rating. It's appears to be a set of small efficiency apartments that are sold as hotel rooms when not rented. I'm not sure what the "club" part of it is, as the hotel had two different names. The room was about 90 degrees when I arrived in early spring (cold outside) with no way to cool it down. The […] night manager was no help and refused to do anything about it. If you're looking for a box to sleep in and can get it for a lot less than I was paying, then it might be worth it, but the rate I had for the nights I was there was almost as much as I would have paid at a much nicer hotel down the street. I enjoyed staying at this hotel. Staff were very attentive and I felt that the hotel was designed with innovative hospitality and convenience in mind. For example, using kiosk's for checkin and checkout; providing self-serve filtered water replete with plastic containers next to the elevator. I also liked the contemporary décor. We were VERY impressed with everything about this hotel. Amidst bustling downtown, it was a haven with an impeccable staff, cleanliness, and quietness (yes! quiet in downtown Chicago! The concern of the staff was genuine. I stayed in a "small room", which seriously is the size of a dorm room at best. However, the purpose of the room was to have a place to sleep and shower, and it definitely served that purpose. It was clean and comfortable. You can hear people entering their rooms and the doors closing, which was a little weird. Central Loop very accurately describes this hotel, it's very convenient to everything in the loop. The hotel and room were very clean. The flat screen TV was rather small but fine. My only complaint is the air conditioning barely worked. In Chicago it was 70 degrees the day I arrived, but only 30 degrees the day I left. This hotel is ideal for people who just need a clean and comfortable room and aren't looking for luxury. The rooms are small but adequate, the decorating simple and not over the top, and there are few frills. Most importantly, the service is courteous and the coffee is good.
