Anchorage Beach Resort - Fiji (tümü)

Great location for granddaughter's wedding which all went to plan. 15 minutes from Latoka and Nadi and boat trip to Beachcombers Island. One lesson learned make sure taxi driver has a meter.

Very relaxing beach resort, beautiful pool and surroundings but dissapointing beach and sea swimming. Nice restaurant by the pool with continental breakfast and good choice of lunch and dinner. ancourage hotel is right beside the beach and looks awesome from the outside... the staff there are so useless and hopeless..to start off there was no menu in the room.when i called in roomservice and asked for the menu to be dropped off it took them 45 minutes when the restaurant was 2 minutes walk from my room..i had to call the the restaurant two […] times and still nothing was done and than i ended up calling the reception and thats when they dropped off the menu...after that we placed and order for three meals and after one whole hour i ended up calling the restaurant again and that too at 9.30 at night and the lady at the counter than tells me they had run out of lamb racks and no one bothered to tell us that..pathetic service..and than i called in the reception again and tried talking to the duty manager but the recptionist wouldnt let me and its only when i told her that i was not going to pay for the food if it didnt get dilivered in five minutes is when they gotme my food..thats just un called for...i have stayed in three more hotles in nadi before and the only reason i wanted to saty at ancourage was to try something new but that was just mistake by me...never going back there again and wouldnt recomend anyone else to go there either..the hotel staff need a majour attitude change...also aircon wasnt cooling in our room and the fan was not going either...when we called the reception and told them no one even came over to see what the problem was..hopeless service... We booked our accomodation for 5 days online while we were in australia through hotels.com. When we arrived in Fiji we went to the resort twice to check if our booking went through and the staff reasured us it did and as we had booked two conecting rooms we were told by the staff that we will get conecting room when we arrived for our stay. Guess what? […] When we arrived on the booked date we wrere told my two girls were going to stay at the last room upstairs and we were given a room downstairs, which was filthy, dirty. The bathtub was filthy as well. I went back to the reception and refused to take that room. after few words then they decide to give us the very first room upstais. There were few rooms empty, not sure why they didnt give us what we booked. While our stay at the resort few things i noticed - cleaners that cleaned our room daily were very lazy. I saw them brooming and moping the floors as if they didnt want to clean but were forced to, just cleaned here and there not thorough. Toilets got only cleaned after 4 days of our stay when i had to compalin, Bathtub never got cleaned. All the dirty clothes were picked up by the cleaners and left outside the rooms either on the ground or on a chair. Nothing is provided for the cleaners to carry dirty or clean sheets and towels. Shower pressure so slow, will probably take you 20 minutes to have a 10 minute shower. when reported a maintenance guy came up to check and mentioned to us that thats how much presure we supposed to keep. TV- only 3 lowzy channels which are- ABC australian channel, Sports channel and Fiji one. Thank God we took our laptop to keep us busy. Asked for one of the activities advertised were told they dont do it any more. Defenatly if you cant walk up and down the hill dont book this place on mountain veiw. Its really difficult walking up and down the hill every day.I have to say the veiw is amazing, food is great, pool is fun, and some staff are friendly. Very lowzy activities for each day held Devamı

Room was really uncomfortable. Room wasn't sanicited everyday. Staff weren't helpful. Hotel was only place to eat. In restaurant took so long to get food. View was nice.

this resort was more than we expected lovely people look after you. not the best but not far removed .some holiday people might be slightly disappointed but they would complain staying @4star resort . value for money we thought .

We jumped in a taxi just 25FJD to the hotel from airport, the check-in was fast, room was huge and very clean. Staff were very friendly especially afternoon/night staff at restaurant. Food was fine - Kokoda was great! - menu would be a little repetitive if stayed for 5 days or more. Very clean, comfortable room. Staff friendly and eager to please. Food was great, music/intertainment fun and relaxing. Truely a tropical paradise. We would definitely recommend the Anchorage Beach Resort to our friends and family, and we would love to come back again!

Very nice rooms, certainly the largest we have seen in Fiji. Friendly staff no beach but great pool. Internet not worth using very slow, breakfast basic but enough. No place for a two week Honeymoon but great for two, 3 nights stopover if you are travelling on a rental or bus around the Island. Sister Hotel of the Beachcomber Island Resort, therefore […] daily boats depart for daytrips from Anchorage to the Isl. Hotel is in a not very convenient location (about 30 to 40 min from Nadi). Hotel can be reached by taxi or shuttle about $30 next public busstop about 2km and about $2. Overall the place itself is beautiful, rooms and the staff made it very enjoyable. Devamı

This hotel was run down, the villa was not clean (used dishes in the room), the beds were unmade, therewas no toilet paper in the bathroom and dirty linen was piled outside the front door. The service was slow and required a lot of prompting from us. The only reason I chose this hotel was for its proximity to Vuda Point Marina. This was our first visit to Fiji and I will say the staff here were the best, couldnt do enough for you, be that extra pillows or fixing the aircontionor because it was blowing out hot air. But the whole place needs to have some money spent on it, in way off fixing the decking around the resturant, fixing the pool area. Plus many other things. Location, between Nadi and Lautoka, is great for boat trips from Port Denerau. Hotel provides heaps of these trips, with hotel pick-up. But do not stay in the resort all the time, there is no beach! We stayed in huge villa with jacuzzi, but there were some details that annoyed us. Like air-conditioning that was located directly on the wall opposite […] bad - so the cold air was blowing straight to your face! Great if you want to get cold... Nach anfaenglichen Schwierigkeiten haben wir ein tolles Zimmer bewohnt und haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen.

L'hôtel est situé dans un coin assez isolé et avec un panorama sympa sur la baie où se situent Nadi et Port Denarau. Petite déception car il n'y a pas de vraie plage, et le bungalow bord de l'eau que l'on avait réservé s'est avéré être un bungalow duplex qui ne donnait pas directement sur la mer. Aménagement des chambres très bon et très spacieux. Dommage […] que le ménage des chambres ait été un peu léger (oubli de serviette, vaisselle non faite). Jolie piscine et restaurant/bar sympa avec belle vue directe face à la mer, bonne cuisine avec du choix et des prix raisonnables. En revanche le petit déjeuner inclus est assez décevant. Très bonne mention par contre pour le staff qui est souriant et serviable. Devamı

Mukava hotelli jossa hyvä henkilökunta. Huoneesta näkyy todellakin meri! Aamiainen vaatimaton. Kaikki ei tällä saarella toimi kuin Euroopassa ja aikataulut heittävät. Sokerijuna viihdyttää vieraita iloisella ohiajollaan, ruo'on keruuaikaan.

Nous gardons un très mauvais souvenir de notre séjour dans cet hotel. Un service hotelier et restauration inéfficace, divers éléments de la chambre en panne (clim, lumière...), jamais de serviettes de piscine, nourriture vraiment très passable. Le plus grave; chambres non sécurisées, nous avons été cambriolés, le management n'a pas fait preuve d'efficacité […] pour résoudre le problème, pas de geste commercial. Autre grave problème : l'agence de location de voiture AIMS, prescrite par l'hotel, est malhonnête. ELle a tenté de nous facturer un jour de plus. D'autres clients de l'hotel nous ont dit avoir également des problèmes avec AIMS. de nombreux clients sont partis avant la fin de leur séjour et ne semblaient pas satisfaits non plus. Devamı

Hôtel tout confort. Restaurant correct. Belle piscine vue mer. Le seul point faible est l'éloignement de Nadi. La location d'une voiture est indispensable pour ceux qui ne souhaite pas seulement faire du cocooning.
