The inn has a nice location on the river (as long as you're on that side!) and the rooms are not fancy and a little cramped, but not bad, although the biggest beef we had was that the windows didn't open and it smelled a bit as if there had been a smoker in that room at some point, so that wasn't as nice as it could have been. The highlight though, […] was the adjacent restaurant named Storms, which somewhat made up for the deficiencies at the inn. The staff were pleasant and there was breakfast supplied in the morning, but you had to get there early or it was all picked over. It merits three stars, but no more! Devamı

My wife and I highly reccomend the Riverland Inn to anyone stopping in Kamloops whether for 1 night or more. The service is great, the room clean and comfortable and the contintental breakfast excellent. The Inn is very easy to get to and last but not least the cost of rooms is very reasonable. Staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Room was clean. Good and firm mattresses in a large room. Bathroom small but appreciate cleanliness and new bathtub/shower. Easy to find off highway. Would definately return.

We found this to be a hidden gem of a property offering many amenities. The breakfast is top notch and facilities were very clean and cozy.

It is always great to find a good independent. We really appreciated the hot breakfast - way better than the typical continental fare - and I was impressed that it was on real dishes - no plastic throwaway. The Riverland makes an extra effort, and we will be back!

We were not happy with the layout of the room, did not like the open/ vanity/ entrance, the rest of the room was fine the view must be pretty in the summer, would have been nice with a sundeck. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast could have been served until later than 9 for a weekend.

This hotel is obviously loved by its owners. They supply barbecue grills and picnic tables so people can enjoy the river front. We travel a lot and spend out time mostly in 4 and 5 star hotels. Last month we were in Rome at The Rome Cavalier Waldorf Astoria so our expectations in our hotels ruins very high. This hotel happens to be located in the best […] spot for us - the closest to our family in Kamloops. Had great nights sleep. Beautiful location next to river. Easy to find and easy access to and from mainroad. Maybe a bit far from shopping area to walk but its a very quiet town so wasnt really a problem to drive in. Restaurant next door had great food and reasonableas well.

Easy access from the highway & nice riverfront location. The outdoor areas could be noisy due to the freeway bridge nearby, but we didn't have noise problems inside the room.

very big rooms, comforable beds. Dark furniture, little light ans somewhat dismal. housekeeping sloppy - PJS left n the floor, two nights of pilloecaseless pillow -used towel, curtains wouldn't close. Sad breakfast in dining hall of youth camp.

Room and hotel were clean enough - it was a long drive so we were a bit grumpy - front desk person was very professional and helpful - fairly easy access to downtown and liquor store and gambling - basically right across the road from a real gem - the Secwepemc Museum and Heritage Park which were both unexpectedly extremely well done and interesting […] - if you want to learn a bit more about First Nation history and culture then do not miss this. Definitely do not be late for breakfast - if they say they stop at 9AM then you better be in the breakfast room at that time! Very nice patio overlooks the river and the mountains. Really a nice place to rest between Calgary and Vancouver - I heard that there is much, much more outdoor activity to do in Kamloops but we needed to be on our way. Devamı

Hotel is located on the river with a large grassy area with tables and chairs for guests to enjoy the venue. Each room has a balcony overlooking the river. Despite proximity to the highway, traffic noise from within the rooms was non-existant. Front desk staff were personable, friendly, courteous, and helpful. Felt very comfortable there. The room was […] more like a suite than a motel room, with an equipped kitchen and sitting area separate from the bedroom nook. It was far more than expected for a "double room". Gorgeous view from the room of Kamloops lake! Plus the continental breakfast wasn't just bagels and toast as it is lots of places. Hashbrowns, sausage, eggs, and of course bagels and toast. Saved us having to go buy a real breakfast. Plus we could eat it on the patio overlooking the lake...wonderful experience.

We got the executive suite in this fantastic hotel, over looking the river and just fantastic staff that could not do enough for you. Recommend this hotel to everyone. We were travelling throught to Vancouver, this is our 2nd time staying at the Riverland Inn once before in May. Both times we have found it perfect, clean rooms, friendly staff, a lovely little breakfast offered as well. My husband took advantage of the pool both times as well and has enjoyed that too. Great value for the price. We stayed there for a night and our kids loved the pool and the jacuzzi. They had a BBQ diner on the patio as the weather was nice. The place is 5 min drive to Tim Hortons/McDonals, etc. plus there is a formal diner restaurant just next door. We loved our room on ground level overlooking the river. It probably wouldn't have been quite as enjoyable on the street side.

Excellent hotel located on the river. Hotel provides a number of tables and chairs to use to sit by the river. 5 minute drive to town center, not much happening at the actual hotel location.

Great visit for only one night to this hotel. The room was perfectly clean, great service, nice to have a little pool for kids and fantastic location on the river. The only thing I would recommend they upgrade is room flooring to hardwood instead of carpet but it was a lovely stay in a lovely hotel. More than most hotels for breakfasts too,

We love the Riverland. It's a perfect little spot. Our only really teeny complaint is that the coffee maker hadn't been emptied and cleaned from the previous guests so I inadvertently spilled the coffee and had to use a white hand towel to clean up the mess. Otherwise, we would recommend and will return to the Riverland time and again!

Overall, we were disappointed with our stay here. Next time we would likely try to find a better place to stay.

Enjoyed the two nights we spent, one going and one coming home. We enjoyed the view of the river, however were given a room on the second night that had a staircase in front of it when we asked for a room with a view of the river. We would stay again the next time we go thru Kamploops.
