Ibis Bristol Temple Meads Quay - Bristol

The hotel was close to the train station, but there was nothing else within a 10-15 minute walk. One evening the restaurant was closed because they had no chef, which meant a walk in the rain and dark to get food- not good. On the other hand, the staff was friendly and helpful, and rooms were clean and comfortable.

stayed in several good hotels and my second time here. it really is just a five minute walk from platform to check-in desk. real easy to make the ten minute walk along the canal for the town and waterfront. great price for bristol and would have no problem staying here again. real nice staff.

The location is just 2 minutes walk from the train station. My room was clean and staff was very helpful.

Was in a great location, so I had to just pop off the train and was at the hotel front door in less than 5 minutes of walking. The staff were friendly and the rooms were nice and clean. However, when I tried to get to sleep I found the room to be to hot, and due to the proximity of the road, train station, and construction work that is currently ongoing […] it was to loud to have the window open. Good hotel at a reasonable price. Very convenient for the train station and a pleasant walk into the centre along the river bank. Not the best part of town, but balanced out by everything else

hotel is meant to be affordable.. and it was, but don't expect anything extra! If it's on a good deal.. go for it. note: if you buy internet it has to be used all at once, no signing in and out which was an inconvenient surprise. Only can be used in the lobby as well.

Staff on arrival very helpful re parking. We arrived early but this wasnt a problem as the room was ready. Room clean and tidy and impressed by the bathroom. All in all excellant value and standard for a weekend break. Nice walk into town alongby the river. Would stay again.

Lovely modern hotel within walking distance of city centre. Helpful staff. nice food in the restaurant.

very reasonnable price, hotel very closed to the station, people friendly (I did not try the breakfast, so no comment about it). If I have to go back to Bristol, I will keep this hotel in my mind

The Ibis Hotel is near the rail station, and convenient for buses or walking to the city centre. Comfortable and clean.

Great price hotel which is close to the train station, in business district so good walk to the center of town (15-20mins) but theyll order you a taxi no problems. Only complaint is the food, was here with a large group of about 15 and they took a long time with food and some of it was cold. Other than that would reccomend it, very well priced.

The hotel itself is nice, although the rooms are very basic and I wasn't very impressed with the bathroom which looks like a bit of an afterthought when building the room. Mine was very small, and felt like a portaloo in the room! Parking was a bit of a pain but once I found the car park, it was only a short walk to the hotel, although I was worried […] about getting a ticket at the pay & display car park. I probably wouldn't choose to stay in this hotel again, especially with the better quality Holiday Inn Express or Premier Inn nearby. Devamı

Hotel was OK but not a nice area especially late at night. Very dissappointed to find that Restaurant was closed due to chef being off. Not much in immediate vacinity so had to go quite some way to find a meal.

Very convenient for station, we arrived late in the evening (had a flight the next day) but were able to get some very nice food - a delicious Thai curry - from the bar. Room service was also available. This hotel is new I believe so it is very nicely presented. Personnel was dull to attend our question. Even in the check in lady at the front desk seemed to be in a hurry though there was nobody else waiting. We asked for restaurants and they only gave us a map with brief explanations. We asked about parking and they sent us to a payment without telling us that just behind the corner there was free space to […] park. No breakfast included and not very big room. The Ibis is great location for the Temple Mead train station. The reception is very modern and welcoming, as are the rooms. Our double room was a good size and extremely clean. I would definitly recommend this hotel. It is a 5min ride from city centre.

The receptionist were very helpful and efficient. The room including the bathroom was immaculately clean. Great nights sleep, excellent bed, controllable temperature and quiet. The shower exceeded all expectations and wouldn't have been out of place in a hydrotherapy spa.

We enjoyed 2 nights over new year 2012 at Ibis Hotel in Bristol, which is only 3 years old and is 5 minutes walk from Temple Meads station (the main rail station in Bristol). This is an area of regeneration near the inland harbour and you can take a harbour ferry into the city centre or a 15 minute walk. There are new office and flats nearby and some […] cleared sites. The hotel is clean and modern, with breakfast extra, or try Weatherspoon nearby for better value breakfast. Good value in a major UK city. Devamı

Hotel was very clean and tidy. The room was excellent with good security. Didn't try the bar or the food but the bar look a nice place. Very convient to Bristol Temple Meads Station but not obvious how to find the hotel. If in doubt ask at the Wetherspoons pub and they will point the way as they do this all the time.

There was no safe in the room-witch was one of reasons why I chose this hotel. The food in the hotels restaurant was of a mediocre quality,and was overcooked. On booking I was informed the breafast cost £5.50 when in fact is was charged at £7.50!, and it was only worth a couple of quid.

great for pedestrian access to and from station, but a long way by taxi, due to one-way system. Very clean and modern - great little bathroom! Will stay again.

Quality of hotel food could have been better.

Main shortcoming was noisiness, not the double glazing which was excellent seeing the closeness to the railway, but other guests in the corridors in the early hours of the morning Apart from that, hotel was good value for the price and staff were very helpful.

Great location, 10 minute walk to Cabot Circus shops, across the road from Temple Meads Station so easy to catch a train to Bath. Only issue was that the bed was quite hard. Clean room and quite spacious, we were in a standard double.

Perfect for train station access and only 10 mins from Cabot Circus and 20 mins from the waterside. Would stay here again, the room was very spacious and very clean. There is a Tesco Express within 10 mins walk and a Wetherspoons next to the Starbucks just 5 mins from hotel.

Clean hotel with pleasant, informed staff. My only gripe is that this hotel needs to cater better for its business customers, the only wifi is downstairs, only ethernet connection is available in the bedrooms yet the cable is too short to be of any use for any sustained stint of working and this amenity is also quite pricey.

Stayed one night. Had problems finding the car park but otherwise everything was nice. Can't see anything wrong with the hotel. Good location, friendly service, comfy bed. Definitely worth recommending.

I go to this hotel for the following: a clean, comfortable room with facilities at a reasonable price. I like the clean, simple design - in particular the inset bathroom with huge shower. The breakfast is extra but is plentiful and nicely cooked, and regularly replenished so you still get a croissant if you are late! The staff are friendly and helpful. […] The food in the restaurant is tasty, and again reasonably priced. The room offers tea/coffee/milk and there is soap and shampoo in the bathroom. Finally, and this is the clincher for me, both check-in and check-out are 12 noon, so you can maximise your stay. Devamı

Very clean, comfortable and good location for City. Basic needs catered for very well and will stay again. Good value for money. A minor service complaint is that the very busy telephone on reception ought to be answered after those who are waiting to check in. Unfortunately a regular habit of receptionists... Beware - the pay and display across the […] river has an overnight ticket for £2. It finishes at 5AM! Not the Hotels fault, but another irritating factor. This hotel is very nice, clean and modern and very conveniently located to local train stations and close to the city centre. The only fault would be that the reception staff could do with some customer service training as they were not at all friendly or welcoming, bordering on a bit rude. This is such a shame as the stay was perfect otherwise.

Was in town for the heineken cup final (in Cardiff)Enjoyed the two day stay in this hotel. First time in Ibis hotels, was glad to get accom close to the rail station. The hotel was modern, clean as was the rooms. Next to a busy train station. Staff were most unhelpfull. Lifts stopped on every time used. Taxi needed to town centre.

Good location,near station. Clean reasonably priced overnight accommodation.

The room was small, basic and felt unworrthy of the high price I had to pay. The air-con didn't work, the view was a demolision site and after waiting 15mins for the staff to answer my call to reception as the blind in my room didnt work and wouldn't close, I was forced to go down to reception and wait another 10minutes for someone to help me - ending […] up with the front door security man wrestling with my window! I had stayed at The Mint Hotel the previous week and found that to be a far superior stay. I won't be going back to The Ibis. Devamı

Ibis hotel at Bristol Temple Quays Very convenient for rail links but downside was the freight trains that moved through out the night could be heard even with windows closed.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was perfect as we needed to get to the train station for 6.30am to catch a bus transfer to the airport, and it only took about 3 minutes to get there. Great.

Very pleasant, good value for money, though not for those seeking aesthetically pleasing surroundings. Prior to booking, called hotel to check distance from the O2 Academy as purpose of visit was to attend a gig there. Was told that it woul ge only a short walk, this however turned out not to be the case for two "tourists" and we were very easily  […] lost!! Devamı
