5th time we have stayed at this hotel. Always great, but this time the room was not serviced on a Sunday. By the time we got back it was to late to have it done. Staff Apologized

I thought that the room was fantastic as was the ever helpful and patient staff. LOCATION: It feels like you are in an office park. It is safe and well-lit but not walkable to any amenities. There is lots of parking and I felt fine there. It is about 5 minutes or so to great restaurants. I know they have a shuttle but I did not use it. I couldn't find […] restaurants who would deliver to the hotel. I wish that they had had a contract with outside providers to connect guests to more delivery options. I am so glad that I got a king suite. There was a mini fridge and a great microwave. The bed was comfortable and I had a sofa. While I kept sliding off of the sofa, it was still a great place to study in/on. I loved the way thtat the big TV turned either towards the bed or the couch area. I did find the TV guide annoying. It wouldn't show what was on each channel, just that the channels existed. Besides that, the picture was clear. CLEANLINESS I found the hotel and the room to be clean. As a person with a lot of allergies, I was grateful to be in a non-smoking space. There was no dust. The room almost sparkled! I would stay there again in a second. PRICE I got a better deal though the hotel than at hotels dot com. What a bummer. That said, I am now two nights closer to a free stay! Yay! NOISE LEVEL I was on the ground level and could hear people walking throughout the halls on Friday and Saturday nights. I could barely hear the planes though and I have a history of panicking when I hear the noise of the engines of a plane. Instead, I was not bothered one bit by the noise. FITNESS AMENITIES I forgot to bring my sneakers or my bathing suit and although, my lovely partner brought them with her when she came the night after I arrived, it felt too chilly to swim for me. I wish that the pool were bigger and that there was information as to whether or not it were heated. Please build an indoor pool with big windows to see outside or one with a retractable roof. This hotel was great except we were in the area for a sporting event along with half the hotel and were told we could ride the shuttle for free to the arena instead of paying the 35.00 parking fee. We waited over and hour and a half in the lobby with other people and were told repeatedly the shuttle was on its way. we all had to take our vehicles after […] all due to the fact the gates closed and people wouldnt be allowed in after 6. When we got back to the hotel hours latter the shuttle was still MIA. I dont think there ever was a shuttle. but the Hotel was nice and if you dont need a ride i would stay!!!! Devamı

Our hotel room had no heat. At 3:00 a.m. we had to change rooms, because it was freezing. The girl at the front desk, the next morning was very understanding. But, a woman we believed to be the manager would not speak to us , and turned and walked away. They said they would give us some credit(not full) on my credit card. But, I haven't seen it yet […] . Loved this hotel... Very nice and clean and up to date

The hotel was very clean and the employees were all friendly. They also offer a free breakfast in the morning.. not 5 star cuisine but it has cereals and juices and eggs and waffles... For free its awesome. We stayed there to go to a raiders game the next day and they offer a shuttle to the o.co stadium and you don't have to pay the 35.00 for parking. […] It was close to the stadium and airport and not to long of a drive to San Francisco too. Overall we were really pleased with our stay there and will reccomend it to anyone we know that plans on staying in that area. Devamı

I would have given this hotel five stars except that they do not recycle. PLEASE Hampton Suites do your part and recycle glass, aluminum and paper. The front desk attendant was FABULOUS! She was kind, knowledgeable and got us a great taxi service for our ride to our friends' house. A great, affordable place to stay.

We loved this hotel and were very surprised by the friendly staff, 24 hour coffee in the lobby, delicious breakfast and best of all, the cleanliness of the rooms! We didn't get to check out the pool or hot tub, fitness rooms, etc but it was nice to have them there. And this hotel was minutes from the Oakland Airport but in a quiet safe business park […] neighborhood along the water. Devamı

Easy access to and from the airport, a bay-view room, and free breakfast, too! We were able to enjoy a pleasant walk along the marsh and bay, return to the hotel for breakfast, then begin our day. This is a great jumping off point for exploring the East Bay.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The breakfast was much better than average, the hotel was clean, and the personnel was friendly. The pillows could be a little bit softer.

We stayed here as a family of 5. The location was next to the airport but I totally forgot we were next to the airport and so it must be nicely sound proofed. The location does not have any close resturants nearby and it is located in a remote location. The room was nice but the breakfast in the morning was not very well organized. The food kept running […] out and the waffles would tear on the waffle makers. There was only one lady to keep the food supplied and maintain everthing and she just needed more help. The food was good but the layout and service at breakfast was poor. Overall it is a nice Hoel , however it may not be my first choice int the future. Devamı

This hotel is located minutes from the airport, newer building with triple pane windows, no flight noise. Very clean, contenental breakfast above and beyond the norm. Staff was great. I would stay here again.

Wow...if you think this hotel is convenient to anything BUT the Oakland Airport, think again! Very far away from everything else, with limited restaurants. Besides that, was a fair Hampton Inn. Staff not very knowledgeable about BART stations, parking, especially for us non-seasoned San Francisco visitors. They tried, but it really wasn't their fault. […] We should have never stayed this far out of the area. If you plan on taking BART over to the city, this is NOT the place to stay. The stations and parking are a little on the sketchy side. Breakfast and employees were very nice. Clean hotel, no roll-away. For a family of 5, room too small. Airport noise not a problem. Devamı

Our room was very comfortable and clean, and I was impressed with the size of the bathroom & shower. It was very affordable and close to Oakland & Alameda, and we'd definitely stay at this chain again! Breakfast was much more than 'continental' (including waffles), and it was right on the bay too.

Despite its convenient, yet close proximity to Oakland Airport, we were never once disturbed by airport noise. Also, this location is great for travelling to Alameda without the challenge of freeway traffic. The staff is extremely gracious and anxious to please - the front desk clerk not only gave us great recommendations for a lunch restaurant, but […] she also drew directions on a map and offered to call and make reservations! Rooms are clean and spacious, beautifully equipped, and I would stay here anytime I am travelling in the Oakland area. Devamı

Upon driving up my first concern was the airport that sent passenger plains directly over the Hotel. Not a problem, this Hotel has not double but Triple pane windows, unless you're worried about a pin drop waking you up you won't hear the planes. Second, the room was very spacious and comfortable, had hot water every time I got in the shower and even […] though the pool is outside it was very nice to take a dip on a hot summer day. Not to mention the hot tub and weight room that are available. Last but not least was the breakfast, good quality (not Denny's) and always replenished quickly. If you're looking for somewhere comfortable to stay, away from the main city and don't mind an outside pool this is a great stay. Thanks Hampton Inn Devamı

Nice staff & Great breakfast!

I read the previous reviews and selected this hotel since I was attending a function in Alameda. It is really close to the Oakland airport but you can't hear the air traffic inside. There is a full breakfast, outdoor pool, comfortable beds with soft sheets and soft towels in the bathroom. A great value for this area and not too far of a drive from the […] main part of Alameda or downtown Oakland. Hotel is in an office park area so there is nothing to walk to (shops, restaurants, etc.). Neighborhood is really safe. A great place to stay if you are traveling for business or visiting folks who live near by. Devamı

We stayed here one night, as we were seeing U2 in concert at the Coliseum, but didn't want to stay in a seedy neighborhood. The hotel is situated in a professional business park, and felt relatively safe. The staff was very nice; however, unwilling to take us to the coliseum as it was beyond their 3 mile radius of shuttle trips. So we took a cab. After […] the concert there were no taxis, the Bart stopped running and we were really concerned. Another hotel guest had apparently begged the hotel to come, so after about an hour, we had a surprise ride from the hotel - thank heavens! And thank Hampton Inn! The hotel was clean and updated. The continental breakfast was great. Staff was nice. my room was noisy because it shared a wall with the gym. Other than that I had a fantastic stay. Clean comfy modern

I loved my room with a view of the water. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. I was thrilled that the window opened, until I saw that it only opened about 3 inches. Then a jet flew right overhead from neighboring Oakland Airport. It was LOUD! Now I knew why there were 3 sets of windows which did a great job of insulating against the […] jet noise. I just wish they would let the guest have the option to open the window wide if they so choose. Only downside noted was remote location.

Front desk gave a genuinely warm welcome. The room was clean and comfortable. It had everything I needed: internet connection, free parking, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron. The business center had exactly what I needed: internet, MS Office applications, printer, stapler and paperclips (though Post-It notes would have been nice). The location in a business […] park was quiet and secure (although the drawback was being far from restaurants and shops, so you're out of luck if you're without a car). This is a hidden gem of a hotel with professional staff, great location, very reasonable rates, is very new adn well maintained. I am a very frequent traveler for work adn vbacation and when my biggest issue at this hotel is it takes a few seconds for the television channels to change rather than instantly you have to wonder. The staff is very willing to assist and were friendly, patient, and kind. The beds were comfy. The rooms very clean and nice! The location is fabulous for peace and quiet. Great running path along the water with parks. LOVED IT!

This is a terrific place to stay in the Bay Area. I grew up here and just did not want to deal with the culture on Hegenberger or downtown. This place is close to eveything but feels like it's out in the country; the view out the back had no nearby structures--only the bay and marshland with egrets, ducks, and other coastal birds. It's a great place […] to run and there is a ferry to San Francisco quite close by. The room itself was also very nice, with internet connection and a bed as comfortable as mine at home. Very good. Quiet (important near airport) and very clean. Breakfast great. Only thing that I think can be improved is TV system/channels compared to say my DirecTV sucked. Comfortable bed and great pillows. free wifi great although I didnt use it.

We loved our stay at the Hampton Suites. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and well kept. The breakfast was great (though the egs did go very fast)! The hotel is next to the bay and is next to a beautiful bayside park. The setting is very restful and there are lots of wild birds to watch. There are planes flying overhead […] but somehow it did not bother us at all. We plan on making the Hampton Suites our place to stay when we visit our family in Alameda. We stayed at this hotel because we drove up from Los Angeles and wanted to spend the night outside of San Francisco so we could go there fresh the next morning. This hotel was near the Oakland airport, and on the water. The views were very nice and you can go walking along the bay - it's beautiful. Planes do go overhead, but there are three plates […] of glass in the window so you don't hear them, and they don't fly very late anyway. The room was very comfortable, as are all Hampton Inn rooms. It was very clean, and a great place to stay after a long drive. Restaurants were close by, about 1 or 2 miles in a nice shopping center - very rustic. We had some great pizza there! There are also grocery and drug stores in the same shopping center as well as gasoline at a reasonable price. Breakfast was great as ususal and came free along with the parking. Driving to San Francisco the next morning at 10 am included some traffic at the Bay Bridge, but other than that, it was a good drive there. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Devamı

This hotel was new and had very comfortable beds and nice bedding. The flat screen TV was good. The bathroom was roomy and had a big shower stall, that I much prefer to a tub shower combo. The breakfast was very good with a couple of omelet choices as well as the usual cereal, yogurt, and bagels.
