Holiday Inn Express & Suites Toronto Markham - Richmond Hill

The hotel was in a great location next to restaurants and highways. The street construction is normal for the time of year so not a problem. The breakfast options were excellent and the all day tea and coffee was a nice addition after a long day of work. I will definitely stay again in the future when in town on business.

My family and I enjoyed the 4 nights we stayed here, the room is clean, and the staff are very friendly and prompt when you need help with something. Surrounding restaurants are also good, just walking distance! We'll definitely be staying here whenever we come here to Canada. Good price, too!

I really enjoyed my stay at Holiday Inn. Staff were quite nice and friendly. The location was perfect for the purpose of my trips. There are a lot of nice restaurants around and the shopping mall is only 10 minutes away. Overall I am very happy with this hotel and would recommend it to anyone who would like to visit York area of Toronto.

Internet service was down for the entire morning of 2/5, the hotel should have back up plans such as alternate or limited internet service for us international business guests. I didn't appreciate the attitude the front desk sort of only apologize for the "happening" and wanted us to just "swallow" it. The stay was very good except for the fact that we were charged for snacks we did not eat in our room. There was 2 forms on the desk from previous dates that had been filled out and not one for the date that we stayed. Upon receiving our visa bill we saw we were charged for snacks we did not consume. We stayed 1 night in a double queen suite room on the top floor of the hotel. While the room was clean, staff were nice, and the decor looks very new, the room furnishings and design was unlike any hotels I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in many over the years. The way this room was designed, it almost felt like an after thought or as if they were […] squeezing in this useless space for a room and charging people more for it. The oddness: 1. There is no work table in this room. The only place you'd be able to work with a notebook computer not on your lap is probably the 2 bar stool chairs. 2. The ethernet jacks, power console, hdmi connections and so on, are placed directly below the TV where there is no table or near anything to place the things that you'd used the jacks with. 3. The TV (only 1x 37" unit) is placed on the wall perpendicular to both the couch and the beds, where it is not straight on with either of the beds or the sofa. In fact, you'd have to tilt the TV 30 degrees out to watch it from the sofa one way, or 30 degree out the other way to watch it from the beds, but not viewable from both the beds and sofa at the same time. 4. Closet is tiny. Fits perhaps 4 coats and nothing else. 5. While you can tell it's a nice mattress, the softness of it makes it no better than the pull out sofa beds of most hotels. (I weigh 200 lbs) 6. Both the "soft" and "firm" pillows are exactly the same firmness. 7. The thermostat is way off. We had to turn it down to 66F to be comfortable, otherwise it blows hot air all the time. 68F feels like 75F for some odd reason. 8. The shower water strength feels like it needs a water pump somewhere on this floor. Unacceptably weak. I know this sounds like nitpicking and we honestly want to like this room, because the decor's so new and modern, however, with all the oddness, I feel ripped off, and simply cannot recommend this place. Great hotel for families! Just loved our 3 nights stay. Close to hwys 401 & 404.

A very clean and comfortable stay. Complimentary breakfast was great specially the omellete and cheese. Overall a nice stay !

I'm impressed by the cleaniness. the suite I stayed in was spacious. Breakfast is better than expected. Highly recommended for the value and quality.

Stayed here for a night, very close to restaurants and entertainment and just right off the hwy. Very clean and newly renovated hotels, great service. Only thing i would complain about is that there is no restaurant in the hotel, but did enjoy complementary breakfast.

Very clean, comfortable hotel, from lobby to room. The mini-fridge in the room was much appreciated. Continental breakfast was excellent. A bit difficult to find if not coming from the airport. Very few restaurants at walking distance.

Those staffs at reception very friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Zhang, very nice person!!! The hotel is very comfortable, room was very clean, location is great, price is very good too :)

Hotel and rooms were great. Service was great. Not the best location, in some what china town and almost no stores/restaurants walking distance. I decided on this location because it was half way between the zoo and wonderland which worked out great.

Everything about this hotel appeared new and clean. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was decorated with modern, clean furniture. Breakfast was included which offered a wide variety of food as opposed to just a muffin and coffee. The hotel is on the outskirts of toronoto so if you are looking for something close to downtown, this isn't […] it. Although the subway isn't too far away and you can train in for the day. Devamı

The hotel was very nice and clean, however, we had problems with their shuttle service that they advertised. One clerk said they would only take business patrons on it, it only ran from 8:30 to 5:30 Monday through Friday, but they wouldn't pick us up and it was a Friday, close to the 5:30. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! Clean, beautiful rooms, polite staff and good breakfast in the morning!! An excellent experience. Best hotel in Richmond Hill!

Very clean hotel, pool isn't very big, no hot tub, parking is sufficient. View from room was just overlooking shopping nothing special, but rooms were very well maintained and customer service was really good.

Nice hotel in the middle of our Markham audit clients. Walking distance to several great restaurants. Very clean with great staff. I never write reviews though I travel a lot for business. For breakfast every day (a good one too) they use real plates, real dishes, and real silverware. I had no idea how calloused I had become to having to use plastic […] utensils and styrofoam plates for breakfast. I hope all the properties get this message. Highly recommend and will stay there again. And it's less expensive than it's neighbors in the area. Devamı

Staff very friendly. It was easy to find and minutes from Hwy 7. I liked the 'marketplace' to pick up snacks, very reasonably priced. Room was large, clean and comfortable. My only negative comment was the area that served the complimentary breakfast was too small so get there very early. I would stay here again.

The hotel was new & very well maintained. The staff was very gracious & helpful. It was located a little further off the 401 than we would have liked, but otherwise an excellent place to stay.
