We got there early (11:30 am) because we needed to be at a graduation at 1:00 pm. The parking lot was deserted but there was no way we could check into a room. It seemed that there must have been a room available but the lady at the front desk wouldn't waive the check in time. The elevator makes a scary noise for what seems a newer hotel. We were afraid […] we were going to get stuck in it. You can only enter the hotel going south on Route 1 and that is inconvenient. The hotel is a basic room, relatively clean and a decent continental breakfast. Average place for the price. Devamı

I was impressed with how friendly + helpful the staff was and how clean our room was. The beds/pillows were very comfortable +we had plenty of towels. There was a nice pool, exercise room and guest laundry. We stayed 2 nights.

Thought this comfort Inn in Scarborough, ME was very nice. The location for us was perfect and it was a pleasant comfortable stay. Staying in this new 'comfort inn' made all the difference. Looking forward to staying there again in the future. Did not eat the complimentary breakfast. The room was clean and the desk staff was pleasant.

Hotel was clean and roomy. Breakfast included was a bonus travelling with 4 people. It was very quiet. We were only there for an overnight before travelling early in the morning.

Nice hotel. Great to have the pool available for the kids. It would have been nice to have a hot tub. The only things that we were missing in our room was a mini fridge and a microwave (didn't even see one in the eating area).

Room was fine. Pool was cloudy. Exercise room had no AC or water. Ice and vending machines were broken. Hallways had no heat. Only one trash can in room. Breakfast was OK.

Overall a good stay. The hotel was hard to find as the outside lights were not on and it was very dark...maybe they should be on an automatic time or a light sensor. The Person at the front desk was new, no one else around and he did not know how to find information and items requested. However he was very nice and he tried.

The room was perfectly fine and clean and the desk clerk very friendly, but didn't tell us that the breakfast that was included, was only from 6-9 am, so we missed that. There were also no signs in the lobby that indicated the breakfast hours, which was kind of strange. The indoor pool looked very cloudy, so we skipped that. Disappointing.

My three kids and I stayed there because of a snowstorm. Since we live 140 miles from Portland area and my kids had an appointment the next morn; I decided to go stay the night before. So a necessity turned out to be a 1 night mini vacation. Kids thought swimming in the indoor pool with a storm outside was way cool and so did mom! and a great price […] too! Devamı

The hotel clerk indicated that the hotel manager does not turn the heaters for the hallways despite the outside temperature below 30 F. I will never stay at this Comfort Inn again. This is ridiculous!

The people at the desk were very friendly, especially the young girl who was just starting there. We asked her for a late checkout and she gladly gave it to us!! No matter how many times my Granddaughters asked for pool towels, they were always there willing to help out. The beds were comfortable and the room clean. Wish they had wi-fi in the rooms […] . Had a plumbing problem in my apartment, and had to go to this hotel on very short notice. The young man at the front desk was super helpful in finding a place to deliver dinner. Room was clean and comfortable, although heater was a bit noisy. Overall, a nice stay!

The hotel is situated on Route 1 in Scarborough. As you can only enter the hotel parking lot from the southbound lane, entering and exiting the hotel can take a little bit of maneuvering depending on your travels. The hotel is basic, clean and quiet. Rooms are spacious and offer a reasonable selection of cable TV channels.

We knew it wouldn't be overly convenient from downtown Portland where we were visiting relatives so that wasn't a big issue, however, the staff wasn't overly friendly and the lady at the desk in the early morning barely said hello. There was no staff present at night at the desk as we came and went which was weird. The room didn't look well vacuumed […] and the bed skirt was really wrinkled so we were hoping the bed sheets were clean! They were thankfully. Nice property. Only two inconveniences were the hot water pipes which didn't have enough pressure so they knocked and the small size of the breakfast area which didn't appear to be scaled properly (or layed out well) for a full occupancy. Room was clean and service was friendly. Finally, access to and from the property is limited to the southbound side […] so if you wish to enter from the north or turn north out of the property, you have some uturns in your future. Devamı

We were very surprised that our experience wasn't better, given the favorable reviews. The entire hotel looked like it had not been vacuumed in weeks, including the elevator, halls and guest rooms. Our bathroom was disgusting. The toilet had hairs all over and in it. If the weekend was not so busy in Portland we would have left and stayed elsewhere […] but there were no rooms anywhere. Staffing seems to be a problem. When I went to the front desk for towels there was someone in line already waiting. The front desk person was on the phone and continued to talk with someone about the laundry that hadn't been done and other issues for over 15". She never acknowledged us until she was done with her conversation. She was very pleasant however when she got off the phone. In the morning when we left the housekeeper was in the hall with her cleaning cart, BARE FOOT! To the hotel's defense the morning front desk person was very accommodating and had great customer service skills and thanked us for our feedback. Devamı

My husband and I spent a long weekend here, while my brother in law stayed at a "resort" on Old Orchard Beach. In comparison, the Comfort Inn was newer, well maintained, and very clean. They have a nice Continental Breakfast in the mornings, free parking, and adequate pool facilities. The property is not right on Old Orchard Beach, but close enough. […] If you don't mind being a ten minute drive from the real beachy part of town, this hotel is perfect. Devamı

Check in was quick and friendly. Room was surprisingly spacious and well appointed. Hotel is close to Scarborough Marsh and Pine Point but also close to major shopping sites and supermarkets. Several nearby restaurants. Comfortable bed although the pillow arrangement needs review.

We went to Portland for a doctors appointment which this hotel was conveniently located near - however there was dried blood on the wall in the bathroom, dust and dirt in the corners which was missed when room was cleaned and the beds were not comfortable to us. But to top it all off to our surprise when we returned to the hotel at 11:00 from our doctors […] appointment we were locked our of the room as 11:00 was check out time. I have never had that that experience before. However I will say that the free breakfast was excellent. Devamı

Was disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. The room was in desperate need of a good vacuuming and cobwebbing. Also, all the staff smoked directly outside the main entrance. This meant you had to walk through a cloud of smoke every time you entered the hotel.

I was very upset with my stay at Comfort Inn and Suites because I had requested a refrigerator in my room when I booked it through the hotels.com website, however when I got there and checked in, there was no refrigerator so I went to the front desk to straighten it out, I was told that there were no rooms available that had refrigerators and after […] about 20-30 minutes I was moved into a room that had a refrigerator. This should not have happened because the ad for the hotel said that all standard rooms had refrigerators and if that is not the case then it shouldn't be listed on the website. Devamı
