My biggest problem is the hotel does not have proper signage so it was difficult to find. The room was nice and clean. Staff were friendly. The hotel is located close to the metro.

My stay overall was quite satisfactory. I stayed for a week at this hotel. This hotel feels rather a serviced apartment (not a hotel). This is the feeling you get in the lobby area. I have been staying this hotel almost every trip to Shanghai. I like the location. However, the service was somewhat deteriorating and the amenities are somewhat old. However, I might come back later again for the location.

I have been staying this hotel almost every time I come to Shanghai. It is still comfortable. The location is great. However, the maintenance and quality of service is deteriorating. The facilities are getting old and the room cleanliness is also worse than before. Overall, it is still nice to stay here.

Friendly staff and nice clean room with all amenities. Little out of the way from main tourist spots but still near enough. Good location if you want to get a real feel for Shanghai and its people. Definitely would stay here again.

This is a very convenient central location in Shanghai, within one block of the subway and with good restaurants and coffee shops in the neighborhood. There is also a shopping mall within one block.' Firstly , This hotel does NOT have a swimming pool or gym as advertised. My wife and I stayed here for 13 nights and were very disappointed on all aspects which was nothing like the advertised hotel. The room was dirty , we had a toilet blockage on the first day which took 12 hours to repair and the standard of cleaning was basic to useless despite […] complaining. Views from the hotel were of other buildings in close proximity so if you want a view of shanghai --- it isnt here !! This Raymont is on the north side of a large apartment complex from another Raymont on the south side. I have stayed at both. This one is in better shape than the other. Close to shopping areas and bus/subway. It's serviced apartment style lodging. Some of the rooms are located in next building so it can be slightly inconvenient. Clean room, the suite I booked is spacious with kitchenette. Overall good place to stay if it is close to where you want to be.

The hotel staff was cordial and most knew English. The bed was very comfortable which you don't always get in Asia. The water for the shower/bath never got warm enough...luke warm was about it.

Overall, it was very good. Our one complaint is that we booked a room with a double bed, while our friends booked a room with two single beds, and both rooms were the same price. However, our room was much smaller, and considering that we paid the same price, we expected the rooms to be of a similar size.

The hotel is somewhat well located close to the Subway. I asked for a non-smoking room and got a smoking one, it was clean and it did not smell but after 2 days, I could smell the smoke from other rooms. It is a bit run down. Would never stay there again never been so upset with my choice of stay, service was terrible didn't help me at all, there was no gym or pool in the hotel it was a 5min walk, breakfast was very ordinary, and the room was not clean there was damage throughout the room and hair all over the bathroom floor. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to any!

I was not able to control my A/C from my room, I was on the 33rd floor of this hotel. It was so hot in the room, I called front desk 4 times before someone was finally sent to my room. I was thinking maybe the A/C was broken, but the man came in and checked and said everything was okay. I asked why is it so hot, he put me on the phone with someone who […] spoke english and I was told it is controlled by the hotel. And If I want it any cooler to open my window. We stayed 8 days there and enjoyed our stay. The front desk is always busy but they are nice and polite. The rooms are small but in good condition. The only issue is that central air sometimes were too strong. We had to open our windows at night.

We have to change to different room of the same grade after the first day of our stay. We felt that the bed sheets had not been changed when we moved in. The shower head was leaking and the carpet was old. After our complain, we were changed to a much better room which we were happy and stayed for the remaining 3 days.

Hotel change its room rates easily, at the same day asking the same room rate, different courter person gives different prices.When you booking is one price, then after two days stay,if you want to stay two more days the price will be doubled.

Exterior and lobby are what you would expect for the price you pay - i.e. standard, nothing too glamorous. Rooms are very very nice for the price. We stayed in a double deluxe, clean, new, rather spacious. For the price we pay, very good value for money. Definitely recommend it. 5 minutes to the metro station, very convenient.

Very good price for my 7 night stay, comfortable smallish room with fantastic views. Breakfast extra and uninspiring. Staff very helpful and most spoke english well. Hotel well positioned about 10 minutes across busy road to nearest metro station and 2 km to Peoples Park and the Bund. French Concession eating and shopping 15min walk to the north.
