Deluxe Inn - South San Francisco

This was the only hotel room available near the SFO airport because of some convention happening in the area. Stayed there because United and their horrible flight delays made me miss my flight out of sfo and they would not provide a hotel voucher because the hotels they contract with were all booked. Much like United airlines and it's horrendous way […] they treat their customers, I will never fly with united unless it is my last resort, I would not recommend anyone this hotel. Though they say it has been renovated, i would hate to see what it looked like before. The lines are threadbare and they also kept the plastic that the mattress was wrapped in which made a horrible noise each time you moved. the furniture looked like it came from the 70's or 80's, no closet doors, the bathroom is a tiny poor ly ventilated room with meldewy curtains. Mold in shower, blood stains on sheets

It took three tries to get a room that was ready, and had refrigerator that worked. This is an old 1950's off road motel, Driving by I think they have charm. The rooms have been cosmetically cleaned up. But I have not stayed at an old school motel for a number of years so I guess I expect more. This was not a quiet place to stay. The second room had […] carpeting that was long past it's wear date with a square cut out, and non-working refrigerator. My final choice was nice until I saw all the mold in the shower and on the curtain. No bathroom supplies either. I had to ask for toilet paper and then got just one roll. The best think, and it was great, about this motel is the bus stops in the front and it is in walking distance of Kaiser hospital. Devamı

the room has a funny smell.

I booked the room because I needed a place that would allow me to check in early in the morning. The booking agent contacted the hotel who agreed to allow early check in for a small additional fee. Sweet! No problem! I arrived at the "hotel" and sauntered up to the 7-11 style bulletproof window to check in. The man behind the window had a meltdown. […] He went off about the fact that it was 8:00am and that they had no rooms ready and that I had to come back later. I stood there blinking for about ten seconds. Then grabbed my phone to call hotels.com to cancel. Suddenly, the story changed. Belligerent Clerk: Wait, no, we *do* have a room for you! Exhausted me: ... Belligerent Clerk: You know it will cost extra, right? Exhausted me: Yeah. I slid the cash under the glass. There was no way that I was giving these folks my credit card. He didn't bother with a receipt. I grabbed the key and marched off to room 115. The door swung open and I almost cried. I don't cry over stupid stuff like hotel rooms but this place almost got me there. First, it stunk. It was a pungent blend of smoke, funk, mildew, and age. I took a deep breath and stepped in anyway. There were cobwebs in every corner and dirt all over the carpet. I was exhausted (as I have mentioned) and decided to just suck it up and go to sleep. I dropped my bag and pulled back the covers. Black hair was all over everything. I am a blonde. No way was that my hair. There were black marks all over the sheets. I put the comforter back on the bed and went to the bathroom. The door frame was rotting. Literally, it was rotted through at floor level. There was mold and mildew all over the shower and shower curtain. The towels provided were thin and ragged. I figured that I would watch TV, hop onto the free wifi, and book a different room. Despite all my efforts, I could not get the TV to turn on. It sat there, mocking me, refusing to turn on. If you have an early flight out and you need to stay close to the airport. this is the place. It was quiet and affordable.
