The people were awesome, staff was absolutely exceptional. It was kind of a bare bones motel and an older one but kept up fairly well and great accomodations if you are just planning to sleep there anyway.

It's an inexpensive motel that is dated and has little amenities, but it is exactly what you want from a modest priced motel. The people were friendly and the place was clean and hospitable. They have a nice pool that was great when we got off the bike in 95 degree weather. We will stay again some time I'm sure.

When we drove in I was a bit worried about the construction. But this old jem is just being re-polished. Rooms are clean, quiet and perfect for a night after the Gorge on the way home to Seattle. No frills here, but the people could not be nicer. Outdoor pool for the hot desert sun is a must! Free coffee in the lobby, and that's about it.......feels good to stay here and avoid the chains that hug the interstate. Stay here if you want to walk to downtown ellensburg, the campus, and if you want good info from the staff on what's around to see […] .......... Devamı

I felt like I was a seasonal worker on a very tight budget. This Motel was staffed by tired looking and un enthusiastic staff, save for one maid who was helpful. Plain, tired is the motel too. After another amazing performance by Dirk, Lerxt and Pratt, the Thunderbird Hotel in Ellensburg was just the ticket for 2 weary travelers from the Seattle area. Pulled in at around midnight and was out light a light in 10 minutes; nice and quiet; slept like a baby. This hotel is exactly what you would expect for this price point in this area. We were going to a concert in the Gorge and just needed a place to crash. We checked in before going to the concert so we wouldn't have any issues coming back late. Got back at midnight and checked out at 8am. The Thunderbird Motel was exactly what I was looking for in a motel room. It was clean, quiet and we felt safe staying there. This is a no frills motel but it had a bed with CLEAN sheets and a CLEAN bathroom and that's what we wanted. The location is great and within walking distance of Central U. The price can't be beat. If you can sleep through anything this is not a bad place. The doors don't fit the frame so there is a lot of noise that comes into the room and the walls are paper thin. The room was clean.

We had a great time! Tony was fantastic at the front desk, he had lots of local information on nightlife and the best places to eat. We will definitely be back this summer to take advantage of the pool!

Hotel was clean and a great value. It's located right near the bars and the university.

Because of the previous reviews, I was expecting a very filthy room and an unpleasant stay. However, I was quite pleasantly surprised. My room was very clean and sanitary when I checked in, and the staff was very helpful and considerate. They even remembered my name when I came back to ask for directions to a nearby store! The housecleaners were very […] efficient and quick, and did a great job as well. The motel definitely is a bit older, so little things such as scuff marks on the counters/bath tub and paint chips were evident, but the room still looked well taken care of, and I felt comfortable. All of the lights and outlets worked, the TV reception was fine, the bed was pretty comfy, and they had plenty of hot water in the morning. I didn't stay for the continental breakfast, so I can't comment regarding that. The one thing I didn't like, however, was that the walls are pretty thin, so noise can easily be heard outside. However, it's not too much of a problem, since the motel isn't excessively busy and not near a busy street. For the price, it was definitely not bad at all, and I would probably stay again the next time I happen to be in Ellensburg. Devamı

Heeft nood aan een opknapbeurt. Prijs kwaliteit was niet helemaal in verhouding.
