Homewood Suites by Hilton - Albany

The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. When we had breakfast one of the staff made a smile out of banana, strawberries and whipped cream which made for a very nice start to the day. I strongly recommend this hotel for a family.

Stayed there one night before going to New York City. Friendly service, great rooms, excellent buffet breakfast!

when an adjacent room used water, we heard the noise of the pipes, it got aggravating. Other wise great stay.

Great staff and such a relaxing room that is well appointed. It will be a new getaway that is only an hour and half from home. Pool area great and what a treat in the winter. Can't wait to go back.

The suite we had was as described, small but complete, and actually met the definition of "suite" by having a door between the two roomlets. Everything was fine about the room (including the little kitchenette), the staff was great, and the amenities at the hotel (including breakfast) were excellent. So why am I only giving this three stars? The noise […] from the neighbors' plumbing on either side wasn't just noticeable, it was LOUD. Every time there was a flush or a shower, the roar of the pipes shook our room. There's one basic thing I require from a hotel, and that's that I get a good night's sleep. Since I didn't get that, normally I'd rate the experience a two-star affair. But this place was otherwise uniformly excellent I will give them the third star. Maybe it was just the particular suite we had. But the noise was pretty bad, enough to wake me four or five times in one night. Devamı

The suite was very convenient to us traveling with a two year old. We were able to keep drinks cold for him and with the crib on wheels we were able to watch tv in the bedroom while he slept in the living room area undisturbed. My few complaints were that the room was non-smoking but smelled like a cigarette, even though we turned the heat way down […] the room was still warm and dry we had to put the ceiling fan on and it was December. Also our key card would not work in the side door and although I told the lady at the front desk twice and was told they'd check it out right away the problem was never taken care of. Small issues given the convenience of the suite for our family and the location which was close to my husbands family who we were there to visit. Devamı

Homewood Suites is located close to my parents and sisters in the Albany area and this past weekend was the second time in so many months that my family stayed there. I the past, we have tried out a number of the hotels on Wolf Road but my search for a comfortable, centrally located spot for family visits is over! The location is excellent -- right […] off the thoughway and the staff is friendly and attentive. I have two teenage boys and so I very much appreciate the suite arrangement -- it allows us to have enough room to stretch out and not get in each others way. The boys love the popcorn in the room and the access to hot chocolate in the lobby (as they are always hungry)! The pool and hot tub is a great place to wind down after a crazy day with family and the breakfast buffet takes the guess work out of where to go for breakfast... The rooms are clean and comfortable and both times I stayed there it seemed so quiet, I felt like I was the only one on the floor! Im looking forward to my next stay! Devamı

My husband and I along with our 2 teenagers have stayed at this particular Homewood Suites a few times now. We love it every time! I would totally recommend this hotel. It's a very convenient location, the service is great and the hotel is beautiful. They have a very good continental breakfast in the mornings. We were pleasantly surprised on Wednesday […] night when we went into the lobby and found out they were serving a free Italian dinner along with free beer and wine. Saved us from having to go out to dinner and spending the extra money. Close to many restaurants,malls and the airport. Devamı

A must stay. I checked in late at night and the front desk manager was unbelievable. She got us checked in quickly and even gave us ideas for late dinner that were spot on. She was very pleasant. Breakfast in the morning was as expected. When we checked out in the morning, the front desk manager was also pleasant and a joy. 5 Stars

We were pleasantly surprised at how clan and comfortable this hotel is. We have nothing negative to say. the room was spotless and the staff very helpful. The breakfast choices great too. I would definately stay here again and highly recommend it.

My family was in town for a wedding and Homewood Suites was the Perfect Setup for us. My son and his family rented one suite. When I rented mine two weeks later, I requested a suite near to theirs. The desk clerk was very accomodating in getting us two rooms that were adjoining when we arrived. It was very helpful, because we had small children.

By far THE BEST hotel experience ever. We had stayed at this hotel previously and were not disappointed this time. In fact, they exceeded the superb experience from the first time! Everything was great about this hotel. It was right off the interstate, the pool area and lobby were beautiful, the breakfast was one of the best I've had and so on. My only qualm, and it is a big one, is that the room reeked of smoke and not only was it a non-smoking room, but a non-smoking floor. Either they didn't clean the room enough after someone […] broke the rules or their ventilation needs to be re-done but it was quite horrible. They did give us some free waters and cookies the next morning though. I'd stay here again, I would just check the room odor first! Devamı

We have stayed at more hotels in the Albany area that we can count. We recently have been trying the "suites" hotels so our daughter can sleep in a separate room from us. This hotel is comfortable, in a good location, great condition, great amenities, and a reasonable price. We will be coming back!

Close to the airport, great meeting room, house keeping was able to retrieve my contact solution after they cleaned my room and I had left it in a drawer. Very friendly!

We chose this hotel because of its ratings on various sites. We therefore had high expectations. In short, the high ratings are justified. Although close to the airport and next I87, the room was very quiet - no noise from outside or inside the hotel. The breakfast was very good. Oh my gosh what a beautiful clean place to stay. It was our first time staying here in Albany. I can absolutely tell you whenever we travel to Albany again we will be only staying here. Kudo's to this hotel!!!!!!!

Great Experience!! Going forward, Homewood Suites will always be my first choice, it is a great value and better than some other pricer hotels we have stayed in...Not only were we able to check in early, they were friendly and helpful with things in the area. The room was clean and large. The 24 hour "coffee shop" was stocked with those much needed […] late night snacks and the buffet breakfast they include was better than some well known restaurants. Our room was even right next to the elevator, which I was originally concerned about, but we didn't hear any noise...overall a great experience - Thank you!! Devamı

Was in Albany for my daughter's college parent weekend in early October. Have stayed at other Homewood Suite's before and this is one of the better ones. A very helpful front desk found us dinner reservations at a nice local eatery, the breakfast buffet was clean, well stocked, and of good quality. Room quality was typical for the franchise. The indoor […] pool is bigger than you would find in most hotels of this type - a major plus for my younger daughter. Overall very impressed and satisfied - we will return to this property for subsequent visits to the area. Devamı

Just stayed there one night. Complementary shuttle service was very convenient. Gas station and several restaurants in close proximity. My family enjoyed the Breakfast, as did all those sitting around us. I would stay there again.

Very comfortable King bed and sofa bed. Nicely decorated. Front desk staff was helpful. Only problem was that we had to skip their breakfast - it didn't start until 7am and our plane was leaving at 8am. It was a Sunday, so maybe it's different during the week.

I met an old friend for a day and we wanted a comfortable place to hang out. It was great to be able to make popcorn, relax on the couch & be within walking distance of so many restaurants. The hotel was just as described & very comfortable. The breakfast had lots of good choices and the eating area was pleasantly furnished. Vi havde bestilt Suite - kingsize bed. Her var en sofa til den tredie voksne. Ikke speciel god sofaseng, men dejlig kingsize bed. Fint fint køkken med alt, hvad man skal bruge. God morgenmad på hotellet med Starbuck coffee! Alt fungerer.
